chapter 85
Following the episode.
“Are you okay, Jolene?” Liam asked. Jolene stood up from her seat with a nod.
“Ma’am, please allow me to help you,” Sally said.
“No, no need,” Jolene said emphatically.
“However, ma’am, that was q-,” Sally was going to say something when Farru yelled angrily.
“Can’t you do any task properly?” said Farru, enraged.
Farru drew the attention of Jolene and Liam.
“What brings you back here?” “Didn’t I tell you not to show your face to me?” Farru shouted.
Sally lowered her gaze to hide her tears. Farru approached her cautiously and gazed at her.
Farru: Do you even know anything except crying? Do you have any more abilities?
“It’s enough, dude,” Liam remarked.
“Liam, you don’t talk because it’s all your fault and this gir-,” Farru was about to say when Sally interrupted him.
“I didn’t do anything,” Sally stated abruptly as she raised her head to face Farru.
Sally’s point of view.
Why? Why does he do this to me all the time? Why does he hate me so much? But, I am unable to bear this. I can’t. It’s really hurting me.
I breathed deeply and gazed deeply into his eyes. Yes, I did glance into his bright blue eyes. I had to interrupt him.
“I didn’t do anything,” I told him, my gaze fixed on him. He narrowed his gaze, but remained silent.
“I didn’t do anything. Mr. Farru, why do you always think I make mistakes?
“Did I truly do anything that you hate, sir?” I asked.
……
Farru squinted his eyes when he heard Sally. In the meantime, Musa and Ken came after hearing the ruckus.
“What’s going on?” Musa asked, his gaze falling on them.
Sally shifted her gaze away from Farru and bent her head when she heard him. “Uncle, it’s only a blunder,” Liam said.
“What?” Musa asked, his gaze falling on Farru.
“Actually, Jolene spilled coffee over her outfit,” Liam said.
“Sir, it’s my responsibility to not notice, and I should have been more cautious,” Sally remarked.
“Hey, I said that was OK.” “It’s not your fault,” Jolene said abruptly.
“No, ma’am, you are Sir’s most cherished guest, and I have offended you.”
So it’s also my responsibility to look after you, but I didn’t do so, “Sally said. Then she turned to Musa and said, “Sir, punish me.” I didn’t take proper care of her.“
“What are you saying, Sally?” Liam said.
Sally didn’t respond and continued to gaze down. Musa listened to everything and then said quietly, “Are you guys done?”
Everyone stared at each other, but Farru shifted his gaze away from them to the side.
“Sally, it was an accident, therefore it wasn’t your fault.” “Now go help her get dressed,” Musa said. “Ma’am, please come with me,” Sally requested with a small bow of her head. Jolene nodded and moved in the direction of Sally.
Sally shifted her gaze to Farru, who was staring in the opposite direction, before leaving. He appeared enraged.
Sally reluctantly dropped her gaze and went away.
After they left, Musa called his name, “Farru.” Farru did not respond to his father and continued to stare at the other side. “Farru, I know you have grievances against that girl,” Musa murmured.
Farru looked at Musa and asked, “Dad, what are you saying?” Why do I have resentment for her? “Can you tell me who she is?”
Musa: I’m wondering the same thing: who is she? What’s the matter with you and her?
Farru drew his attention away from his father and narrowed his eyes.
Musa: don’t be like this, Farru. She didn’t hurt us in any way. I chose her because I saw something in her that I liked. You can rely on your father for this.
As Musa said, he walked out of there.
“Dude, this time you really overreacted,” Liam murmured. Farru slumped back in his chair, his eyes focused. “Why do you hate her?” Liam asked.
Farru: Liam, I’m not in the mood to talk. Please have someone bring me coffee.
Farru spoke with a fatigued tone.
“Dude, she simply decided to come with us because of you, “Liam sighed and walked out of the room. Faru was glancing down his road.
Farru’s point of view.
Damn! I just do not want any people in Italy. And for me? Why? What does she think of herself?
You guys have an unusual ability to trust others. And that girl, Sally! Does she even know what’s going on in our world? She has a naive appearance. Did she ever see any blood? Did she ever witness a murder? So, what do we do with her?
But when she raised her voice, I was taken aback. What gives her the right to do that?
Farru tossed the magazine on the floor as he considered this.
In the ladies’ room.
Sally was assisting Jolene with her dress washing. Sally was washing that part when Jolene gave her a sidelong glance. Jolene changed her clothes and approached the sink to wash her hands. “Hey, I’m sorry about that,” she said as she washed.
“It’s OK, ma’am,” Sally said as she was washing. “Mr. Farru sorta doesn’t like you,” Jolene said again, pressing her lips together. “Why?”
When Jolene posed the question, Sally took a break from cleaning.
Sally’s Aside.
Why is she asking about this? There is nothing wrong with her, whether he dislikes or admires me. Then?
“Did you mind?” Jolene asked again. Sally said, with a smile on her face, “Why should I be bothered? Sir may dislike my appearance, which is why he dislikes me.”
Jolene gave me a friendly smile as she looked at me. “But I didn’t spot anything in your face,” she remarked abruptly. “You have a lovely figure.”
Sally acted as if she didn’t hear what she was saying and added, “I spruced up your outfit, ma’am.”
“I’m going to prepare another cup of coffee, and I’m hoping there won’t be any accidents this time.”
Jolene nodded when she heard from Sally, and Sally then departed. Jolene gazed in the mirror at herself.
Jolene’s point of view.
Wow, she just downplayed what her heart is telling her to do. Her love for Farru shows through in her eyes. So how could Farru miss that? Or maybe boys are unconcerned with those who adore them.
Anyway, this isn’t my work. I need to concentrate on completing my task. One of my options is Musa, and the other is Farru. However, based on Farru’s reaction, I believe it will not take me long to lure him into my trap.
Jolene smirked as she reapplied lipstick to her pout.
