Meet Me Downstairs

Anna and Lucian returned home after the wedding, she was so exhausted from the stress and needed to take a long nap, but the noise in the hall wouldn't let the drum in her head stop playing, she was being an excruciating head. 

Getting married wasn't really easy stuff to deal with, it takes a lot from you. It drains your energy. They both didn't speak to each other after the wedding, and Anna has been thinking a lot about the KISS, touching her lips put her in an awe situation, it blasted her with shock, he kissed her!

She wanted to have eye contact with him but he seemed to be pretty troubled, he wasn't looking at her, nor was he saying anything to her. As a newly wedded couple, but should be trying to get along already. Anna swallowed mind crept to the gift Yula and Nora but for her, the pictures in her head of her wearing Lucian such clothes for Lucian, make her skin creepy, it's not something to even think about, she is damn fucking shy.

Anna couldn't wait for any more time she jumped into the bed, wrapping the thick blanket around her, the cold was a monster at this hour, it was just 7 pm the night, a night that hasn't advanced yet.

'' Eat dinner before going to bed, Anna'' his deep voice echoed in the void room, the wind was transmitting sound speedily, he took off his wrist then looked at her. '' I dont crave food right now, but a long nap'' Anna murmured.

'' That's an order Anna, not a request. I know you were too occupied to eat something for yourself, I don't want you getting sick.'' he shrugged, taking off the remaining of his outfit, afterwards, he went out of the room.

'' JEEZz why can't they understand me that I ain't friends with food!'' Anna grumbled, she was thinking about what to do, he said it was an order, not a request. On a second thought to obey as a wife, there was a knock at the door, which she wasn't expecting at this time of the night.

'' Come in'' her pleasant voice was blown by the cold wind. '' Yula you? What do you want?'' Anna asked, before staring at her hands she was carrying a white tray, with food wrapped in ceramic plates, and a golden spoon.

'' I'm sorry ma'am young master asked me to give them to you'' Yula dropped the food on the bed, beside her. '' This man is really serious'' she rubbed her forehead, and her brow slightly.

'' Sure you can go I will eat them'' she said to Yula who was standing like a guard watching her to start eating up already. '' I'm sorry ma'am it's an order to wait till you finish the food'' Yula lowered her head.

'' Oh fine! I will eat them'' she rolled her eyes, sighed out deeply. After some minutes she handed over the dishes to Yula, although she was not able to eat it all up, she ate something that was enough.

Anna mumbled as in grumbling some words before burying herself back into the blanket. '' Now I can have a peaceful night huh?!'' she quarrelled and wasn't paying attention when Lucian entered the room.

'' Yes, you are free to sleep now. Good night'' his voice was cool, but she was startled by his presence, what if she had said silly things that would annoy him, immediately she clipped her hands against her lips tightly. In her dilated eyes she turned around to look at him. '' Y__you are here?'' She stuttered.

He nodded with his hands rooted in his pocket. '' Yes,'' he smiled slightly.

'' When did you??'' she was startled like she had seen a ghost. 

'' Uhm__ where you kept busy with your voice, how was it possible you hear the creaking sound of the door?'' he dragged his pillow from underneath her, then laid into position. 

'' You need to rest, goodnight'' he cut her off even though he noticed, she still has words at the tip of her lips. '' Goodnight'' she backed him, as he did as well.

The morning sun dealt with her eyes as if she was the only one left to the up from bed by this time. Lucian was in front of the dressing mirror already in his office costume. She blinked her eyes if she was actually seeing clearly or if it was virtual vision.

'' Lucian?'' she voiced out his name, always in the sweet tone of her voice. Stunned to see him on this black luxury suit, coupled with black trousers matching his suit and a white inner-wear. He was wearing his black expensive watch, he owns the most expensive wristwatch in the country, without the company or not he was still fucking rich, a billionaire. But the old man wants the company back no matter what, it was the hard work of his late son. His incense filled the room, that scent that could make your legs drip.

'' W__work?'' she stuttered, the bright rays made her skin glow, a tanned golden skin. 

He turned away from the mirror. '' Meet me downstairs, get prepared, we have an urgent meeting to attend'' he said in his baritone voice. His look was heavenly...

Anna looked worn out, it was very obvious from her weak eyes, that she was unable to get enough sleep after she barely slept due to the noise. '' So early'' she yawned. 

He hissed a little as he used the door, she wondered why he had used the room to dress up, recently he barely used it. 

'' Give Anna these clothes, there are new ones, she would be wearing this whenever we have work to do at the office.'' Lucian gave some boxes to Yula, there were entirely different tuxedoes.

Anna saw the boxes on Yula they were pretty many she had difficulty plugging them all into her room. '' What is all this Yula?'' Anna's brow raised.

'' Clothes and shoes for you'' she struggled to bring them inside, some were blocking her vision. '' Who asked you to bring them'' she hopped out of the bed, arranging her purple night frock, as she wore her slippers. 

'' Young master asked me'' Anna won't stop with the interrogation. '' Why does he prefer to speak to me through you?'' She frowned.

'' I think young master is shy'' Yula laughed. Anna's face released the strain. 

'' He doesn't have to'' she smiled to herself. '' I will prepare the bath now, young master is in a hurry to go out, and he wants you prepared as soon as possible'' Yula finished up with the packing before she ran into the bathroom to prepare the pungent bath.

Anna opened all the boxes one by one and there were short gowns to her knees, some were revealing her bare chest, including her back. She was not used to this kind of clothes that were too exposed.

She rubbed cream on her tanned skin as she spoke to Yula through the mirror. '' Yula the clothes are way too revealing can't you see?'' She muttered.

'' I dont have any say ma'am young master chose them for you'' she answered. '' He did??'' she swiftly turned away from the mirror, as she saw Yula nod the second time, she gulped.

She chose the crimson colour of a gown dropping on her kneel, Anna picked a matching colour of a bag to fit the gown, and then she wore her diamond ring which she must never misplace. 

The diamond earrings were a bit heavy but they suit her perfectly. As she was about to exit the room her phone rang in her bag. A broad smile appeared on her face when she saw the caller ID.

She shifted her ears from the phone, her loud voice would soon block her ears one day. '' Tell me the good news!!!! You guys did it last night right? Does he like the pants and the bra??'' 

'' Good lord would you save me from this girl please?'' Anna rolled her eyes. '' Nora!!! Stop being silly, nothing happened last night. Besides I'm in a hurry right now, I will call you back later bye'' Anna quickly hung up to catch her breath.

'' Huh? She hangs up on me? I think they did it, and she doesn't want to spill out to me!'' Nora grumbled throwing herself on the bed. 

Anna sighed and remember Lucian was waiting for her downstairs. She hurried up and found out he was already in the car. '' You took eternity'' he said with no expression on his face. '' Let's go driver'' he went quiet, without inspecting her outfit, and she was expecting him to compliment her like he always did.

'' How do I look Lucian?'' she asked, breaking the monstrous silence between them. He didn't want to look her in the eyes, each time he does he felt strange and he doesn't want to welcome that feeling.

'' Nice'' he put his face back into position, always focusing on the road. Anna smiled viciously, numerous questions were popping up in her head, especially when they are now officially married,  going to the company would be part of her life now.

'' Lucian can you tell me what my job is at the office for always going with you and even attending meetings?'' Anna bit on the tip of her lips, staring at his magnetic face.

Though he wanted to tell her to start serving him black coffee every minute as her job he thought of it carefully before spilling out his words. '' Don't make her suspect, making her labour would ruin the plans. Just treat her well for a while like a responsible husband, get the damn company back to your full name, then you can trash her completely out of your life!'' He made adjustments on his collar as he shrugged to himself.

'' You__ you would assist me with the files'' he yet avoided another eye contact with her, he is certain that he is probably sick at heart for always bouncing against its thoracic each time he stares at those pair blue magnetic eyes, that were full of magic, beautiful magic...
