22 - Shone Brightly
"Yeah, I'm fine, Berkham; you have another subject," she nodded.
"Don't worry about it."It just laughed and scratched. I won't be able to come in. If you want, I'll take you home," he said graciously.
She accepted the offer to take her to her condo because she had already missed the next subject. She requires rest.
Amara looked at her scratches slowly as she faced the large mirror in her condo's bathroom. She was defeated because her claws were too short. But she was aware that pulling the woman's hair, which she intended to shave, was painful.
When she came out, she was taken aback to see Trinity and Azael sitting on the sofa. They speak as if they've known each other for years. What on earth is the man doing inside her condo?! she wanted to drive it away, but Trinity beat her to it.
"Hello Amara, I was on my way to your unit when I noticed your older brother, so I brought her here because she's your older brother as well and wanted to talk to you. I like your brother; he's very nice! I wish I could have a brother like him.”
That's right, the woman has no idea who is mediating between them. How tall a barrier stood between their two siblings.
She gave a wry smile. "What would you like to drink? Coffee and tea—"
"Don't bother," Azael said flatly.
She turned away and went to the kitchen. She couldn't bear looking at its face, and she didn't want them to be anywhere. Its face was nauseating, and even though Trinity was in front of them, she might not be able to stop slapping it.
"Amara, gaga, I have to go! My mother had called." The woman cried out loudly from the living room.
It was out before she could say 'don't leave her alone.' she was overcome with nervousness and fear. She, on the other hand, will not be overcome by fear.
She chose to calm herself and return to the living room where Azael was, but she couldn't do so any longer. It was already in the opening of the kitchen door, and she was given a cold look.
"I saw you and Penelope's video—"
"Get lost," she interrupted herself and went to the refrigerator. She took a drink from the pitcher without hesitation. She despises him. She was too stubborn to get rid of it.
Azael did not respond, but she was surprised when he grabbed her arm. It was tense, and the way it was handled was excruciating. "So you agreed to our parents' request?"
She wasn't stupid enough to not understand what it meant. It alludes to her wedding to Theon. She grinned and bravely faced it, despite the fact that the way she held it in her arm hurt her.
"Yes, there's nothing wrong with that; I love Theon, and he loves me, so we'll get married—" She screamed in shock as she pushed her to one side and slammed into the concrete wall.
She saw only anger on its face, and she smiled. That's all it takes to wake him up to mania and let her go; she doesn't care how it feels.
"I'm not going to let that happen; you're mine."
"You don't own me, and I will never be with you!" she slapped it hard and pushed it away from her with all her might.
When he spoke, she stood tall.
"Then I'll mark you as MINE once more."
She struggled as he grabbed her arm and kissed her passionately without saying a word. She wanted to shout and get lost, but she leaned her to one side again and used force to keep from getting lost. Azael was tall and big, and whatever she tried to get away from was futile. The way he kissed her was painful, and she could taste the blood from her lips.
She wanted to scream for help, but doing so would just give Azael an excuse to take over her. She burst into tears, but her tears were useless as it began to caress her neck up to her chest.
It's so demonic! Has it been said that it has a different purpose in Australia? she wept more as his lip dropped to her neck and marked her.
"You're mine, Mara," he said before walking away.
Her knees trembled as she sat on the floor, her tears falling, and she became even more angry with the young man. Even if it dies, she will not forgive it! Just be patient, and she will marry Theon soon. her brother was angry and had to stop being angry at her.
She entered as if nothing had happened; she was too beautiful to ruin her day, and... She stopped walking down the corridor when someone caught her eye, and she quickly averted her gaze when she saw Azael deliver the bronze-looking Penelope.
She slowly prayed that her senior year would be over and that she would be able to escape this place. She thought, it can't follow her or know where she is, but she seems to have underestimated its ability too much. The hiding she did was not enough to escape Azael.
"Amara!" At which point Trinity burst into tears.
"Miracle, and you don't have any food with you?" she frowned.
She laughed just as they walked into their first subject that day.
"Yeah, maybe later; have you heard the news?" It was a weak question, and she stared at her for a few moments.
"Did someone get the wrong guy with you?" she asked, suddenly serious. "Are you pregnant? Have a boyfriend? Something twisted?" she covered her mouth.
"Sir, that's not it; what I mean is, Penelope is said to have gotten engaged last night, and do you know who proposed... God, Amara! Your older brother!"
Trinity's words did not immediately register in her brain, as if a bomb had been detonated, and she was suddenly loading. Wow! she exclaimed, unsure whether to celebrate or not.
"What happened to your neck, by the way?"
She quickly covered her neck with a scarf and continued walking. Well, one thing she is certain of, and that is that she doesn't care even if Azael invites all women in the Philippines to get married. She didn't know what game it wanted to happen, but she was prepared. She doubled the lock on her unit and installed a security camera.
"Wait, aren't you in the scene? Like you'll let your handsome brother go?" the woman yelled.
"Leave him alone; we're not even close."
It looked at her, as if she wanted to say something, but instead chose to remain silent and follow in her footsteps.
What would she think if she discovered the true distance between her and Azael? Is it as repulsive as the disgust she felt?
Some of the students were distracted and murmured when they saw her, but she doesn't care. She is instantly famous now because of the chaos that occurred the other day, and others avoid her as if she were contagious. She is not affected or trained, so she has no friends in her previous job.
"What are you looking at? I'm going to pierce your eyes, eh?" Trinity's eyes shone brightly.
She just laughed, knowing that every student they passed didn't get it.
