I looked down from the second floor as soon as I heard Liam's voice.
Liam remarked as he lowered his head and steepled his fingers.
Liam: Farru, go to your room. I'll handle everything here.
I sighed aloud and turned to face my dad again. He appeared a little tense and anxious. I'm sure it'll happen. He always fretted about me. Maybe he hadn't shown me before, but I was definitely on his mind.
I approached him with a tiny, close-lipped smile. "Dad, we have a lot to speak about," I murmured, touching his arm. " Give me a few minutes, and I'll join you."
I want to talk to my dad about this right now. Our relationship won't ever be good if we don't open up now. In some ways, after that night, I experienced emptiness as well. We haven't spoken in such a long time.
