What Am I Doing!

'' Can you see this? This is what I have to show you, it was a bad idea getting married to Anna, she has a spy following you, and not just that, a maid too. Spying on you'' Alisa pointed at Yula, who she has dragged out on the floor, and the camera she has spotted, smashing it on the ground.

'' Damn that girl! I always knew she was a gold digger, argh!'' Lucian threw a glass table in the hallway, smashing it on the floor, breaking everything present in the aisle. '' I can't wait till she leaves my life!'' his voice was thunderous, it was deafening.  Yula has begun crying on the base, afraid of something strange going to happen to her from this point.

Anna descended out of the car, and disputed something was wrong.  Chaotic vibes slapped hard against her skin, at the entrance of the mansion. She could hear Lucian's growling, it felt like the whole house was going to lift up from its foundation, as though it was shaking with so much anguish.

'' That is Lucian's voice. Lucian shit!, has he started hallucinating again?'' Anna's heart throbbed, she banged the door of the car hard, running into the living room, the shuttled off to the upstairs, as she ran across the foyer, everywhere was disordered, scattered flowers, broken vessels, and she didn't know when one pierced through her slippers, cutting her legs.

'' Ahh!'' she screamed, never mind the pain under her foot, she was scared and worried about what could be wrong with Lucian. '' Lucian? What is wrong?!'' she screamed, as she appeared in his front. She noticed the aura, the air around him was intense, and her heart throbbed. 

She peeked at Alisa beside him, she gave Anna an irritating glare, by the look on his face she could tell, Alisa has manipulated Lucian again.  '' What is wrong Lucian why are you so angry?'' she held his shoulder, and he quickly flung her hands off him.

Her eyes fell to the ground, she saw Yula crying on the ground helplessly. '' Speak to me please, what is going on?'' Anna was confused.

Lucian tightened his fist, reminded himself of his goal, took a long breath and calmed himself down. Alisa walked out first. Anna saw Lucian's eyes, they were full of wrath, no one was saying anything to her, she was getting confused. 

Lucian walked out of her, without saying any words but his heart was so heavy, he just wants to pour out the words cooking in his mind, no he won't say them to her just yet, just a little longer, he would be able to spill them and kick her out of his life.

After Lucian walked passed Yula on the ground without saying anything, Yula suddenly screamed as she saw the blood oozing out from her legs. '' Anna you are bleeding!'' Yula screamed. 

Lucian's foot forced him to halt his step, he doesn't quite understand why his heart suddenly throbbed the moment, he heard she was bleeding. '' Bleeding?'' He swiftly turned backwards, running back to where Anna seemed to be crashing flat on the ground.


'' Hey, hey Anna! What's wrong! Wake up'' he grabbed her waist before she could reach the ground. '' She has been bleeding since!'' his eyes widened, as he followed the path in which she came from, footprint of blood was everywhere, the places she stepped.

'' No, no Anna, wake up!'' he lifted her on his torso, carrying her back into the room, Yula was ahead she pushed the doctor open as he entered placing Anna on the bed. 

'' Yula call the doctor right now'' he ordered, his mind was restless, he was worried.

After the doctor stipulated that Anna hasn't eaten the whole day, and she lost blood from the wounds, made Lucian was very furious, his heart throbbed, that he almost vented it on Yula. 

Yula fed her some soup, that was essential for her improvement and also to make the drugs work perfectly in her body.  Lucian descent the covers up to her chest, as she slept, Anna hasn't woken up since she passed out.

The evening was already here, and Lucian couldn't have his eyes shut till she wakes up, he was just studying her breathing, it was very slow earlier, but with time it was gradually becoming normal.

'' Lucian... I hope you are not mad at me'' the voice fainted. Lucian stared at her innocent face. '' Was she sleep talking?'' his face suddenly seemed relaxed. What could she be dreaming about? 

Lucian reached his hands to her face, wanting to touch the soft and innocent face in front of him. Something suddenly made him draw his hands back, a flash of what Alisa had told him, and the camera was the solid proof of what she has said.

'' No, what am I doing?! How can I think of touching this gold digger's face'' he squeezed his hands hard and flipped over to the other side of the bed. '' I can't wait to kick you out of my life for real'' he grumbled.

The morning came sooner than expected, Anna woke up and felt Lucian's amber eyes on her. He sat on the couch opposite her as he waited till she woke up. He pressed his ankle on his lap and supported his cheek with his hand. '' Good morning wifey, do you feel better?'' he crossed his legs, his lips curled. 

Anna squinted her eyes, she saw the clothes on her, someone had changed her clothes as well, and her hair was scattered all over her shoulder. '' D__ did you change my clothes for me?'' Her heart was racing as she stammered. 

'' So what if I did? I am your husband right?'' He smirked. '' W_what, how could you?'' Fear crept on her face, as she grabbed the blanket closer to her face. 

Lucian saw the expression on her face and laughed out unknowingly. '' I didn't, Yula helped you with it'' he answered.

'' Y_yesterday__ what happened yesterday Lucian?'' Anna asked as she shot a glare at his face. '' You don't need to think about that Aria, I'm concern is your health, you cut your legs because of me, and you starved yourself as well.'' He said.

    '' Do you want me to fire Yula? Is she not doing her job? Why don't you eat breakfast before leaving the house?'' he raised his voice, and she took it as him being concerned about her, whereas Lucain was trying to find out if Yula was truly working as a spy for Anna, just as Alisa has told him.

'' No no, please don't sack her. She does her job so well. It's my bad, I had refused to eat before going out, the fault is mine'' she answered in fear, it was displayed all over her blue eyes. '' Haha__ Alisa was right, if she was not working for Anna, then why couldn't she allow me to fire her'' he crossed his eyes and squinted at her.

'' Yula would come to get you ready soon, our weddingg is just a stone throne, we need to shop, hence Yula would be coming with us, okay?'' he dropped his legs to the floor, smirked strangely and charged out of the room.

Anna sat upright, reflecting on last night. '' What could be the reason, Lucian was so furious?'' She frowned. Yula showed up in the room, she sighed deeply.

'' Yula are you alright? I saw you crying last night'' Anna frowned, studying her eyes. She was good at reading eyes. '' I'm sorry I failed you'' she bowed her head. '' You failed me? What do you mean Yula, I'm confused'' Anna held his hands, pulling her to the bed. 

'' But are you fine now? You passed out last night, you have to promise me to never skip breakfast before I would tell you, about what transpired yesterday.'' Anna was tight-lipped, she couldn't help but promise never to skip breastfast.

'' That's better. So, I think Alisa knew about our plans and turned it against us'' Yula said. '' How was that possible? Tell me everything Yula'' Anna's blue eyes camouflage into red, there was a mixture of two colours in her beautiful eyes, making it a bit dirty.

'' I can't tell how she found out about our plans, she found the camera you fixed in the room, she turned it against us, saying you were spying on Lucian, and I am one of your agent you uses as well''  Yula said.

Anna swiftly rose up on her feet, stunned. '' How could she!'' Anna's hands clenched into fist, she closed the distance between her and the mirror, she was so furious. Yula has never seen her this furious before. 

'' Yula, I need you to continue from where you stopped earlier, tell me what happened to his parents, tell me everything that you know about them, please'' Anna asked politely. Running towards the door, she shut it tightly.

'' I can't tell you all Anna, that is not possible. I don't want to be in trouble, that I can't get myself out'' Yula tremble.

'' Please know that you are doing this for Lucian, you are helping him realized the truth, Yula'' Anna pleaded, she begged like it was very valuable to her, or she needed the information to survive.

Yula saw the emotions in her eyes. '' Yes, I would tell you'' Yula sat back on the bed, Anna moved away from the mirror, she seemed impatient to know.

After some hours of Yula narrating everything to her, she was in tartness and devastated. '' How could Alisa do such a thing?'' She fought back the tears threatening to roll down her cheek. 

'' This is so bad, that Lucian didn't know this about his parents, and all he did was to live with lies all his life'' she groaned in pains, she felt tightness in her chest she has never experienced before. 

'' What does she hope to gain from this Yula?'' Anna lips were in tremor.
