Do You Mean He Was Mislead?

As usual, Lucian invariably wakes up before Anna. She saw no sign of him when she woke up, and the first person on her mind was Yula. Whether Alisa likes it or not, she was going to take back her maid, as long as she has Lucian's permission.

The new maid came, and Anna sent her back to call Yula instead. To occupy her mind before Yula's arrival, she thought of Lucian's answers last night. '' How could he despise his mom that much and love a maid?'' Doesn't it sound dubious? It does right?

Aye, there was a knock at the door her face lit up like a bouquet blooming. '' Yula, come in quickly'' she chuckled a little. She saw that warm smile that has always been on Yula's face, her smile would brighten up the room each time she enters, she was bright and bubbly. Anna noticed that smile wasn't there that day in the kitchen, she only saw sadness, and the dullness of her eyes. Wondered what Alisa must have told her...

'' Good morning young madam'' she bowed slightly, just a few days away from Anna she has forgotten, her likes and dislikes. '' Yula, did you seriously forget, that I asked you not to bow to me? I don't see you as a mere maid, you are my friend. I mean the only friend I have here, so please....'' Anna gestured to broaden the smile on her face, and the shine in her eyes brightened.

'' So let's get you to prepared then, you have a lot to do for your wedding preparation'' Yula broke out of the long smile between them. '' I will get the bath ready ma'am'' she clicked  her finger in the air and ran into the bathroom.

Anna abode in front of the mirror, using sanitary face wipes to clean her face before going to bathe, as she proceeded with that, she watched Yula in the bathroom, through the mirror in front of her. '' Gosh, she seemed so free than that day... Poor Yula'' Anna squinted her eyes.

'' Young madam, it's ready now.'' Anna took off her clothes, her tanned skin ignited as a little sun shone on it, from the window. She entered and lay flat, as Yula scrubbed and wash her body.

'' Yula? Can we talk?'' she politely asks, Yula brightly bath her. '' How can I help you, young madam?'' Her face was impersonal. '' Promise you would answer my questions, I don't want it to sound like an order but a request from a friend, please promise you would help?'' Anna's eyes were irresistible, Yula's heart tightened, as she noticed the innocent look on her face, When you look at her deep, passionate mysterious blue-coloured eyes, no matter how saddened you're with this reality, a sudden appealing feeling takes over you. 

'' I will try my best, Ma'am'' Yula gulped. '' Thanks. That day Yula... I noticed an expression I have never seen before, perhaps for the short period have known it could be occasionally, but I don't think a happy person like you, would suddenly have a deep, dark, secretive look on your face'' Anna mentioned.

Yula is tight-lipped, she pouts. '' It was as if you a knife had penetrated your hearts. Yula if not knife, some words can penetrate your heart and hurt you than a knife can do.'' Anna doesn't want to beat around the bush, hitting the nail on it's head would be, easier and more comprehensive.

'' Yula I know you, what did Alisa say to you? It had your face sour. Tell me please I need to know'' Anna pleased with her innocuous blue eyes, she sounded like she was dead on accurate.

'' I__I can't.....'' she stuttered, pinning Anna's eye worriedly. Yula suddenly began to shake, and Anna was baffled. She slowly drifted to the bed away from the window side. '' P__ please don't ask me that'' Yula's lips and hands were quivering, followed by the tears that began pouring down her eyes.

'' goddamn it___'' Anna developed goosebumps on her skin, as though she was blown by some strange vibes, her curiosity heightened. '' Yula, what could scare you this much?'' Anna's pupils dilated. 

She followed Yula who seem as though counting her steps backwards slowly, Yula seemed frightened like she had a blade on her neck. '' Alisa__ did she threaten you?'' Her words vibrated on her vocal cords. 

'' I can't answer, I'm sorry'' Yula cried.  '' Okay, now I see. Yula you have to trust me, I don't care what she said to you, but trust me I promise to protect you, I won't let anything go wrong, trust me'' Anna grabbed her sweaty hands, pleading along with it.

Yula drew a heavy breath from the atmosphere and slow down her heart rate, she saw the honesty in her eyes, she saw Anna was desperate to know every one of it to the bottom of the story. '' Yes, calm down Yula. Nothing would go wrong trust me'' demonstrating with her hands on her chest, rubbing it downwards.

Anna rushed with a glass of what in her hands, Yula gulped down a little, and placed her on the bed. '' Yes, take a deep breath Yula, you need to calm down and tell me everything that is scaring you, we gonna solve this out'' Anna promised.

'' Anna__ I want to get out of this house please, I've been caged here for the past 18 years of my life'' Anna's heart punctured, and the reason for that, she had just addressed Anna as someone important to her, by mentioning her name. 

'' You've been caged?'' Anna frowned. Yula was disturbed by the tears, it was breaking the words from her lips, and she wasn't speaking clearly.  '' What do you mean, about that?'' Anna's blue eyes grew dark, and a little mixture of dirt, combined with anger.

'' I can't go out of here, She is afraid I would let the cat out of the bag, about Lucian's parents, and she would kill me if I try escaping me. And I promise I won't do that, just let me out please!''

'' Shush__ '' Anna covered up her mouth, with her hands, the moment she heard kill. The hair on her tanned skin stood firmly.

'' Holyshit__'' Anna didn't know what to say, she was just in awe, never heard such a disastrous thing in her entire life. 

'' Do you mean Lucian has been deceived? I wonder what he was told that made him detest his parents so much, to the extent he broke and burnt all memories of them'' Anna's lips trembled, along with her teeth that have turned into a vibrator.

'' What are their names, I mean his parents, would there be at least a picture to see what they look like?'' Anna ran her hands roughly into her hair, as though she was going insane by the shock, blasting her entire brain.

''Lucian's mum name is Lucy Freud, and his dad Richard Freud'' Yula managed to say through her grinding teeth. '' Lucy__ a woman with such a beautiful name can never treat his son badly, something must have happened. Yula what did the witch say to Lucian, that made him hate his parents?'' Anna shook her head, that poor boy was hallucinating all because of that damn maid! she clenched her hands into fists.

'' Tell me Yula, please I need to know this is important for Lucian's health...'' her orb eyes, seek answers.

A knock halt the words from Yula's lips, they fell on the tip of her tongue. His scent filled the tire region of the room. '' Lucian?!'' her eyes dilated.

'' Yula, quickly go to the bathroom and wash your face, he mustn't suspect anything'' Anna whispered yelled.  '' Come in__p_please'' her lips weren't stable just yet.

'' Anna, ain't you ready yet? I've been waiting for you. We need to get ready and start going to invite our guests for the wedding. Especially, the board members, remember we told them that we would keep them posted.'' He spoke with his hands deep into his pocket.

'' Really?'' Anna replied neutrally as she pretended to be wearing an earning while sitting in front of the mirror.  '' Do quickly, and join me downstairs'' he said with a straight face. The moment he stepped out of the door, she sighed deeply. 

'' Yula, we should continue when I'm back, please stay safe, do not let Alisa to know that we had this discussion. For your safety first Yula'' she promptly said, preparing herself to be dressed.

'' And thank you so much for trusting me, I feel honoured for pouring your heart to me'' Anna tried to force out a smile on her face, what could be more disturbing than seeing Lucian suffer due to lies that he has been told?
