Chapter 18.

**(Freya's POV)**

I gasped in shock when I saw Ash there. In the living room while looking straight at me. I immediately glared at him because he had dared to come to my house.

"What are you doing here?" I asked in a stern tone. I glared sharply as I walked over to him and he immediately stood up.

I was so afraid that he would do something to me or Sia and Gia. He had dared to take them away without my knowledge, so he must have dared to do more than that. And that kept me on edge all the time.

Even though I knew I could defend myself with the power I had, I couldn't because I was disguised as a human. And I didn't want everyone to know that I was an alien or else my life and the lives of my two daughters would be in danger.

"You'd better get out of here because I don't want to see your face again! And don't you dare come to disturb my life? If you still dare to do so, I'll really report you to the police to have them arrest you!" I shouted. I saw him looking at me with a serious face.

I saw that he was carrying a brown envelope in his right hand. I don't know what it was, but I had a bad feeling and I didn't like seeing him in my house.

"I'm not leaving until we talk," he insisted.

"There's nothing we need to talk about anymore, Ash."

"There is, and it's a very important talk," he said. He walked closer to me and I reflexively stepped back because I didn't want to get close to him.

"STOP BOTHERING ME, ASH!" I shouted.

He shook his head, still insisting on talking to me. "I told you, I'm not leaving until we talk. You have to listen to me," he told me.

"You're the one who should listen to me!" I snapped. "Our relationship is over in the past and I have no desire to reminisce or even relive the past, so get out of here before I call the guards to forcibly drag you out of my house," I threatened. I looked at him sharply. Both my hands were clenched tightly.

"You can't do that."

"Yes, I can," I threatened.

He snorted. "How long are you going to be like this, huh?" he asked irritably.

"What do you mean!" I shouted.

"You think I don't know what you've been hiding from me all this time?" He looked at me sharply and angrily.

"Hide? What are you talking about? Stop talking nonsense and get out of here!" I snapped. I had to point at the exit with my hand raised in the air.

I was about to leave to call the guard, but he immediately took out a paper from inside the envelope and released it at me.

"Stop pretending, because I already know all your lies, Freya!" he exclaimed.

I widened my eyes in surprise as my gaze fell on the paper that had fallen to the floor with the words DNA Test Results at the very top. My heart is beating very fast and my body is shaking. I felt like I had just been hit by a boulder which made my chest feel very tight.

I couldn't move and my lips were hanging out until I dropped my gaze to Ash and he looked at me sharply. A gaze full of explosive anger and disappointment.

"I took Sia and Gia's hair to do a DNA test. And you know what the results are? Ninety-nine percent down they are my children." He clenched his hands into fists. His eyes were red with anger. The veins tightened all over his neck as he snapped at me very loudly. "How could you hide such an important fact from me, huh!? You pretended that they weren't my children and you've been lying to me all this time!"

"You...." I clenched both hands to hold back my exploding temper.

He even went to such lengths just to prove that Sia and Gia were his children. I couldn't wrap my head around his thinking. She didn't even feel guilty about what she had done in the past and was now acting like a hurt person.

"What else are you trying to say? You can't fool me anymore because there's already proof, Freya. They are my children," he insists.

I glared at him. "I don't care if you do a DNA test or whatever. They still won't be your children."

"You still dare to say that they're not my children?!" he shouted in annoyance.

"You should be ashamed, Ash. What you've done in the past, to me and them. And you still dare to insist and claim that they're your children? Now?" I snorted in annoyance. "You forced me to abort my pregnancy and now you're acting like you're a good father to them? Don't make me laugh!"

He fell silent. His hands were clenched into fists. His eyes sharpened as he looked at me.

"Legally, they are my children. And whatever you do, it won't change anything. Because forever, they are not your children!" I shouted.

I gasped as he grabbed both my hands. Pulling me until I hit his chest.

"Listen, Freya. I don't care if you have more power or money than I do now, but I'm not letting you or them go. Because now I know that they are my daughters. I'm not going to just let them go."

"You're crazy!" I shouted. "Let go of me, Ash!" I glared as he wrapped his burly arms around my waist until I couldn't break free.

"I won't."

"You... you don't deserve to be called a father by them because you never cared about her!" I snapped.

"That's why from now on you are mine. I'm doing this for you, you understand," he hissed, "even if you already have a lover, I don't care, Freya...."

"Right, this is your true nature. From then or now, you've never changed, Ash," I said with a choked breath. "In the past you treated me badly, even telling me to kill them." I smiled wryly. "Back then you didn't even feel guilty at all. You put Stella before me and the baby I was carrying. Divorced me like I was worthless trash. And now you're pretending that we're yours?"

"Is that why you lied to me in the first place?"

"You think I'd be happy if you told me they were your children?" I looked at him sharply. "I would do anything to protect them from someone like you. And please, get out of our lives!" I shouted.

I tried to push his body away, and I succeeded, as I tried to run away from him. He quickly grabbed my hand, pulling me until I was back in his arms.

"Let go of me, Ash!" I shouted hysterically while pounding on his body. Trying to get away from him.

"I won't. Don't expect me to let you go!"

"You're out of your mind! I already have a boyfriend! And I don't want to be in a relationship with a jerk like you!" I snapped, cursing him repeatedly, but he tightened his embrace even more.

"I'll make sure you break up with him and come back to me, Freya."

"You're completely out of your mind!" I glared at him. Trying to push him hard.

I let out a loud squeal as I lost my balance, and so did Ash, causing us to sway to the side.

I closed my eyes. And when I opened them, I was surprised when I fell right on top of him with our lips touching.

"Wh-what are you two doing?"

My eyes widened as I saw my friend and my two daughters there staring at us.
