Chapter 17.

**(Freya's POV)**

I cursed silently many times on the way back home. My anger was exploding and I couldn't stop it. Even if I wanted to, my mind continued to be muddled with all the hatred that was growing towards Ash.

He had dared to take Sia and Gia away secretly and brought them to his house. Even to the point of threatening me to come there myself to pick her up.

He seemed to have gone mad. He was so selfish and arrogant that he didn't think about my feelings when he took Sia and Gia away. Kept saying that they were his children. While he felt no remorse for what he had done in the past.

I'm sick of seeing him being so considerate to me and my daughters. He was just a heartless human being.

"Damn it!" I slammed the steering wheel of the car while swearing loudly. I would never let Ash meet my daughters again. Let alone take him away and spend time with them.

I sighed heavily, trying to calm myself down. I didn't want to stay angry while Sia and Gia were sitting in the backseat. I twitched my fingers, trying to use my power to keep me calm.

But I gasped in shock when the hydrant on the side of the road suddenly exploded and released a lot of water, causing one of the cars that was passing by to swerve in surprise. I reflexively stopped my car as well.

"Mom? Is everything okay?" I heard a frightened voice coming from Sia and Gia. I turned to them with my pale face.

"Yes, everything is fine. Mommy's just a little surprised," I said. I looked down at my hands.

My heart was beating very fast. It was unusual for me to lose control in using my powers. Even this was just a Healing power and when I used it, I almost hurt someone.

Is it because I've been on Earth for so long that my powers have become uncontrollable? I feel like my power is getting weaker. And it seems like my power is almost back. And it's much better if I use it often.

I don't know what has happened to me. It's frustrating and I can't think straight.

Damn, it. This is all because of Ash.

If he hadn't been selfish and taken Sia and Gia away. I wouldn't be restless and scared like this.

Why do we have to meet again after our separation? I had been living happily with Sia and Gia, making sure that I could complete my mission and return to my planet soon. But everything was destroyed after I met Ash again.

Arriving home, I immediately took Sia and Gia to their room. They had been quiet since before, seemingly understanding the situation that I was furious about.

I told them to sit on the edge of the bed. And I knelt down in front of them, looking at them with a serious expression on my face.

"Is Mommy mad at us?" asked Sia with her eyes dimmed.

"Yes, I am very mad. Didn't I warn you not to talk to strangers? Let alone go with them," I reminded.

"Yes, we know. But he's a good uncle...."

"Gia, he's not a good uncle! And he's not our family. I told you, it's dangerous to go with strangers. You could get hurt," I said in an angry tone. I was completely out of control. And this was all because of Ash. "Do you know how scared and worried I was when I found out you weren't home? I looked everywhere for you and your homeroom teacher told me that you left with someone."

They looked at me with a guilty expression. Then I looked down, afraid to meet my eyes as I glared at them.

"Sia, Gia. I'm doing this because I love you both. I don't want anything bad to happen to you. If that happens, Mommy can't forgive me." I held their tiny hands.

"Yes, we know, Mom. We're sorry."

"Don't ever do it again, okay? Don't ever see him or talk to him!"

"But... he was very kind to us. He even bought us toys and ice cream."

"Mommy can buy them for you. What do you want? Say it, but please, stop seeing him. If he comes back, I don't ever want to go out with him. Do you understand? He's a bad person. He could hurt both of you."

"But, he's our father. He couldn't have hurt us," Sia said in a low voice.

I gasped in shock. My eyes widened at Sia's words. My heart was beating very fast, but it was the beating of fear.

"W-Who said that he was your father?" I asked in a trembling voice. "Did he say that he was your father?!"

Sia shook her head. "No, he didn't. But...." She pulled something out of her pants pocket. "We saw Mommy's picture and he was here. This is the same wedding photo as Mommy's friend, right?"

I was struck by lightning when I saw my wedding photo with Ash in Sia's hand. I grabbed it roughly and looked at them with a terrified expression.

"No, it's not. That's not true," I said in a stammering voice. "That's not the wedding photo and it's not me. So, stop talking about it. Because he's not your father. Do you understand?"

"But..."

"Don't protest! If I say that he's not your father, then he's not! And next time don't ever meet him again. Or I will be very angry with you. Do you understand?!"

"Yes, Mommy. We understand," Sia and Gia said simultaneously.

I squeezed the photo with anger.

"Then get dressed and take a shower," I said to them.

I walked out of their room and looked back at the photo. Where did they get this photo from? Did Ash give it to them on purpose and let them see it?

Why did he have to do something like this?

"I can't stand all his annoying behavior anymore," I growled.

I picked up my cell phone. Send him a message saying that he can't bother Sia and Gia anymore or I'll charge him with kidnapping.

I went back to my room. Trying to regain my composure and think things through. What should I do to stop Ash from bothering me anymore? I even turned off my phone after I sent that message to Ash so he wouldn't bother me.

I wasn't in a good mood to fight with him again. My emotions, and my energy had been exhausted since earlier. And right now all I had left was anxiety and fear of losing Sia and Gia.

"Excuse me, Miss Freya." I turned to the door as I heard the servant knocking on my door.

I opened it. "What is it?" I asked.

"There's a guest here to see you," she informed me.

"Guests? At this time of night?" I furrowed my brow.

"Yes, he said he..."

"Oh, wait. Looks like it's my friend. He said he wanted to come to the house," I cut her off. "Tell him to wait in the living room. I'll change my clothes for a while," I said, then.

"Alright, Miss Freya."

I then went back inside my room and changed my clothes before I went downstairs to meet him.

However, when I walked into the living room, I was surprised to see Ash sitting there.

"Wh-what are you doing here?!"
