Chapter 22

When I heard a gunshot I suddenly fell to the ground. I blinked once, and blinked several times. I can control my body now! I looked behind me and there I saw Savienna, she is holding a syringe in her hand and she is smiling at me. They're here!
I immediately hugged Savienna and burst into tears.
"Sabrina, finally. You're safe, now. We're here ..." I smiled at what Savienna said and I immediately broke up with her when I remembered Saint.
I immediately looked at Saint's whereabouts earlier and I almost fainted when I saw he was unconscious. He is just there..lying on the Ring Of Fire.
I immediately approached Saint and hugged his body. His head is now on my lap while my hands are on his back.
"Saint ?? Saint?" I called. But he didn't respond.
"Saint ... Santillana!" I called again.
"Please, Saint ... please wake up ..." I cried. I can't do that, I can't lose him.
All those happiness are gone ... I can remember him smiling in front of me, his voice ... his eyes. His damn hugs and kisses. No ... I don't want him gone. Not like this ...
"Baby, please ...." I cried, I didn't do anything. All I can do is to whim and cry.
"You're going to marry me, right?" Please wake up ...
I have many plans for us, you can't leave me like this. You are my everything Saint, you left me now and I can hardly do that. Don't leave me again! Don't leave ...
"I thought you wouldn't leave me ... please baby ... wake up please ..." I felt people already behind me and I saw Savienna, Pierce and Psalm standing run.
"Savienna, call an ambulance please! Let's bring him to the hospital. Please Savienna." I beg Savienna. She smiled at me and nodded.
"What a nice view we have here ..." I immediately let go of Saint and stood up and faced the person I wanted to end my life.
"Deus ..." I whispered softly.
I saw that Pierce, Psalm and Savienna were also alarmed. Deus' men came out and immediately surrounded us.
"You think so? I didn't expect you to be the Mafia Heiress, I mean. Look at you, weak and stuffs." He says laughing. I ignored what he said and just stared at him. I also saw Abbygayle Viper come out next to Deus.
"Okay, for now let's play a little game ..." He said with a smile.
"What game?" My response is serious.
"You didn't guard that Santillana well ..." I was immediately nervous at what Deus said and immediately looked behind me and my eyes widened when he was no longer there!
"Give Saint back!" I almost shouted that in his face.
"Chill there, Heiress." He said in a cocky way.
"God stop this. You don't want us to attack you in some way." I heard Pierce say that.
"Me? Being attacked? By you people? Oh come on! I am more skilled than what you think. Even that, Santillana can't beat me, can you?" I can't stop clenching my fist because of what Deus said. He is being so boastful about his skills.
I'm sure, Saint is way more better than him.
"Oh come on, Alejandeus Viper, we all know Saint us more ahead of you." Savienna said in a calm way, I am very thankful that Savienna is with me now.
Because if not? Saint and I might both be doomed.
"He is just one number ahead of me! And you! Savienna Lacsamana! You are no match for me, even if your a number ahead of me too!" Deus shouted again, oh my god. God is crazy! He is one of a monster who is in a human form!
"Stop your dreams, dumbass." That syllable in my ear when I heard Psalm speak like that. Well, I don"t know Psalm that much, I shouldn"t be surprised.
"Dreams? No! This is in fact, REALITY. That the heiress is weak, her twin is weak, all of you are no match for me!" I saw Savienna's eyes roll and Pierce and Psalm's sigh.
Honestly speaking, we are no match for Deus and I know that. Plus, Abbygayle Viper is there. She is a beast too. We are in danger. We are not strong enough to beat those too.
But I still don't see the ability of Pierce and Psalm then maybe .... maybe we still have hope in these two.
"Okay, cut the dramas. Let's move into the real game." He paused and smirked at us.
"As you can see, I have my human zombies here. They are all poisoned too like Sabrina earlier, and they are controlled to kill enemies. In short, you people." Smiling Deus said.
"If you make it, then congratulations. If not? Well goodbye."
"What do we get in return?" I have a serious question.
"I will tell you where Saint Santillana is."
"How will we know when we won?" Savienna asked.
"Oh easy, if me and my precious daughter are dead too."
This game is hella crazy!
The human zombies referred to by Deus began to approach us one by one. And I was immediately nervous, be calm Sabrina don't panic. Don't let your bloodlust consume you, don't panic. Be calm and just breath.
Don't Panic.
Be calm.
Breath.
I always remind myself. My bloodlust can't come out, I can't hurt Savienna, Pierce or Psalm. Don't they. Not them. I haven"t controlled my bloodlust yet so it"s dangerous when it suddenly wakes up. Maybe even my loved ones, I will be hurt.
When most of Deus"s Human Zombies got close we immediately took action. Savienna is fighting on north, while Pierce is on South and Psalm is on East, while me is on West.
All the human zombies' eyes were blank. They have no expression. Saint must've been hurt when I look at him like this earlier.
When the zombies attacked me I immediately became alert and immediately took back a few blows from them. I broke each of their necks and made them fall asleep.
No matter how many I have defeated, the human zombies who are disciples of Deus are still not reduced. Oh hell! How many are they ?!
My limbs starts to ache and my body is very tired. I took a glance at Savienna and it seems like nothing is happening to her, right ... she is trained. His muscle endurance is stronger.
"Oh? The mafia heiress is already tired? But that's not enough, Sabrina. There's more!" Smiling Deus said in the distance. His pride! His damn pride! Annoying!
"Sabrina don't use too much force! Just hit them at the back of their neck!" I heard Pierce shout. I nodded at what he said and followed it.
I stand still and made them come to me and hit their nape one by one. They immediately collapse and seem to shut down all the human zombies villages.
Every human zombies I knock down makes me more nervous. I need to act fast!
"Savienna! Help Psalm! He is getting tired!" I heard Pierce shout, I immediately looked at Psalm and saw that he was really tired.
Fuck. I am starting to panic and I can feel my blood level in my body rising.
I'm so sorry guys, I can't control it anymore.
I took a deep breath and without hesitation immediately rushed to the human zombies. Grabbing their throat out of their skin.
I shook my knuckles and smiled at the human zombies.
I know they are unconscious but who cares?
I noticed that there were almost no human zombies coming out so I wasted no time to approach Abbygayle Viper and pulled her hair with all my might.
"Oh my god !!! You son of a bitch!" Abby slipped out of my grasp so I immediately laughed. That laugh ... that witchy laugh that I didn't expect.
"And you think you can beat me?" He raised an eyebrow at me, I pinched my wrist to calm my heart.
"You are just nothing but Saint's whore. I don't even know why you are here ... I mean, look at you ..." He said and looked at me from head to toe.
"Look at me? Oh well, Abbygayle Viper ... I'm more educated than you are. You should look into your self first before comparing you to me." I laughed saying.
I saw his simple step and the movement of his hands behind him.
"Oh? What? What are you going to do? You're going to attack me? With that small daggers of yours?" I saw the shock in his eyes when I said those words but you also disappeared immediately.
"H-how did you know ?!" He shouted angrily.
"My instinct is stronger than you think, Gayle ....
Or let's just say, I'm better than you? "
"How dare you! I'm stronger than you! You are nothing comapre to me!" I knew that at any moment she would attack me, with that furious face of hers.
I knew he was mad at me. But damn her, because of her I almost killed Saint. She is one of a kind lowclass bitch.
I saw the calm of his face and his laughter with his sharp voice.
"What are you going to do when you find out, you're not a real Lacsamana?" Wait ... what?
What does he mean ... that's impossible! Savienna and I are obviously look a like, and if I am not a real Lacsamana, she is not too!
"Poor Sabrina, that's why your Mommy hates you because you're just Daddy's child to another woman! You're a child outside of your twin!"
I was immediately shaken by Gayle. No ... that's not true. I looked at Savienna and she was even surprised by what Gayle said. I also couldn"t believe what he said.

He is just standing there and watching us!

"Oh, Mother told me. You two are my step sisters! We have the same mother! And it's just sad that she loves you more than me, that's why she left me!" I could hardly hate what Gayle was saying. That's not true!
"That's not true! I am positive that I AM A LACSAMANA!" I can't help but say.
"Well, sadly Sabrina you aren't. You're just an outcast, shame on your blood! You two should be a Viper! Not a Lacsamana!"
Dad has a mistress ... and we are the fruit of Savienna. And Dad's mistress is Gayle's Mom ... that means ... Deus married Dad's mistress, and had Abbygayle Viper. She is our stepsister ....
No ... that's not possible. This is being so delusional. It is impossible for what he says to happen!
"Whatever you say, I am a Lacsamana. By blood and in flesh, and a person like you can't change that fact." Savienna said.
She's right. I am a Lacsamana. I am the daughter of Steve and Katarina Lacsamana, and no one can change that.


"That's enough, Abby." I turned to Deus when he suddenly spoke. I don't understand them. Aside from Abby being my half sister I can't get Deus' point on why he's doing this.
"God, I am just starting! You don't have to stop me." Abby shouted at Deus. Deus swallowed his senses and took a deep breath.
"Gayle. He will arrive in a no time, you have to control yourself. Sabrina is for him to end." Him? Heh? Who are they referring to! Does this mean they are not the root of the problem?
"But Deus ㅡ" Gayle couldn't finish what she was going to say when Deus suddenly slapped her with the back of her palm. I gasped. Even Savienna, Pierce and Psalm could not believe what he witnessed.
"Stop whining my daughter." Deus's tender promise to Gayle. I immediately frowned at Deus' behavior, he is really crazy!
"Who's coming? You lying cunt! What you told us was that when we win you'll tell us where Hellion is!" That make sense to me. Because of what Savienna said I immediately remembered Saint again. Right, where the hell did they hid Saint?
"That was just a prank, I did that just to drain your energy. You know when they say, 'Wait, there's more to come.' So you four people, just wait. Because everyone is coming after the heiress. " Deus simply says.
"Everyone of you will stay here, better behave. Or Hellion will be gone." Deus said smiling and they both walked away with Gayle out of the Ring of Fire.
More lives will be lost. More blood will be shed, this is not the end yet.
"The hell! I want to destroy his fucking face!" Annoyed Pierce said. I just sat on the floor of the Ring of Fire and watched the Human Zombies lying everywhere.
"We need a backup. We can't do it alone." Psalm says.
"Someone is coming. Not only them, there are many of them." He added.
"Who? Who's coming?" Savienna asked. Who is coming? Is that the last opponent? Oh maybe they are many more.
"All I know is Patrick Sudalga is coming." Pierce said sitting on the floor of the Ring Of Fire as well. In fact we were all exhausted sitting in the middle of the Ring Of Fire surrounded by Human Zombies.
"We can't stare at it. My Father will surely kill Sabrina and Saint according to his will." Psalm says.
"It hurts me, but we need to get rid of my father." That's all Psalm said but I know the pain is for him. I've lost my father and I can't handle that either, what else can he do ... seeing his father being killed infront of him.
We all stared at the entrance of the Ring Of Fire when it suddenly opened and I almost dropped my jaw when I saw Mommy walking in.
"Mom!" Savienna shouted and immediately. he approached Mommy. A-what's going on? Is Savienna a traitor? Why is she so close to Mom?
"It's okay Sav. I'm sorry I was late going here. I was a bit interrupted at the Front Gate because there are many guards." I don't get this. Are they okay?
"Where's Sabrina?" I heard Mommy's question, they immediately looked at me and I couldn't believe the way Mommy looked at me.
She is admiring me. What is happening.
"Sab, baby. I'm so sorry for the things I've cost you ..." I couldn't help but sigh because of the words that came out of Mommy's mouth.
I immediately stood up and approached Mommy. She just smiled at me and patted my head.
"You and your sister are a very good daughters." She said smiling.
"Your dad must be very proud of you." I can only nod in response to Mommy.
"Isn't that mad at me?" I asked her.
"I was never angry at you my daughter, Mommy was just furious and scared back then so I did that. But remember, I always love you two." I smiled at what Mommy said.
"I love you too, Mom."
"Thankyou even though you knew we weren't your real children, you still loved us." I said smiling.
I saw the shock on Mommy's face but she immediately took it back. "How did you know?"
"Abby told us earlier." Savienna said. I nodded to Savienna.
"Even if you don't come from me, I still consider you a child. And I am very sorry for making you two suffer for my consequences." Mommy said and I was surprised that tears were already dripping from her eyes. She never cried infront of me!
"I am so stupid for not realizing the trouble that I just made." I smiled at Mommy.
"It's already happened Mom. And I don't blame you for anything that has happened." I said smiling. He nodded at me and Savienna and I hugged.
"Thankyou, Savienna and Sabrina for still accepting me."
"Yeah, but let's cut all the dramas because Sabrina's fiancée is waiting to be saved." I laughed at what Savienna said and so did Pierce and Psalm.
"Speaking of Santillana, where is he?" Mommy asked me.
"God hid him somewhere." Mommy nodded at me.
"They will get Hellion out when Patrick Sudalga has arrived. Let's just wait and get ready." Pierce said.
"Better be ready, Sabrina." Mommy whispered to me and somehow I was relieved because Mommy and Savienna were just here next to me.
"Everyone, get yourself ready. A war has been set. And this will be the bloodiest one."
This is a war. And we need to win.
'Don't be too public' was the last thing Mommy said to me before she left to position her mafia. We are supposed to be the bait here. Because we will catch Deus and Patrick Sudalga at the same time, and save Saint and get out of this shitty place.
Mom said let's just wait for Patrick Sudalga to come out, and shout our surname. That's how the other mafias will back us up to help us catch Deus and Patrick.
Suddenly the door opened again where Deus had come out earlier. And I almost choked when I saw Saint with an emotionless face and holding a gun. They drugged him! They poisoned him!
Saint is like a human zombie now!
"The plan with you didn't work earlier, so Hellion is the only one we thought would be the next to obey us. He's been polite as ever since then." Smiling Deus said, while looking at me.
"My daughter and I planned to kill each everyone of you and after that, we will make Saint Santillana the pet of us. Isn't that so great?" Deus asked us, but no one answered.
I looked around and was surprised there were more human zombies here. Their numbers increased even more, and they were in possession of weapons.
Psalm said earlier that they will release Saint when Patrick is here. Is he here? I looked at Psalm and he shook his head at me, signaling me to say that Patrick was not here yet.
Did they have a different plan?
"This is not fair!" Annoyed Savienna said to Deus.
"Whatever, Darling. Everything is not fair in this world." Smiling Deus said. What is his true motive?
"What do you really want?" I asked her.
"Power. Sabrina, POWER. And me as the highest mafia boss in this organization. And that will only happen when the Lacsamana Heiress and the Santillana Empire are gone." Smiling Deus said.
"But I don't get the fact that you still need to involve other people! You can just peacefully do this without harming anyone!" I answer with him. He shook his head slowly at what I said.
"Nope. Sabrina, you need to understand the fact too that everything should be fun. I can't start a boring game right?" Man. This is crazy. He is crazy!
"You know what? I'm so done with you." I heard Savienna say and I was surprised when she suddenly rushed to Deus in an incredible speed and Deus almost didn't notice that.
But sadly, Deus' instincts are too good to avoid Savienna's attack. I could clearly see the shock in Savienna's eyes but what made me more nervous was the gradual darkening of her eyes. Her bloodlust. Oh no.
In a flash Savienna immediately changed direction and we just found her behind Abbygayle Viper.
"Everyone, get ready. Savienna let a wrong move so that the servant of Deus may attack us." I whispered softly to Psalm and Pierce and they nodded at me.
"What can you say Deus? Me ending your precious daughter's life." Smiling Savienna said to Deus, but it seemed like nothing was happening to Deus and she laughed.
"As if you can beat my daughter. I trained her well, Miss Lacsamana. You can't beat her." Deus said calmly but in a flash my eyes widened as Abbygayle's body suddenly flung to the other side of the Ring of Fire.
I remember this, this is also what he did to Aubrey then. She kicked her hard almost breaking her bones.
"She's squishy. I like it." Savienna said smiling.
"What now, Deus? Where are you so proud of?" Savienna asked Deus with a raised eyebrow.
"You'll regret what you did." Deus said in a low tone and snapped his finger. One of Deus' Human Zombies immediately moved and immediately approached Savienna.
The Human Zombie injected something at Savienna. Savienna was unaware of the syringe flying towards her.
But Deus' jaw was about to drop when Savienna slowly removed the syringe that had been stuck in his neck.
She laughed very hard. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Pierce was about to approach but I immediately stopped him. We can't risk one another to save Savienna, she can do it herself I know that.
He"s smart, and I know he won"t rush that he knows he"s just going to lose.
"Listen here old hag, I am Savienna Lacsamana. I am trained and tortured, my body is immune to poison ... and I can't easily feel pain by just punching my whole body. My body is numb in any physical attack. Aren't I amazing? " Smiling Savienna said. Somehow I thanked Mommy for letting Savienna endure this much pain, because that's also a big advantage for her.
"W-what a-are you? A-are you a h-human?" This is the first time I have seen fear in the eyes of Deus. And it's Savienna who'll receive that credit.
"Yes I am a human of course. Just a little advanced and stronger." Savienna said smiling. That smile of hers that is intimidating is also scary.
"What the hell ?! Are you a monster ?! The poison that was injected to you a while ago should make you unconscious and dead in a minute. But .. But why?" Unbelievable says Deus.
"Oh you dummy dumb, of course I'm not a monster I am ㅡ" Savienna's words were interrupted by a sudden resounding voice that suddenly spoke inside the Ring of Fire.
"She is Savienna Lacsamana, my successful experiment .."
All my nervousness got worse when I heard the voice there. He's already here...
