chapter 68[2]
Sally’s Aside.
What hospital? Is there anyone there? What’s the matter? Then I noticed Sir’s palm was covered in blood. Blood? In panic, my heart began to race at a breakneck pace. What happened to them? Why haven’t they shown up? Is it true that something happened to them?
Musa sighed and said, “Bella.” “Everyone is safe and sound.” Liam had just gotten a minor wound on his arm. They’ll be back tomorrow. You just sent a cup of black coffee to my room. “My brain is exploding with pain,” Musa said.
“Sure sir,” Bella responded, as she was ready to walk into the kitchen when she noticed Sally. She was listening carefully to what they were saying. Bella called her simply “Sally.” Sally responded with a nod. “Follow me,” she replied, gesturing for her to do so.
Sally began following Bella as she said. Bella and Sally entered the kitchen. “Big ma’am, what’s wrong?” Sally asked the senior maid. “Is Farru Sir all right?”
“They’re all well, except Liam, sir, has a slight injury on his hand,” Bella said, shrugging. “Oh,” I said, looking down.
Sally’s Aside.
Now I see why Liam Sir urged me to prepare myself. If I truly want to live with that man, I must learn a variety of skills, the most essential of which is how to defend myself and him. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
I’m all set. Yes, I am ready. If it’s possible for me to stay with you for a second because of this, I’ll do it with a smile. “Senior ma’am.,“ I said unexpectedly.
She said, “Yes,” while making coffee. “I want to go with them,” I responded quickly.
“What?” she asked, her eyes furrowed. “yeah.” “Actually, Liam Sir told me to be ready if I wanted to go with them,” I said. “Are you sure about it?” “Senior, ma’am?” she questioned after a few moments of staring at me. “Are you aware of how risky it is?”
“Yes ma’am, I made my mind,” I said after a brief pause. “I shall serve them with all of my heart.” “All right,” she answered with a casual nod.
I know you’re worried about me, but I’m desperate to be with him. I breathed deeply and was about to take the tray.
“Sally, you don’t have to go upstairs,” senior ma’am. remarked, stopping me. “I’m going.” I asked her in a shocked tone, “Why, ma’am?” Did I make a mistake? “ “No, you didn’t,” she responded with a nod. “I have an urgent matter to discuss with sir.” She grabbed the tray and headed upstairs, just as she stated. I was glancing at her path.
‘knock’, ‘knock’.
“Sir, may I come in?” Bella asked. Musa responded, “Yes, come in.” Bella entered through the front door. Musa sat in his ease-chair, tying his robe. Bella placed the tray on the table and turned to face Musa. “Do you need anything?” “Musa said as he accepted the cup.
Bella said, “Yes, sir.” Musa regarded her with interest. Bella remarked, “Sir, Liam, Sir, wants to take Sally to Italy.” “What?” Musa responded in a surprised tone, “What?” “What are you trying to say?” Bella said, “Yes sir, Sally just informed me.”
Musa’s Aside.
Why? Liam didn’t say anything to me. Did Liam tell that to Ken? But even if he did, Ken didn’t say anything to me about it. “Did that girl say anything else about this?” I said, looking up at Bella.
She said, “No sir.” I asked, “Did Liam spend nights with her?” “No, sir,” Bella said emphatically. “Call that girl here,” Musa stated after a time of looking down. “I’d like to speak with her.”
She said, “Yes, sir.”
“And just tell me one thing.” “Is she dependable?” I asked. “Sir, yes.” Yes, she is. “I’ll tell you all the specifics in a minute,” she stated.
Musa nodded in agreement. “All right, sir,” Bella remarked as she walked out of my room. I sighed and rose from my seat.
It’s now a serious issue. I’m really baffled as to why Liam made that decision. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door while I was thinking. “Yes,” I replied.
Then, gazing down, a girl entered my room. “You are Sally?” I said, as I turned to face her. She said, “Y-ye, sir.”
“Tell me what Liam said to you,” I asked. “Sir told me that if I want to go with them, I need to be ready.” Sally added, without looking at me, “And told me to prepare myself and learn a lot of stuff.” “Is that all?” “But what is the reason?” I asked.
Sally took a deep breath and swallowed hard.
Sally’s Aside.
I didn’t know how to tell him that I was in love with his son. I want to commit myself to him and stay with him. I’d want to help him as well. But I believe I must speak up. If I don’t act now, I think he will never let me accompany him.
“Sir, I want to work for this family,” I said, after taking a long breath. “If it comes to protecting this family with my own life, I want to do everything I can to serve them well.” Then I’ll do it with a grin on my face. “
“I’m well aware that I lack the necessary skills. I’m not sure how to use a gun, and I’m not familiar with any technical systems. “But I will learn everything, “I added once again.
Mr. Musa carefully listened to me, then abruptly turned away from me. I looked down and saw him ignoring my words. Then I heard something. “I’ll inform Bella.” Mr. Musa answered, “You may leave now and pack your belongings.”
Hearing him made me happy. So I’m stuck with them. I’ll remain with Mr. Farru. “Thank you, sir,” I responded as I glanced up. I tiptoed out of his room after saying this. I couldn’t believe Mr. Musa would take me in. As I moved closer to my room, I smiled.
