Chapter 15.

**(Freya's POV)**

I panicked when they were told that Sia and Gia weren't at their school. The driver who usually picks them up said that when he came there, they were gone.

I was scared to death. Feeling very worried because this was the first time something like this had happened. Moreover, they suddenly disappeared and no one knew where they were.

Eric and I went straight to Gia and Sia's school. While in the car, I couldn't stop being nervous and worried. My hands were shaking, and my face was already deathly pale, but Eric was always trying to calm me down.

But I still couldn't calm down when I found out my son was missing!

Arriving at school, I went straight to his homeroom teacher.

"Excuse me, I'm Sia and Gia's mom. I heard they weren't at school when my driver picked them up to go home!" I looked at her with my eyes shaking, as well as my hand as I held the homeroom teacher's hand.

"Oh? But someone already picked them up and said that you were the one who told him to. That's why we let him take them away," she replied.

"What?! How could you just let them go without checking his identity first!" I shouted with exploding anger.

"But he said that he was their father. And Sia and Gia know him too."

"D-Dad?" I covered my mouth in disbelief. My face turned pale. "W-what's his name?"

"Um, Ash? Yes, if I remember correctly, his name is Ash."

"Freya? Are you okay?" I felt both of Eric's hands holding my body as I lost my balance.

"It's Ash. He took my daughters, Eric," I said in a shaky voice.

"Ash? You mean, your ex-husband?"

"Yes, yes. He took my children!" I screamed in terror. I cried without being able to help it. My tears spilled out. My body was shaking with fear.

Just then, I heard my cell phone ring. I saw Ash's name appear on the phone screen and with a burst of anger, I took his call.

"Give me back my children, Ash!!!" I shouted. My hands clenched into fists while I sobbed with tears streaming down my face.

"You don't have to worry so much, Freya. They're with me. They're safe," I heard his voice, making me even more angry and hateful.

"Safe? You said, safe?!" I snapped, "You kidnapped them! I'll report you to the police if you don't return them to me immediately, Ash!"

"Come here if you want them back, Freya. Right now they're at my house," he says, "but you have to come alone."

"You're crazy," I hissed.

"I'll wait for you, Freya."

I swore loudly as Ash abruptly ended their phone call.

"Freya, what's wrong? Sia and Gia are fine, right?" Eric asked. He looked at me with a worried expression on his face. Holding my body with his strength.

"He told me to pick them up at his house," I said in a weakened voice.

"What? No! I'll come with you. It's dangerous if you go alone. What if he does something bad to you?"

"He wants me to come alone, Eric."

"But, Freya...."

"It's okay. I can handle it. Just take me to his house."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." I nodded. Trying to be strong.

Eric drove me to the front gate of Ash's house. Although he insisted on going inside at first, I refused. I don't want Ash to do something bad to Sia and Gia if you don't do as he says.

I went straight into the house. And right after Ash opened the door for me, I slapped him hard across the face.

"You bastard!" I yelled. I glared at him, but he just stared at me.

"You've come."

"How dare you kidnap my daughters, huh?!" I pushed his body. I hit his chest hard, but he still didn't move. "I'll kill you if you hurt them. Do you understand? I'll kill you!" I shouted.

"They're my children too. I have the right to meet them."

"You're crazy! They are not your children. Don't you dare call them your children in front of me, Ash," I threatened. I pointed at his face with exploding anger. With my eyes filled with hate. "I will never give you the cooperation you want. Never! So stop doing this nonsense because I've had enough of your behavior!"

"I don't care, Freya."

I gasped. Glaring as he pulls me into his arms.

"What are you doing!? Let go of me, asshole!" I shouted.

I tried to rebel, but his strength was above me. Both his hands are wrapped tightly around my waist. Pressing my body against his. I punched his chest, pushed his body, even scratched him, but he still wouldn't let go of me.

"Let go of me, Ash! Are you out of your mind? I already have a boyfriend!" I shouted still trying to push Ash's body.

"I told you I don't care. Whether you currently hate me, or you have a boyfriend, I don't care. Because forever, you're only mine, Freya," he whispered right in my face.

I shudder in horror. My eyes sharpen with the hate I feel.

I try to push his body away as he brings his face closer to mine. Trying to kiss me forcefully. I rebelled, screaming in fear.

I stomped on his feet until I heard him groan in pain, then I slapped him hard across the face.

"You bastard, Ash!" I shouted.

I ran into the house, looking for Sia and Gia. Until I found them in one of the rooms, playing with some toys in their hands.

"Sia, Gia!" I ran to them. Hugging them tightly. My body was trembling with fear and gratitude. “Are you guys, okay?”

“Yes, Mom!”

I didn't know what Ash was thinking until he dared to take Sia and Gia secretly like this. But I swear I won't let this happen again. Let alone forgive his actions.

"What are you guys doing here, hm? Didn't I tell you not to go with strangers? Why aren't you listening to me at all?"

"But, Mom. He's a good uncle. He gave us food and toys. And invites us to his house."

Hearing them boast about Ash somehow made me feel very upset and hate him even more.

"He's not a good uncle. This is the last warning. Don't go out with strangers again. Do you understand? Or will I be very angry with you two?" I said, looking at them one by one. My hands did not let go of their hands. Although trembling, I grasped their hands tightly.

"Yes, we understand. Please forgive us."

"Yes, alright. Let's get out of here!"

I took them to leave the house and Ash stood at the door. Blocking our way.

"Get out of my way. You're in my way," I snapped with narrowed eyes.

"Freya..."

"Shut your mouth and don't talk to me again," I cut him off, "look, I'll never cooperate with you and I'll make sure you get a police warrant if you dare kidnap them again.

"Must you behave like this?"

"Behave like this?!" I shouted in disgust. "You took away my children. Luckily, I haven't called the police to arrest you, Ash."

"I just wanted to see them and spend some time with them. I have every right to do so."

"Who do you think you are?!" I snapped. "You're nobody to them and stop acting like you're their father."

"Freya, stop overreacting..."

"Yes, I should!" I cut him off. My eyes glare at him. "Because they are my children and I already have a boyfriend. So stop interfering in our lives!" I snapped.

"You think I believe you? I know they are my children, Freya."

I gasped in shock at his words.
