chapter 95 [2]
Everyone was waiting for Jolene, but she never came downstairs. I was looking through my phone. I finally heard her voice after a little while.
Jolene: good morning.
Dad gave her a warm welcome. "Hello Jolene, good morning. "Did you get enough sleep last night?" my dad asked.
I looked up at her because she appeared so joyful. Then I shifted my focus away from her and back to my phone.
Jolene: I slept soundly last night, Mr. Musa. I'm sorry for keeping you guys waiting.
Liam: "Ms. Jolene, it's not an issue." Actually, we like dining with everyone.
Arin aunt began serving me, and I smiled at her before turning to face Jolene. Sally was standing behind her.
"Can we start now?" I asked.
"My son was anxiously awaiting your arrival." "I know he's concerned about his health," dad replied. I gave him a small smile but remained silent.
Jolene: Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Farru; it won't happen again. From this point on, I'll arrive on time.
At the same moment, aunt walked to Jolene's side and began serving her food. When aunt heard Jolene, she remarked, "Next time, just arrive on time." Because my farru dislikes waiting. And in our home, we eat together."
Aunt Arin spoke in a furious manner.
Jolene: "Hmm, I-."
Such remarks were not what Jolene had anticipated. Dad interrupted her as she was about to speak.
Dad: Arin, she's our guest. But I know she won't do it again the next morning. Right, Jolene?
Jolene smiled firmly and focused her attention on her eating. Arin gave her a disapproving glare before leaving her side.
Jolene's point of view.
This is really embarrassing. She is only a servant, and she just gave me orders. I simply can not accept it. But I'm glad that Mr. Musa has common sense, whereas these two people don't.
I took a bite of my meal while focusing my gaze more intently.
Farru's point of view
After breakfast, Dad and Uncle headed to the meeting. We were all three eating. Liam and I were purposefully awaiting Jolene.
We only wanted to speak with her, but due to my dad and uncle, we were unable to do so effectively. Arin aunt was also with us. So I told her, "Aunt, you don't have to stand here. When Sally is present, you may relax. She is capable of serving us. "
"No honey, she's new." I don't think she can appropriately serve you. Furthermore, she is unaware of your preferences, "remarked the aunt.
Sally abruptly replied, politely, "Ma'am, I know what everyone wants." I can handle it here. You may rest. "
Arin said, her brows furrowed in disbelief, "Can you? Do you know what they love?
Sally nodded softly and added, "Yes, I do." Just let me do this today; if I fail, I won't attempt it again. "
Arin aunt glanced at me, waiting for my response. I slowly blinked my eyes and nodded yes. She agreed with me and then left the two of us there.
Jolene suddenly stated while she was chewing.
Jolene: I must say, Sally is really a smart girl. She picks everything up so rapidly. And she looks after me extremely admirably.
Sally approached and poured coffee for Liam and orange juice for me. "That's why me and Uncle chose her," Liam remarked with a smile.
He spoke as he locked his gaze on me. I gave him a stern look.
That was you, brat, I knew it. He smiled heartily and took a sip of his coffee when he observed me in this way.
Jolene: Wow. Liam, you've got eagle eyes. You are aware of which is best.
Liam: "Eh, yes, yes."
He kept a phony smile on his face. But suddenly, Sally remarked with a smile.
Sally: Lady, you're making me blush. It works for me, and it's not a big deal. However, after meeting you, I think you have the potential to be an excellent trainer.
Jolene opened her mouth to take a mouthful, but when she heard Sally, she stopped. She turned to face Sally. It appeared as though someone had just taken her food.
Liam widened his eyes and asked, "What?"
"Yes, Ms," Sally answered, "Just work out without my help." I bit into my sandwich while staring at Jolene. Her smile simply vanished in an instant.
Liam asked, "Ms. Jolene, is that accurate?"
She was surprised when she suddenly heard Liam and began to stutter.
Jolene: i-i.
I finally spoke up. "Ms. Jolene, is that correct?" I remembered that you requested me to be your trainer, "I responded.
'Oh, Mr. Farru.' That is not the case. "Actually, I don't know much about this and I'm not an expert," Jolene remarked.
Sally: Lady, don't be timid. You are quite skilled at this. I was astounded to see you perform so smoothly and flawlessly.
I said, "Wow, that's wonderful, Ms. Jolene."
"Actually, I wasn't a regular member," she answered with a small smile. " I simply visit so regularly."
I nodded with a smile. Jolene abruptly changed the topic. She questioned me while seeming worried.
"Mr. Farru, did you hear any news from them?" she asked.
I remained focused on her adversary for a while before speaking.
"Ms. Jolene, I think we ought to contact the police." "This thing is slipping from our grasp," I said.
Jolene's eyes narrowed, but she didn't appear to be under any stress.
"If that's the case, Mr. Farru, we need to inform the police as soon as possible," she answered.
I discreetly leaned back in my chair and made an effort to watch. I can't even find her because every time I get near to a clue, someone snatches it away from me.
