Chapter 35 "You a virgin"
"Avery you okay sweetheart." Jake asked me again and he pulled my face up and turn toward him. I can't believe he is being so gentle with me and nice. These kinds of guys are never gentle and nice. They usually are hard and mean to you. They demand you to obey and follow their rules. But now Jake is being like this, and Elijah is calm and smiling at me. Wait a minute how is he driving and looking at me. I didn't realize we stop, and we parked in the school parking lot.
"Hey Avery! Did you come with Elijah Woods and Jake Stone?" She asked in a confused and shocking expression on her face.
I looked around and I saw Natalie giving me the same expression. But they don't need to worry I probably won't be getting that chance with them again once they go back to old nasty playing ways. I sighed and I drop my smile.
Avery what's wrong?" Asked Ashely my cousin and my best friend.
I am still thinking about what happen in my house and in the vehicle with Jake and Elijah. They were acting weird touching me and be friendly and . I still don't know why they been changing. But I do know I like it. I wonder if they would be my mate. Then I had a tiny smile on my face thinking about them being my mate and being together and then my smile drop remember how they treated me all my life. I shouldn't be giving them a chance, but I can't help it thinking about them. They been on my mind lately.
"Avery you there hello?" Please tells us." I am sorry." I heard Ashely again. I can hear she is worried and upset with herself for asking me questions about why I was with the guys that hurt and bully me. I know she cares about me so, I stop and started paying attention and spoke to my friends.
"It's nothing" I told them about being with the guys and them taking me to school.
"Yeah, well I guess they wanted to take you to school and that all huh." Natalie said with her arms cross over her chest staring at me with her eyebrow up. She knows there more to this. I know she and Ashely are not stupid. They can see right threw me with my lying but I am not lying I really don't know why they being nice and wanted to hang out with me? So, yes, I am not lying to my friends. If someone is lying it them, I saw them with the enemies' friends hanging out with Ashely and Natalie.
I didn't tell them about their lying, so I kept that to myself.
So instead, I said.
"I don't think it will happen again." They just probably being nice to give me a ride to school or they just want me help with their homework or something."
No, I don't think so Avery because one they like have three. Five g.p.a's and they would never been nice like ever." Ashely replied with her hand point over her should towards them. I look over her shoulder I saw two sets eyes staring over at me and they belong to Elijah and Jake.
I shook my head and started giggling back of my throat. I am trying to hold it in, but I couldn't long. I let out my laugh and my friends were staring at me with a strange look on their face. I can see they were worried and confused how I am acting.
Stop laughing Avery! This is serious." Ashely said getting upset.
Yeah, this not funny Avery! Natalie said with the same expression on her face but also with worry.
"Oh, come on!" I am fine aren't I." they didn't hurt me or killed me right." I tell my friends and they still standing there staring at me like I have two heads.
"Are you sure your, okay?" Ashely and Natalie said at the same time.
"Really, girls." I am fine." I tell them. But then Ashely said something made me blushed.
"Are you still a virgin?" she asked me in a soft whisper.
I stared into her face I nod my head with a yes.
"So, you didn't do anything with them?" Ashely asked me with red cheeks. Looking over her shoulder over at them.
I didn't want to tell her and Natalie out in the open in front of the school hallway. They deserve the truth but not right now. Until I am ready to tell them, I been making out with Elijah Woods and Jake Stone.
I can't help keeping it a secret from my friends, but they also keeping stuff from me too.
