The Photos!

Lucian left the dining table first without completing his meals, now who is the one starving? He or Anna, she should apparently be rolling her eyes by now.

The moment she saw him leaving without having to peak at her or said any words, subconsciously dropped down her spoon, staring at him in the direction but he happened to be on call. '' Was that business calls?'' Anna narrowed her eyes. 

She allegedly doesn't want to waste her energy dwelling on the thoughts, but then again she has to think of the interview. '' Interview all of a sudden? Gosh, what do I say to them?'' Anna panicked, this news made her completely lose her appetite.

After some minutes everyone has almost left the dining table, and she was left with Yula standing by her side. '' Young madam are you okay?'' Yula bent down to her level, Anna felt her breath on her chin.

She rested her face on her knuckles lost in their thought, she didn't hear Yula when she spoke, was she that worried? Well yeah, the public wouldn't know this was a contract marriage and they certainly don't have to know.

Yula tapped her slowly beside her collar bone '' Young madam you seem to be lost in your thoughts are you okay?'' Yula frowned.

'' Yula I'm worried about the interview, I don't know what to say, it means the whole nation would be seeing me as Lucian's wife'' Anna said.

'' Yes, ain't you happy? You are the wife to Yul's only heir, a complete man every girl is dying to be with'' Yula shook her head in despair. '' Uhm__ I don't know how I am going to answer all of their questions, What if___'' Anna hurried up from her seat with her index finger on the tip of her lower teeth.

'' What if what?__'' Yula asked following her as she slowly walked up the stairs. '' You sound way too worried'' Yula added. '' Yula what if I don't know what to say?'' Anna shrugged.

'' Haha__ I can't believe that was the reason for your stutter?'' Yula chuckled. '' Really is that funny to you?'' Anna frowned, Yula's chuckle increased, she can't seem to stop laughing at the look on Anna's face, to admit the truth she looks so much like a cute baby with those charming eyes whenever she is worried or angry. Those two emotions practically don't portray well, rather it gives off the innocent vibes of a baby. She looks so cute when she frowns.

'' Are you making jest of me??'' Anna narrowed her eyes at Yula's tearing eyes. She had laughed so hard till the point tears dropped down on her cheek. '' No, Young madam, is just that your face looks so funny to be angry. Anger doesn't suit you, it would be best you always smile with those luscious lips and charming blue eyes'' Anna noticed her eyes trailing around her lips and eyes as she said.

'' Yula you are not a lesbian are you?'' Anna squinted her eyes, and then she curled her lips, resting her hands on her tiny waist. Again, Yula burst into uncontrollable laughter, which had to force a smile out of Anna's lips.

'' I must say, you are having fun ain't you?'' Anna smirked, she took the last step on the stairs before entering her room. '' I'm sorry madam you are just so funny. Between you don't need to get anxious over what to say, you have Lucian with you, he would surely help you out or prevent questions he knows you won't be able to answer.'' Yula successfully calmed her nervousness.

'' Speaking of Lucian where is he? He left the dining table quite early after without having to touch half of his meal?'' Anna sprung around the aisle, holding her gown as it was sweeping the floor.  '' Young Master?'' Yula asked. 

'' Yes Yula, I haven't seen him since he left the table to answer some calls'' Anna said. '' You haven't checked your room maybe he is inside waiting for you'' Yula said.

'' Oh__ I think that might be true'' Anna thought of what he said to her at the table. Yula pushed the door open, and a wave of silence welcomed their faces, her eyes swirled around the room but there was no sign of someone inside, not even Lucian's scent, she has gotten so used to his incense to be apt on deciding whether he was present or not.

'' I don't think he is inside Yula'' Anna said her mood suddenly went a wee bit dull. '' Then if he is not here, he should definitely be in his room '' Yula suggested.

'' Let's check Yula'' Anna said in a rush, raising her gown to fasten her steps. They both ran to  his personal cabin, it was the same thing a deafening silence slammed against them. '' Lucian? Where could he have gone to without telling me?'' Anna's heart sank into her pit.

Ahead of them a tall man dressed in a black suit with a black spec approached them, Anna sighted him and hurried up to him, he was a familiar guard, the guard that assisted her in packing her stuff after the contract was signed. '' Zero, have you seen Lucian anywhere?'' he could perceive panic in her voice. 

'' Do not worry young madam, young master is fine he had asked me to bring you to the interview venue'' he said. '' Bring me? Where is he? I thought we were going there together'' Anna frowned as she asked many questions at once, she seemed pretty scared about Lucian, what if he is in trouble? And Zero is not telling her the truth?

'' I'm sorry young madam he has to leave for a very important business'' he said. '' If you don't have faith enough in me, you can speak to him on the phone'' Zero said, dialling Lucian's number. 

He picked up immediately after a ring '' Here you go'' he reached the phone to Anna. ''Lu__'' '' Anna he is right, I will be there soon, go with him'' he didn't allow her to speak before confirming Zero's words.

Immediately he hung up and Anna gave him back the phone. '' Can we go now? We don't have much time'' Zero said. Anna nodded she didn't know what to say anymore, but to keep her silence and thought of what was going on.

'' Yula I will see you when I'm back, please be safe okay'' Anna smiled, letting go of her hands as she left with Zero. 

Anna got into the car, she played with her hands together as the car was silent as a necropolis. '' He is weird, first, he asked me to see him and now he disappeared. What could he be up to? I hope this is not one of Alisa's plans. Very soon her deeds would come to an end when I expose her to Lucian'' she pressed her palm hard.

A message popped up on her phone as she was thinking about Lucian. She looked down at her phone it was resting on her lap, she saw the message notification and immediately clicked on the message box. '' Hey Anna, it's Cassy. I didn't get your call as you said. I got the photos already, but we have to meet so you can pick them up, I would be waiting for you by 5 pm at Starbucks restaurant. I suppose you know it, bye. See you soon'' Anna read the message within herself. 

'' The photos!!'' Happiness hovered over her face. '' Oh thank goodness, I should be done with the interview before 5 pm'' Anna said fidgeting her fingers across her phone. '' This is such good news'' she lept.

Then Zero happened to be a fast driver, in less than thirty minutes they arrived at the said venue, agencies and medias were already crowding the entrance of the gallery.  Well, they didn't know her yet until the time when she would be introducing herself. Regardless, Anna was able to pass through the crowds of the media without being questioned, due to her identity that has not been known to them yet.

When she entered the conference room majestically, her steps were in line with how expensive she appeared to be. She met a man in a black piano suit, who looks pretty expensive and she caught sight of the brand. It was MR which implies this man must be filthy rich as well, no wonder this place looks like heaven. Every part of the hall was made with glittering gold.

Why didn't she notice him the moment she entered? Anyway, the beauty of the hall caught her attention that she barely noticed Lucian sitting adjacent to the other man. '' Lucian ?'' She asked with her eyes. 

He must have seen her the first time she appeared at the entrance he has been waiting for her. He smiled with his eyes as she communicated eyes to eyes with him. '' Welcome Mr Lucian, the only heir to Yul's group'' the host said. '' I thank you Mrs Lucian for coming'' he stared at Anna as she sat on the same seat with Lucian. '' Move closer'' he whispered in her ears. '' Huh? Why'' she asked frowning. '' We are couples and the whole country would be seeing us'' he whispered again.

Anna couldn't argue she moved closer to him almost glueing her body to his. Then he rolled his eyes in frustration. '' Can't she just do something smartly and stylishly? Just look how she is almost penetrating my body'' he said to himself.

'' So Mrs & Mr would be speaking to us about their wedding and how he managed to find a woman when we are well informed that he is not a woman type'' the host asked, and some other commentators nodded and added '' Viewers has been on this question, 'How did the only heir to Yul's group manage to get himself a woman, and who is this woman?'' 

Chills went down her spine, she looked back at Lucian as he swallowed dryly. '' You don't have to speak, I will let you know when you need to'' he shot a glare at her, the two has been using their eyes to communicate not a single word said to each other.

'' Can I have the mic please?'' He spoke like a gentleman.  '' I and my wife are here to claim the rumours of me getting married is true'' he said. '' Wow that is such good news'' the host gave a round of applause.

The interview came to an end after Lucian announced his wife and the date of their wedding, therein Anna was able to introduce herself and she was shown to the whole nation as Lucian's wife.  In Lucian's words in answering the question of how he met Anna, he narrated some sweet loving lies. Anna couldn't help holding the laughter in, but she has to, to avoid any kind of embarrassment.

Lucian and Anna entered the same car on their way home, they sat quietly as usual as the driver drove smoothly. '' So did you really fall in love with me at first sight? Was I the kind of woman you have never seen before?'' Anna repeated the words he said during the interview.

Her cheek was aching a lot from preventing not to laugh, inside of her she was dying of laughter. '' I said that at the interview to suit our perfect couples life'' he said without looking at her. 

'' Exactly, you are the kind of woman I have never seen before, so foolish and a gold digger, also a thief. You steal away people peaceful life!'' He said within himself, in anger he slacked the tie on his neck, as he thought of the interview, it was something he never imagined he would encounter, if not for this selfish girl that invaded his life. 

The silence was too effective that Anna has to speak. '' Lucian why didn't you tell me you were leaving back at home? Where did you go?'' she asked in her tiny pleasant voice

'' Goodness, is she monitoring my movement now? Alisa was truly right about this, she is a big spy'' he always spoke to himself. Anna didn't get any replies from him, the alarm on her phone rang the moment it was almost 5 pm.

'' Oh goodness! I almost forgot, thank God I set an alarm for a reminder'' she said out loud, catching Lucian's attention. Immediately he turned his face to look at Anna. '' What is the alarm for?'' he asked. 

'' I need to go see a friend Lucian, she is very important to me, this is why I have to invite her, especially to our wedding, which is already tomorrow'' she said lying through her teeth.

'' Huh? I will drop you off'' he said. '' Oh no, Lucian you don't have to worry about that I will go on my own, I will be dropping off here'' Anna looks like she would be winning the little built up arguments. 

'' Okay, call me when you are done. I will send someone to pick you up'' he said with a little frown settled on his face, he was kinda feeling uncomfortable for letting Anna go alone.
