Chapter 18

"Hello Ruby, it's Pierre!" Without warning, Pierre immediately called Ruby while his two friends were still thinking.

"Hey, why did you call him?" Henry asked panicked. Pierre didn't seem to pay attention to Henry's panic and continued talking to Ruby on the phone.

"Yes Pierre, what's wrong?"

"Are you home from work yet?"

"I just came home, why?"

"Want to have dinner with us tonight?"

"Hey Pierre, what do you mean by asking him out to dinner?" Henry asked annoyed. But even so, he didn't really refuse to have dinner with Ruby.

"Dinner? Sorry, but I can't!"

"Is it true?"

"I don't want to bother you guys, after all I've just started working. That's why I want to save my money until I get paid later, hehe!"

"Tsk, damn it! Pierre, give me your phone! Let me talk to him!" Henry immediately asked for Pierre's cell phone and, with emotion, immediately spoke in a loud voice.

"Hey, if a man invites you to dinner that means you're not the one paying the bill! You bastard! Besides, since when have you been out of money? You've always been taking our money, don't act so innocent!" he shouted irritably.

"Hey, why are you shouting at me? Who do you think you are? You bastard!"

"Never mind! Shut your rotten mouth! Come tonight at the L'élite française restaurant! Just watch out if you don't come, I'll kill you!" He said and immediately ended the call.

Seeing his childish attitude like this made Pierre and Jacob stunned. They forgot that Henry had a side like this that he rarely showed, in fact he had never shown it since Ruby left 10 years ago.

They looked at each other, before finally laughing out loud seeing her reddened face.

"Hey, buddy! Are you actually happy he came home?" Pierre said while patting Henry's shoulder.

Henry didn't want to say yes, but he knew it was impossible for him to hide what he was thinking to his friends who had known him since he was six years old.

"I'm happy because I can finally repay what he did to us first!"

"How is that? Honestly, I don't want to reply at all, especially seeing her appearance like that! Honestly, I almost always get an erection whenever I'm around her," Henry said

"I know you're just trying to force yourself to think of her as the Ruby we used to know before that incident, right? Ruby who almost always had short hair and wore the same clothes as us. We spent time every day with her and never once thought of her as different. But, I want you to realize one thing. She is a woman, she is different from us! I know what you think and I also know what you want."

"Damn it! I keep thinking about that! Damn Ruby, why do you have to come back looking like that? Why can't you just be like before so I can get my revenge in peace?"

"Hi, honey! Why are you talking alone?"

A woman in a red lingerie entered his private room while reading two glasses of expensive wine. The woman handed him a glass, Henry accepted it a little reluctantly.

"Why are you still here?"

"You don't like me here?"

"I told you to leave before I go home, right?" Henry raised his voice and gave this woman an intimidating look.

This woman only responded to his cold gaze with a seductive smile and placed the glass she was holding on Henry's desk. This woman put her hands around Henry's neck and planted a kiss on his lips.

"I want to conceive your child! Can we do it without protection tonight?" He whispered softly as he licked behind Henry's ear.

For some reason Henry felt annoyed, he didn't feel like discussing things like that tonight. His eyes were fixed on the clock on the wall which showed 06.30 at night.

"I have to go!" He said as he got up from the chair and forcefully let go of this woman's embrace.

"Honey, where are you going? I just came to town this morning, but you don't care about me at all! I'm lonely, darling! Take me for a ride!"

"Damn, let go of your hand! What else do you want from me?"

"Why are you talking like that? We're about to get engaged, why are you still acting cold to me? Oh I know, did you come to this city to pick up your disgusting ex-secretary? Geez, is she pregnant with your child so you can't let it go?"

"What are you saying? Can you get out of my sight? You know, I'm really sick of you! Tell that old fart. I'm not engaged at all, let alone married to you!" Henry looked very angry and it managed to make this woman freeze in fear. He knew how scary Henry could be when he was angry. The wealth he has can even allow him to buy other people's lives.

Henry walked away annoyed, he had to come to the restaurant tonight. His passionate desire for revenge on his childhood friend made him unable to think about anything else. He just wanted to see Ruby suffer no matter what. Even though he has to do cruel and disgusting things

"Ruby bastard! Just watch, I will definitely avenge you! I won't be able to live in peace before witnessing your misery!"
