Chapter 80
Following the episode.
Next morning.
Everyone was downstairs packing their belongings. We’re flying back to Italy today. But first, I have to go to the hospital.
Farru was folding his sleeves as he walked down the hall. On the way Sally and Faru met, he gazed at her, and they both slowed their pace.
I looked at this girl from head to toe. But this girl was looking at the ground. I don’t understand this girl or my dad. What precisely are they trying to accomplish?
“Are you planning on joining us?” I asked. She stared up at me for a moment before gradually looking down. “If something bad happens to you there, we won’t be responsible for it,” I added.
She remained silent. I sighed exasperatedly as I rolled my eyes. This girl is incapable of doing anything. She’s like a statue in this place. My heart sometimes desires to hurl you into the lion’s den. I’m genuinely curious to see what you’ll do at that point. This girl is really useless.
But then my dad called. I turned my attention away from the girl and onto my dad. I went downstairs and said, “Yes, dad.”
“Farru, we need to get there as soon as possible.” “You know, I don’t enjoy being late,” dad explained.
“You guys may go,” I told them.
“Wait, what are you going to do?” Liam asked.
“I have to go to the hospital,” I said.
“Why are you going?” “Our men will take her up,” dad added.
“Dad, I was thinking of sending them as well.” But I thought it wasn’t a good idea. So I’m going to go get her, “I said.
“Is this truly necessary?” my dad asked.
“She saved your life, dad.” She is also from Italy. “Then why don’t we make her fantasy come true, dad, “I said.
“Are you serious, bro?” asked Liam to Farru.
“Are you thinking about something, Farru?” dad asked.
“It’s nothing, dad.” I simply want to securely take her to her home. Now, if you don’t let me go, we’ll be late. “
As I already stated, I did not wait for their response there. If I stay there, I’m sure they’ll start interrogating me. I’m not in the mood right now. I took a step into the car.
Scenario 1.
Mrs. Elise repeatedly called her daughter, “Maria, open the door,” but she did not reply. “What’s wrong with the baby?” mumbled Mrs. Elise. “Why is she not responding?”
Mrs. Elise wrinkled her brow and then began banging violently on the door.
Elise: Maria, open the door.
Inside the room.
Mrs. Elise was pounding on the door with such force, and Maria sat on the bed.
She sat there like a statue the entire night. Her eyes were puffy and inflamed. She was unable to accept her defeat.
Mom was banging on my door, and the sound irritated me terribly. Why is Mom acting in this manner? Mom said she would talk to Daniel’s parents, but she didn’t say anything. Or was she not supposed to do it? But whatever the case may be, only my dad is capable of doing it. He can make you acknowledge anything, and he can make you do anything. I know my dad can only do it. If he puts pressure on Daniel, he’ll agree to come with me.
“Maria!” said Mom. I got out of bed after taking a deep breath. My hair is a complete disaster. I pushed open the door.
‘Clank’
Mom called my name, “Maria,” but I didn’t respond and sat on the bed. My mom rushed over to me and shook my shoulders. “What’s wrong, babe?” she said in a panic. “What’s the deal with you looking so dead?”
I took her hands away from me, but remained silent.
Mom: Maria, what’s the matter, babe? Just tell me.
She stroked her hands together, as if she wanted to know what I was thinking. I closed my eyes and answered, “Mom, call dad.” “Last night, I shattered my phone.”
Mom: Did you break your phone again?
I took a deep breath and turned my head gently. I was exhausted, yet I couldn’t get to sleep.
Why would I want to sleep? It is not the right time to sleep. I’m going to inform my dad first, then I’m going to bed.
Me: Mom, call dad’s phone. I need to speak with him.
Scenario 2.
Jolene gently rose up, and the nurse assisted me in getting dressed.
Nurse: You’re looking very lovely right now.
“Thank you,” Jolene responded with a smile to the nurse, “but I-I am very nervous.”
Nurse: nervous?
With narrowed eyes, the nurse asked. Jolene gave a small nod.
Nurse: Don’t be nervous. They are decent people. They will securely take you to your house, believe me.
Jolene: Will I see my family again?
Nurse: Of course. And since they assumed your responsibilities, you would be in danger. That’s why they could have taken it.
Jolene: danger? But how did you figure it out?
Nurse: I am their family nurse, Ms.I used to go to their Albania house when they needed me. So, i can tell, maybe they know something. That is why they are taking you with them.
Jolene: oh, I see.
Jolene said in a surprised tone. It startled them to hear a knock on the door. They both turned to look back.
The nurse stepped back and lowered her gaze when she saw him. “Good morning, Mr. Farru,” she murmured softly.
“Is everything okay?” Farru said as he entered. Jolene took a step back and dropped her gaze.
Nurse: Yes, almost, sir.
“I didn’t know you’d come here to pick me up,” Jolene stated in the midst.
Farru: What’s the big deal about this?
Farru smiled as he slid his hands into his pockets.
Nurse: Please, sir, give me 2 minutes. I will complete the procedure. I was unaware that you would personally visit us.
Farru: That’s OK. Please take your time.
Farru gazed at Jolene as he spoke. She appeared to be a little different. After the nurse left, Farru and Jolene were in the room. Farru sat on the sofa, while Jolene perched on the side of the bed, staring out the window at the sky. Farru’s eyes were fixed on her.
Farru’s point of view
She appears to be a little unusual. I know she saved my father’s life, but I still don’t have faith in her. I need to get to know her first, since I can’t fully trust her yet.
“What are you thinking?” I asked, my legs crossed.
Jolene stared at me and wrapped herself in her arm.
Then she said, “Mr. Farru, it’s nothing.”
“Are you sad you’re coming with us or sad I’m coming here to pick you up?” I asked.
“It’s my fortune that you came here, Mr. Farru,” Jolene remarked, with a small nod. “ And I’m not depressed; I’m simply concerned about something.”
Me: What is it?
Jolene took a deep breath and began, “I phoned my mother yesterday, but she didn’t pick up.” So I sent her a message, but I have yet to receive a response. I’m concerned that something bad has occurred to her.“
So she has a mother. I’m not sure if she’s speaking the truth. However, if it is true, it is natural to be concerned.
I nodded lightly and said, “Jolene, give me your address.” I’ll send my man over to see what’s going on. “
“Thank you, Mr. Farru,” she smiled and replied in a pleasant tone. I’ll never forget how much you helped me. “
“Ms. Jolene, it’s nothing.” “You saved my father’s life,” I expressed my gratitude.
She smiled and replied, “Mr. Farru, you also rescued me.” I feel that whatever you do for me, I will never be able to repay this debt for the rest of my life. “
Meanwhile, the nurse walked into the room and remarked, “Sir, everything is fine now.” You may now take Ms. Jolene."
Thanks to the nurse, I was able to get up. “Ms. Jolene”, I said. She nodded as she rose from her bed. “Ms., please allow me to assist you,” the nurse stated.
