Chapter 40

: Just Wait
It's been a week since that day, and I've been in a relationship with Jizan for a week. As time went on my situation became more difficult, I really should have stopped this. But why can't I do it? I'm also annoyed with myself because I just have to do simple things but why can't I do it? I'm so dumb! Really really dumb!
I am now immersed in my book. I'm here at the library because I'm preparing for exams next week, I'm staring at the books in front of me and I haven't started reading yet but I'm lazy. Actually, I shouldn't review yet because I know the lessons, and that sinks into my brain.
"Oh my god, look who's here ..." I looked up at the sudden speaker, and my forehead furrowed when I saw my batch mate. I batch it because we are the same color as the ID lace.
"Who are you?" I asked, and adjusted my seat.
"I'm Shantelle and this is Yza." He said and pointed to the woman with him, my eyebrows raised.
"And? What do you need from me?" I asked.
"Okay, since we're here too ... can you talk?" Smiling, Shantelle said and sat in the empty seat in front of me, Yza did the same and sat in the empty seat next to Shantelle.
"About what?" I asked.
"I've really seen your beauty, and wit since you entered SIA, I'm suggesting that you should join our sorority."
"What kind of sorority?" I asked her.
He took a brochure from his bag and immediately presented it to me. I looked there and in her face, she's pretty really and seems smart too. I accepted the brochure he gave me and read what was there.
B&W Sorority?
"So, our sorority is the one who represents the school every school pageants, our sorority needs atleast 20 members. And we already have 15, so we need five, and we are hoping to have you there." Shantelle said.
"Sorry, not interested." I said and returned the brochure to Shantelle.
I"m not interested in beauties, so I don"t know why they"re recruiting me into this thing.
"H-ha? B-but why? Your sister has already joined the sorority, and she said she will definitely join now." He says. Is it Avie? Ugh! He is expected to actually participate, because he is artistic and loves to dress up.
I just shook hands with him. "I'm not interested, even? Who else did you join there." I told her
"Actually, we're not just really talking about the sorority, we're also asking you to save our organization from Kylie! She's too cunning! She's the Mother of the sorority and then she doesn't give everyone a chance to participate in contests because she wants to. he's the only one to join !! "If you think I'll join just because of Avie, well no ... you don't know Avie. Please just tell Kylie that if I were her, I wouldn't break Avie's patience ..." I advised her.
I got up and put away my belongings. "And one more thing, Kylie really sucks." I laughed saying.
If they only knew who Avie really was, if I were them I wouldn't move. I can see that it looks soft but they say, the true color comes out when it's soft. Just like what was done to Mom then, I'm more of Dad because what I really want to do, while Avie is a late bloomer, is there to do what I want when it's over.
And as far as I know, Mom was really scary when her bloodlust attacked, so maybe it was the same run with Avie.
"Where have you been?" I looked at the person who suddenly spoke next to me and I saw Jizan.
"In the library, reviewing .." I said simply.
"Oh right, it's your exams. Do you want to help me?" He asked, because college and high school have different exam schedules.
"Don't, I can handle it. It's easy ..." I said.
"Should we eat?" He asked, I immediately nodded to Jizan.
And we walked together towards the school cafeteria. I saw some students staring at us, and others were still mumbling.
I looked at our usual table and my eyes widened when I saw Riguel, Avie, Ryl, and Jax there.
I looked at Jizan and he immediately pushed Avie's table.
"I'll order our food, sit there." I nodded to Jizan and immediately walked over to our table.
They all looked at me and immediately smiled at me.
"Finally! Come with us for lunch again! I thought you were going to date again!" Laughing, Jax said, the truth is I really missed them. It took a while because we had lunch together.
I sat down next to Avie, who was also next to Riguel. So Avie, Riguel, was in the middle of us, while Jax and Ryl were in front of us.
"What date are you saying?" I laugh at the promise.
"You! You and Jizan! We already know you. That's all news at school!" Jax said again. I just fell on my forehead because of what he said.
"Do you really love my brother?" Ryl said softly so I looked at him. Is it possible that Avie told Ryl? After all, Avie likes Ryl ...
"Why did you ask?" I asked her.
He just shrugged at me and continued eating. Jizan arrived just in time with our food.
"Here, eat up." I nodded at what Jizan said and ate immediately.
I looked at Avie and saw her slightly look at Jizan and shake again. I know he's disappointed in what I'm doing, but..what can I do ?? I tried a few times to finish that but I don"t know why I still don"t want to.
Just wait Avie .. I can do this.

Forty-Three: Ripped
I left our classroom after I took my last subject exam. Riguel came out to me earlier but he was just outside waiting for me. I looked at him and smiled.
"Oh my! Evie! Why did you forget the answer to Number 78?" Riguel asked me with a laugh, he was still annoying me about asking for an answer from him earlier. Really annoying!
"Don't remind me! I forgot the formula, didn't I? Over and over?" I will ask. Riguel just smiled at me.
"But no, at least I have remembrance of you. When you ask for an answer!" He said louder, I immediately covered his mouth.
"Shut up! Don't bother me!" I said angrily to Riguel.
"I'll tease you as much as I want !!" He said and stuck out his tongue, why does a to act like a child ?!
I was about to attack him but I immediately lowered my hand when I saw Jizan standing in the elevator of the building and seemed to be waiting for me. I looked at Riguel and saw how the smile disappeared from his lips.
Jizan looked at me then at Riguel and the wind just blew.
"After that exam?" He asked me, I nodded at him.
"Something to do foam?" He asked.
"Ahm, no more .." I said softly.
"I'm first, Evie! Enjoy your date!" I heard Riguel say and I saw him enter inside another elevator.
I just rested deeply and looked at Jizan again. He offered his hand to me, and I immediately accepted, I was surprised when he suddenly folded our fingers. I could barely move and I felt myself.
My heart is beating so fast and it feels like it's tickling. Jizan looked at me because I didn't move from where I was standing.
"Is there something wrong?" He asked, I was immediately shaken and we entered the elevator together. I was surprised when Shantelle, Yza and Kylie came up to me.
What are they doing in the highschool building? I saw Kylie look down at our hands and immediately frowned.
Jizan pressed the ground floor and it seemed like Kylie was just not with him.
"Where do you want to eat?" Jizan asked me. I looked at my watch and saw it was 10AM.
"Let's just go to the mall first, it's still early for lunch and so we don't get bored waiting." I said, Jizan smiled slightly at me and immediately nodded.
The quiet, very quiet inside the elevator. Then it seems to be slowing down even more! We're only on the 4th floor, right? Why does it take so long to get to the ground floor?
"Jizan!" I heard Kylie artfully call Jizan. I looked at Kylie and saw how with her look at me, I just laughed softly.

I crossed my arms and looked at Shantelle and Yza like a gentle dog just following Kylie. What's up with Kylie? Why the boss of these? Tss.
"You want to spare me?" I heard Jizan ask, annoying! That one also wanted what Kylie wanted! Bwisit! They are together!
The elevator rang just in time so I got out immediately and didn't wait for Jizan. Leave him there! If he wants to go with Kylie! Edi went with him! Duh!
I looked behind me and was surprised not to see Jizan at the entrance of the elevator. Where is the festival over there?

"Who are you looking for?" I looked at the speaker and was surprised to see Jizan looking at me.
"W-nothing! Who am I going to look for ?!" I asked out loud.
"Are you mad?" Jizan asked calmly.
"No! Why would I be angry ?!" I disgusted the question.
"You're mad, what did I do?" He asked.
"You really like to invent! I'm not angry!" I rolled my eyes.
"Why did you leave me in the elevator?" He asked. As we walked together towards the school parking lot.
"Why should I wait for you? Do you still want me to watch you and Kylie flirt ?!" I asked him angrily. Duh! As if he really wants me to wait for him there!
"Are you jealous?" He suddenly asked. I immediately looked at him and glared at him.
"Excuse me ?! Why should I be jealous ?!" I asked him angrily, we are already in the parking lot and there are almost no people.
"Because you're jealous." Jizan said simply, I immediately looked at him while my hands were on my waist.
"Listen! Why would I be fucking jealous of Kylie ?! I know for myself that I am clearly ahead of her! No one is attracted to me there! So you are Jizan Zoldyck! You should fucking choose wisely on who you are going to fucking - "
I stopped speaking when I suddenly felt Jizan's lips touch mine.
