Chapter 11
I woke as pleasure curled in my lower belly. Warm hands moved over my body, teasing my breasts, and moving up my thighs. The hands spread sparks against my skin. The pleasurable feeling coiled more tightly in anticipation as the hands moved further up my thighs. Groaning, I stretched, my eyes shot open when my legs barely moved.
I was in the car still fully dressed, I realized. My face heated as I took in the men around me. Sten, Rune and Erik were staring at me with hooded eyes, while Frode gripped the steering with white knuckles. I shifted and cringed when I felt how damp my panties were.
Erik leaned closer and ran the tip of nose up my exposed neck to my ear. His breath warm on my skin. My eyes fluttered closed as his lips met my skin and I inhaled sharply. I felt his lips open, and he sucked my skin gently into his mouth. I groaned and moved my head to the side giving him better access.
Rune’s warm hand settled on my knee and moved slowly up my leg, reminding me of my dream. I squeeze my thighs together and shifted them, trying to relieve the building pressure in my core.
“Stay still.” Erik murmured in my ear just before he pulled the lobe into his mouth and bit down just hard enough it caused pressure.
A harsh curse from the front seat had my flicking my eyes open and taking in Frode and Sten. Sten was palming himself in the passenger, while he chewed on his bottom lip. Frode sat tensely in the driver’s seat, spewing curses, and muttering to himself.
“Don’t mind him, he’s just jealous.” Erik said, before kissing his way back down my neck.
Frode let a growl be heard as Erik’s warm hand rested on my waist under my shirt. Their touch was intoxicating and made me forget where we are.
Suddenly, we were thrown into the seatbelt as Frode slammed on the breaks. Thank the goddess we were one a road with no traffic, because the car slid to a stop in the middle of the lane rather quickly. He turned, his eyes filled with hunger and rage.
“Let’s keep our hands to ourselves.” He growled, turning back to the road, and getting the car moving again.
Erik gave me one last kiss on my neck before moving to my mouth. I met Frode’s glare in the rearview mirror as he growled. I smiled apologetically and gently pushed Erik back into his seat, taking his hand.
“Sorry.” I told Frode.
“Not a problem except I can’t concentrate when your smell is filling the cabin of the car and unfortunately concentration is needed while driving.” He grumbled.
We drove for a while in a comfortable silence for the next few hours, and soon was on the outskirts of the town where my vision took place. As we drew near, I felt more drawn to the area, and found myself fidgeting in my seat.
“For goddess’s sake, Astrid, sit still. All I can think of when you squirm like that is how you’ll be moving that way when you sit on my cock.” Erik grumbled from beside me.
My face heated at the thought of that. It was getting harder and harder to not act on the thoughts that popped in my head about these four, making it hard to keep my hands to myself. The dreams of us together also didn’t help. They were so vivid, so real that sometimes I doubted they were dreams and thought that they were visions of what would happen between us in the future.
“I’m sorry I can’t help it. I’m feeling restless. Can we get out and walk around for a little bit?” I asked Frode.
“We’re almost there, little one.” Frode replied, not slowing the car.
His answer only made me more restless. More needy to get out of the car.
“Frode, pull over.” Sten said, his voice stern.
Frode looked at him with confusion marring his face, but did as Sten commanded. I was unbuckled, opening the door, and crawling over Erik’s lap before the car had completely stopped. I couldn’t explain why, but I had to get out of the car. It was like I was being pulled.
“Astrid!” Erik exclaimed as I fell to the dirt on the side of the road in my haste to escape the car.
I got to my feet and started walking into the woods.
“Astrid where are you going?” yelled Rune as he came around the car and followed me.
I didn’t answer and kept moving. I couldn’t stop, I felt like I was finally where I was supposed to be going. I heard my mates trudging through the woods trying to keep up with me.
“Just follow her.” Sten said, his voicing seeming closer than the others.
I heard someone sigh, but they all listened to Sten. We walked for about twenty minutes when I came to a stop so quickly that Sten bumped into me, his hands stabilizing me as they gripped my arms. I barely recognized the clearing we were in.
It was clean, no blood or gore in sight. But it still felt like it had in my vision. Dark and terrifying. I turned to Sten.
“Can you feel it?” I asked him, knowing that he could pick up on emotions and feelings.
“No, I only feel things as they are being felt, or sometimes after someone leaves and felt something strong enough to leave an imprint. Whatever you saw in your vision hasn’t happened yet, but I have a feeling it will soon if you were drawn here.” Sten replied, wrapping his arms around me and holding me securely to his chest.
Rune stood and lifted his nose, like he was picking up a scent. He walked further into the clearing and then moved around it before coming back to stand before us.
“I only smell humans, nothing supernatural. Could be hunters. Maybe I’ll be able to pick their scents up from town. Let’s go back to Frode. He’s waiting.” Rune said as he took my hand and pulled me from Sten’s grasp.
We walked back in silence. I noticed Frode leaning against the car, but he stood up alert once we got close.
“What happened, did you find something?” He asked.
“She took us to the clearing, but what she saw hasn’t happened yet.” Erik said, opening the back door for Rune to slide into.
“I tried picking up a scent but only got humans. But I’ll recognize anything if they are in town.” Rune said as slid across the back seat.
I followed and Erik climbed in behind me. Sten and Frode each got into the car and Frode started driving again.
“So, we got here before it happened. Your visions are changing from the past to the future.” Frode said, meeting my gaze in the rearview mirror.
“Or maybe from the present to the future.” Sten supplied with a shrug.
I processed what they told me in silence for a few moments before I spoke.
“So does that mean that we can stop it from happening?” I asked, hope ringing in my voice.
“It will be hard to recognize the victim from that the vision.” Rune said with a shudder.
I frowned at his words. He wasn’t wrong though, there had been so much blood and gore. I had trouble trying to focus on the body. Either the identifying features had been destroyed, or they were covered well.
“But could I sense it like I did the clearing?” I asked.
“Maybe.” Sten said, turning to look at me.
He took me in with an unreadable expression.
“Let’s get to the bed and breakfast and get some food and we regroup after.” Frode said, as he drove under an arch that read “Unity Bed and Breakfast”.
“Remember, we are in a human town. No talking of shifting or magic.” Erik said quietly as he leaned over to unbuckle himself.
I nodded my understanding. We all piled out and Frode checked us in as Erik and Sten grabbed our bags. Frode came out and held up a key and we all made our way inside. A short and round older lady smiled at us as we walked past the check in podium and started up the stairs. Frode stopped in front of a door with a gold number 3 on it. He unlocked the door and handed another key to Erik, who unlocked the door next Frode’s door.
Frode grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. Sten quickly followed and shut the door behind us before anyone could follow. I heard Rune growl, but then heard him shuffle to follow Erik. Sten locked the door and stepped aside as Frode turned on me and pressed me against it.
“Do you have any idea how hard it was to not wreck the car as I listened to your soft sound and your sweet aroma filled that damn SUV? How much it tested my control to have them touching you, making you make those sounds and smells while I had to keep my hands on the wheel?” He asked, his nose pressed into my neck.
Frode stepped aside and let Sten stand beside him in front of me. Frode’s arm dropped and Sten’s hand replaced his on my hip. Frode’s lips moved up my neck and across my jaw until they hovered over my lips. His eyes found mine, like he was looking for permission. I closed my eyes and parted my lips only a second before his crashed down onto mine. His hand wrapped around the back of my head, holding me in place as he devoured my mouth. Sten’s hand moved up my side until he reached the band of my bra and started following it around to the cup that cradled my breast.
A hard knock sounded at the door behind us.
My mates ignored it. Frode continued kissing, his tongue exploring my mouth. Sten’s hand slipped under the wire of my bra and found my hard nipple. He pinched it gently between two of his fingers, pulling a groan from me that Frode swallowed.
The knock repeated.
Frode growled loudly, and moved his lips from mine, trailing down the other side of my jaw and down my neck. His lips found the point where my neck turned into should and he sucked the skin into his mouth, making me arch into his mouth and Sten’s hand.
Another knock rang through the room.
Frode growled, but back away, pulling Sten with him. He kissed me quickly on my lips and pulled me from the door, leaving me panting while I stood in front of Sten who wrapped his arm around me.
“What?” He demanded as he cracked the door.
I could smell Rune and Erik.
“We’re hungry, let’s find some food.” Rune said, his voice practically a whine.
“Then get some food and bring it back for all of us.” Frode said.
“Why don’t we find a diner where can sit and eat?” Erik suggested.
“We just got of the car, go get something and bring it back, we’ll eat together.” Frode spat back and started closing the door.
Erik’s foot stopped the door from closing. Frode looked at it and growled, before meeting his eyes.
“She’s not leaving this room while she still smells aroused. What if a rogue is out there?” Frode whisper yelled at his brother.
Erik froze and then nodded.
“We’ll be back in about half an hour. Just don’t mate her without us.” Erik growled as he spun on his heel.
Frode closed the door and leaned his forehead against it, taking a deep breath before turning to face me. His dark gaze moved up and down my body and he pushed off the door.
“Let’s find a movie to watch while we wait for them to get back.” He said, grabbing my hand as he brushed past us.
Sten smacked my butt as I moved away from him, making me shoot him a glare over my shoulder. He grinned and shrugged as he climbed on the bed beside us. Both men lay so they were pressed to my side, but they kept their hands to themselves.
“Stop thinking about it, Astrid. We can’t take you now, especially not without Erik and Rune. But I don’t want that to happen here. I want privacy and don’t want you to be too embarrassed to scream as we make you orgasm time after time.” He said, pressing a kiss to my lips.
My face heated at his words. No one had ever talked to me like these guys did, and I had to admit I liked it a little too much. I turned my attention to the movie they’d put on and focused on it, pushing thoughts of mating, and touching from my mind as we waited for our food to come.
