Chapter 17

I just woke up because I was hungry. By the time I woke up with my eyes I could see the concern on the faces of Savienna, Psalm, Brenda, Maureen and Tom. They were all around the hospital bed I was lying on.
"You're awake! I didn't expect the effect of the sleeping pill to last that long." Savienna said as she prepared the food by my side.
"Oh my god! Reian, I thought you wouldn't wake up." Maureen said. What are they saying? What happened?
"How many hours do I sleep?" I asked them, Savienna stopped to fix the food and Brenda and Maureen also fell silent in front of me.
"You've been asleep for three days ... and you don't remember what happened?" Savienna said. I arranged to sit on the bed and shook with him. Why? What happened?
Maureen was about to speak when Savienna stopped her. Okay? Are they close now? Why am I not informed? And plus, what happened to my level 2 training? Did I make it? And did Saint see what did I just did?
"Uhm, maybe it's not time to say that for you. After you recover." Savienna said with a smile, I just nodded at her and looked at Psalm's arm.
"What happened to that?" I asked the two of them. Psalm's face is still calm while just looking at me.
"Oh, it's just simple scratch." Psalm's simple promise, I didn't ask any more questions and just waited for Savienna to finish preparing the food.
Brenda helps Savienna while Maureen is busy talking to Tom. While Psalm is on his laptop again. If I slept for three days, that means it's Saturday. And I think this is the greatest opportunity to talk to Saint.
I don"t know if he would like to see me, but I need to talk to him. We need to discuss about something, I need to clear something. I have many questions that I know only he can answer.
This might sound ridiculous but I badly want to see him too. I haven't been with him for a few weeks and now that he's here, I can't waste time not even talking to him.
"Here's your food, eat now." Savienna said and laid in front of me the food she had prepared.
Brenda, Maureen and Tom left the room because they were going to the bookstore. Which is also just here on campus. I started eating and soon we heard knocks from the door.
Savienna opened the door and I saw Deus, Saint and other three guys enter inside. They were carrying a syringe, and files. I looked at Savienna with a questioning look.
"What are they doing here?"
"They are here to know what's the cause of your bloodlust." Psalm says. In short, they are going to examine me?
Savienna and Psalm left the room. Five men sat in front of me. Deus sneezed so I looked at him.
"So, Reian. What do you think is the cause of your bloodlust? As far as I know, this also happened in your first training." God said. I did not answer. I don't know what the reason for my bloodlust is. And it's not that easy to know what that is.
Deus sighed as he got no answer from me. "You need to cooperate with us, Reian. The bloodlust you have is rare, and it will soon resemble Saint's."

He said nothing and immediately stabbed me in the arm. My forehead frowned in pain, they are getting some blood from me. What will they do there?
"What are you going to do with my blood?" I asked.
"Some blood tests that can help determine what bloodlust you have."
"Besides, we're also here to inform you that someone else will teach you. You're special like your sister, so you should be transferred to another trainor." God said.

"He will also help you to control your bloodlust." Deus added, I nodded at what Deus said. Only now have I felt excitement in my upcoming trainings.
"And we'll move your dorm room, you're there in Hellion's vault." I nodded again, I missed this! This is like living again with him!
Deus and the men with him stood up and looked at me.
"I am expecting a lot from you, Reian. Hope you are going to be worth my time." Deus said and left the room with his three male guards.
I looked at Saint and saw that he was already sitting on the couch and facing his laptop. I don't want to be suspicious, but if I'm right that Saint has amnesia, I need to help him so that I can bring back his memories.
I mean? I know that when I get close to him, he has a mat-triggered memory in his brain and it can all be restored. I've read this in all the novels that someone must be able to trigger Saint's memory, for it to come back. And I know, I am the big part of his memory ..
"Pst! Hey, Santillana." I called him because he was very serious about what he was doing on his laptop. He looked up at me so I swallowed.
"What?" He responded. Coldly.
"Why don't you take off your eyepatch? I already know what's hidden in your eyepatch. Your red eye, right?" I saw her eyebrow rise because of what I said.
"You don't have the rights to command me things." He said sternly. This attitude of him is what I missed the most. His rudeness.
Looks like we'll be back from the first ah? The way he was rude to me then.
"Yes I have the rights, I am your baby afterall." I bit my lip because of what I said. What the hell Sabrina? Why did you say that?
He got up from his seat and approached the hospital bed I was sitting on.
"Listen, you stupid brat. I don't have time to play some joke to you, I can even kill you right here, right now. But be thankful because you are important to Deus." He said sternly as he stood by my side. I didn't look at his face anymore because I didn't want to see how scary his aura was.
"Between us two, I am stronger. It doesn't mean you have bloodlust to t-treat you like a porcelain doll. Because you aren't. Better say and act the right thing before I crush your bones." I was swallowed.
This isn't Saint. I know he's harsh and all, but he never said those things to me. Even if he's mad at me, I know he can't say that ...
What did they do to you, Saint?!

I quietly followed Saint as we walked towards his vault. We have passed all the school buildings but we still can't get to what they say is his vault. How far is it?
I carry my three uniforms and a few clothes. He said that everything I needed was there and that all I needed to bring was clothes. I dragged the suitcase I used when I rated it.
"We have one and only rule, Reian." Saint said sternly so I immediately became alert.
"Yes? What is it?" I immediately said.
"Don't touch my things. Don't be mai ㅡ" I didn't finish him.
"Yeah I know that already you've said these things to me like 7 years ago." I just smiled at the memory of when his Mommy and Daddy disappeared, and he was in charge of the whole mansion.
He warned me about those rules already. She looked at me and I saw the confusion on her face. I just showed him a peace sign, he just shrugged at me and continued to page-explain to me things he didn't want.
But I was shocked by what I heard. He added a new rule?
"Last, we have a 5 meters rule. You have to keep a distance of 5 meters away from me." W-what? 5 meters away from Saint? I can't do that!
"I-I can't d-do that!" I told him.
"And why is that?" He looked at me because of what I said.
"You are my mentor! You can't teach me from far away." I sugar-coated. But the truth is, I don't want him away from me. Not allowed!
"Okay fine. You're such a brat." I ignored him and just smiled because of his consent. Atleast right? I can still get close to him even so.
I saw us stop at a small door. Seriously? Eto nayun? In the distance we walked a small and crowded house would meet me?
Saint seemed to notice my irritability so he just shook his head at me.
We entered inside and I was surprised to see another door. Compared to the other door this one is like a bulletproof door. And it looks like he's the only one who can really enter, just like his room in their mansion.
He entered some password and identified all his finger print and his red eye, just like his room in the mansion does. When we entered I was amazed at what I saw.
There's another room behind these doors, huge net. It was like three times in Saint's room in their mansion. It has a kitchen, a diner, a living room and five rooms.
"Your room will be in that door." He said while pointing at the peach door, the one on the right side of the net door is black and the one on the left side is violet.
I was distracted when suddenly someone came out of the violet door. I almost drool as I see who came out, a very beautiful woman. Her complexion is already red because of the white, and her red hair is beautifully wavy. Her eyes are hazel in color.
And she has an angelic face. She looked at Saint and I saw her sweetest smile.
"Angelous, you're here. I've been waiting for you." He said and hurriedly approached our habit. She looked at me and smiled too, I don't want to be rude to her so I just smiled too.
Saint is with someone? And he's with someone who is more gorgeous than me.
"Hi I am Abbygayle, you can call me Gayle." He said with a smile and held out his hand to me. I just smiled at Gayle and accepted her hand. Even her voice sounds so calm and sweet.
"I am Sab ㅡ Reian." I smiled back.
"Oh, so you're the twin of Reina Hernandez?" He asked, even this girl knows Savienna? I nodded at him.
"Awesome! I would like you to send my regards to her ㅡ"
"That's enough, Gayle. Did you cook some food?" Saint cuts to what Gayle has to say. I saw her pouted and that makes her even more beautiful.
"I'm sorry, Saint. Don't be such a bossy! And yes there's a food there." He said while pointing at the table.
"Put Reian's stuff in his room, Reian let's eat." I heard Saint say. I nodded to Saint, and I could clearly see the annoyance on Gayle's face when Saint's servant returned.
She is so cute.
"Saint, who is she?" I asked her.
"Just a random girl." Random girl but here lives in her vault? I can even rip that Gayle's head open!
Annoying. I was jealous but I could do nothing. I wonder what they were doing when I wasn"t here. I sat at the dining table and waited for Saint to finish preparing the food.
"How long has he lived here?" I can't help but ask.
"Since the day I moved here when I was 15 years old. She keeps it clean here, and she cooks for me and does all the chores." Oh, what a beautiful maid she is. I stopped laughing so I just kept it to myself.
I might sound so evil but duh, Saint is mine. Only mine. I might ruin her beautiful face if she takes Saint away from me.
"Oh, I thought she's your ahm, girlfriend?" I just said.
"I don't have time for that." Said Saint. I just nodded to him and started eating the food he prepared.
I'm planning to bring Saint's memories back, I just hope it'll work.
I can not sleep. No matter how hard I try, my mind doesn't want to put me to sleep. I just got up and left the room. Saint's entire vault was silent. And all the lights are off.
I go to the kitchen to drink water, I need to sleep. Tomorrow my level 3 training will start and Saint will watch over me, I can't let myself train with him with a haggard face!
After I drank the water I was about to go back to the room when I heard Gayle's room open. I saw him come out of there, and my eyes widened at what I saw.
She is holding a syringe! I saw how he unlocked Saint's room. Does he know what password? Well, during the time she lived here, Sabrina probably memorized everything here.
No doubt I followed him inside. She didn't lock the door so I had a chance to peek inside Saint's room. First of all, what is he doing inside?
I saw him look at Saint and take a deep breath. "I'm so sorry, Saint ..." I heard him say and I grew up at what I saw.
She injected that syringe to Saint! I saw how Saint's breath deepened and beads of sweat were forming on his forehead.
What did she injected to Saint? I saw him coming out so I quickly hid behind the curtain near Saint's door. I heard the door closed and Gayle's footsteps. Is she betraying Saint?
When I heard the door to Gayle's room break I immediately went out of hiding and looked at the closed door to Saint's room. I want to check him is he's okay, I want to see him ...
But I don"t know what her room password is. I need to catch that Gayle in action in order to save Saint, I'm sure Saint won't believe me no matter what I say.

I woke up early the next day and saw Gayle, and she"s back in her angelic mode. She is preparing us breakfast. I also saw Saint just sitting on the couch and facing his laptop. As usual, he is busy.
I helped Gayle prepare breakfast.
"Good morning, Reian." She said smiling.
"Morning." My sparing answer, she just smiled at me and decided to continue what she was doing.
After we prepared breakfast he called Saint so we could start eating.
"Saint! I want to go outside today, I'm really bored and I want to go shop!" Gayle said smiling. I looked at Saint his expression is still the same and his aura seems to have become even darker.
"I told you, Gayle. You can't go outside." I saw Gayle pouted but Saint still didn't have it.
"What if I just include Reian? Maybe it's okay with him, right?" He smiled and said, what? And does he really intend to include me in his madness?
"Reian? Is it okay with you?" I heard Saint ask. I don't want to ruin Gayle's angelic act so I just nodded.
"Yay! I miss shopping." His voice was sharp as he said that. I just shrugged my shoulders with him.
I need Gayle the most. She seems to be hiding something from Saint, and I need to be closer to her so that I can know more about what she is planning to do badly to Saint. I can't even protest last night, when I saw him inject something into Saint's neck.
I wonder what that is. And based on the reaction of Saint's body last night, I saw how it was sweating and his body seemed restless. His body is reacting negatively, to that thing he injected into Saint.
So that must be a drug that can harm his body, I wonder if he just did it now or regularly. I'll only know that tonight, I'm sure of it.
I can't allow anyone to hurt Saint like that. Gayle is attacking him in his back! Saint didn't know what Gayle was doing there while he was behind her.
There is only one person I can approach in this situation, well my first choice will always be Saint but now he is different, he is now the victim.
And I need some alliance to help me convince Gayle of what she's doing. And I only know one person who can help me with that ... that person is much more controlled and scarier than me.
