Zion’s Pov

“Are you afraid?” Iliam questioned. Watching me pace as I relayed Noemoa’s words to him.

“I’m ready to end this Iliam.” I replied.

This had gone for far too long; I was ready to get this over with. Hella had tormented us again, and again. Granted I had made a promise to her, but she was the reason I had to even make such a promise.

It was unlucky that Ethar was gone and there was no way to get a message to him and tell him what we had planned to do.

The plan was for Neoma to lure Hella to a place known as Infinity. A world between worlds, a place between the Goddess realm and our realm. There I would be able to channel the darkness and take her out. That was the plan but knowing what I know about how these deities operate I had little faith that everything would go of without a hitch. So instead of having Iliam with me I needed someone who could use magic. Leo was all too willing to cooperate in helping me destroy the bitch.

“Please be careful, you and Leo are the only people who can bring the Ethar and the children back.” Iliam said as he kissed my forehead.

“I will bring them back, if it’s the last thing I do.” I assured him.

Right on time Neoma appeared, in the bedroom. Leo walked in a few seconds later. I laid down on one side of the bed, and Leo laid on the other. Our physical bodies would remain in this bedroom. Our souls however were traveling with Neoma.

Neoma flicked her wrist, and I was instantly standing beside her staring down at my body lying on the bed. Iliam was next to me holding my head in his lap, a tear escaped his eye and went to reach out, but Neoma grabbed my wrist.

“Seven minutes.” She warned and I nodded my head. We only had seven minutes to get the job done. There was no time to be sentimental. She grabbed my hand, then Leo’s and closed her eyes.

The etherical light around us flickered back and forth before it came to a stop. When I finally forced my eyes open, they were met with what I can only describe as bright nothingness. My eyes landed on a bright red light, like the one I saw when Hella first came to me.

“How dare you summon me against my will.” She snapped at Neoma, and then she noticed me, and Leo were there too.

‘Give me a second, I want to try and talk to her first.’ Neoma mindlinked, I was hesitant at first but this was her sister. I figured Neoma should have this chance to say a few final words.

“Do you know who I am?” Neoma questioned and Hella let out a devious chuckle.

“How could I not.” Hella chuckled out. No remorse or guilt in her voice.

“Let us end this Hella, there is no reas….” Neoma said but was cut off.

“I looked for you for a long time Neoma, I really did. You have done well for yourself, but this does not concern you. My laws have been broken, just as you have the right to curse those who go against you, I have the right to bring justice to those who cross me.” Hella explained, she didn’t want to talk, or listen to reason. She traded her humanity for power, the person standing in front Neoma now was no longer her sister.

“I must say, as much as you tried your hardest to refuse your destiny, you both stand before your goddess as trained killers. That’s what you’ve come to do right? Kill me?” She said now addressing Leo and me.

“I guess so, not for hire though.” Leo said with a careless tone that angered Hella even more. I shared Leo’s sentiment. If we were destined to be murders as she put it, what better way to be just that and destroy the mother who created such things.

She chuckled confidently and I felt the darkness tingling as it crept up to the surface. I felt Leo grab my hand but, he flinched as he felt just a small amount of the darkness pull from me.

Leo’s POV

I had felt the aura of the darkness my sister carried before, but I had never made contact with it. Neoma disappeared and was out of sight, and I began to think she had led us straight into a trap.

‘She can’t be near the darkness, or it will find its way back to her’ Zion explained through the link and I nodded.

Hella continued to chuckle at the sight of us moving into position. Why was she so confident?

I pulled on the darkness from my sister, and the feeling of it was strange. It was like a missing piece to a puzzle. The more I took the more I felt complete. Still infatuated with the new feeling now coursing through me I drew on it more.

‘Slow down’ Zion warned, I understood why she said it. I couldn’t help it though, it was like a drug, a sweet sensation of dark power that complimented my own. I wanted to call out and stop her as I watched Zion lunge forward at the goddess. She hadn’t realized I was still pulling from her. My mouth became dry as I watched the black tendrils that formed around Zion’s hands fade just as she made contact with Hella’s own red tendrils.

Hella had Zion by the throat, and a deranged laugh erupted from her.

“Was that your plan.” She spat at Zion. I tried to run toward her, but Hellas other hand swatted in my direction, and I went to my knees.

“I come from darkness!” She yelled and the entire realm shook. My sister turned her head and gave me a lazy smile.

“Give me your humanity. Welcome your accession to my throne and I will leave your children and mates in peace.” Hella bargained. Zion clutched her throat as she gasped for air. Her efforts were futile.

‘Make sure you bring them back.’ Zion mindlinked. I struggled to my feet and was making slow dragging steps toward where they were, but I was too late. I watched the goddess flex her hands around my sister throat and heard the snap. My sisters spirit began to fade and the tendrils around the goddess began to explode in increments as she tried to absorb Zion’s soul.

“A life for a life.” The Hella chanted. I also heard Neoma’s voice filter in my head, like she eunderstood what was happening. ‘A life for a life.’

Where the strength came from was unknown. I felt my eyes bleed black as the darkness engulfed me. With inhuman speed I was in front of Hella as she laughed and boasted her success.

“A Life for a Life huh?” I said and her eyes snapped to mine. Her laughter halted and her once joyful expression was replaced by an utterly fearful one.

“What are you?” she whispered. I grabbed the back of her head, and I felt the red flames try to fight me off, but her body did nothing to attack me.

“How about yours?” I said and a dark smile formed.

I pressed my lips to hers. I sucked her life force through the kiss. Her light dissipated, and I felt her body wither beneath my lips. I felt the darkness burn the area around us as I striped her of her throne.

Neoma’s voice whispered through my thoughts as the Infinity shatter, and the veil that separated the realms disappeared.

‘The Dark One’ ‘Cursed One’ ‘The Punished Prince’ ‘The prophecy Leo please listen to me.’

**Book Two Bloodshed**

10 Years later

Taliah’s POV

I was six years old we were pulled from the void. The world had quickly turned to shit. When the veils broke, and the realms merged, we were all thrown in between the fighting between gods and goddess. My world was nothing like what my parents and grand parents grew up in. My mom told me a long-forgotten prophecy had been fulfilled and it fractured the world. Apparently killing a Goddess has consequences. After the war between the gods was over, humanity tried to pick up right where they left off. Dark blood thirsty creatures roamed the earth, and the moon was split in two. The packs began to fight amongst each other, and the humans were on a crusade to take us all out, Wolf, vamps, and witch alike.

I was pulled from my thoughts as I stared out into the planes of grass the covered the land, as I felt the blade fly by face hitting the tree I was sitting under.

“Taliah! always be aware of your surroundings. If you don’t take this seriously you will never survive your accession to Alphadom.” My mother called out.

I rolled my eyes at her rant before standing.

“You need to have finished your training before he comes to take you. You need to be ready.” She complained.

“And why would you let him take me in the first-place mom.” I questioned jogging in her direction.

“You need your mate now more than ever; you need to become stronger. Make no mistake Taliah the King of Darkness reigns over us all.” She explained.

I walked to the hall with her, and we met up with my fathers, and my sister Gia and her mates. I made a face at my sister before I grabbed my cup and swallowed down what I thought was wine.

“The hell is this.” I said as my face turned sour at the taste.

“Dad brought out the good stuff to celebrate.” Gia said chuckling.

“You have found your mate, this is no small thing.” My father Ethar explained.

“He found me. I had no choice in the matter.” I retorted taking another huge sip.

“How did I get stuck with the weak Human mate!” I yelled as I felt the alcohol go to my head.

“Ok, okay. Slow down.” Father Iliam slurred, letting me know he had already had a few himself.

‘I like him. He is very handsome.’ My wolf Nyx said letting her approval be known.

“What kind of name is Anar anyway he even sounds weak.” I complained

“Calm down General Anar is a very charming young man.” My mother retorted.

“Plus, when you turn 18 you can just turn him if you want.” Iliam whispered and we both giggled. It was a good idea.
