9 - Work Hard

She slipped out of time when her feet collided with the rock and burst into tears. It's a good thing she didn't break her hip and her camera. Her older brother had given her the camera on her 15th birthday and it was her favorite.

"Mara!" Azael was now in front of her, its whole face filled with worry and anxiety; why didn't she detect his approach? Maybe it's because she's too preoccupied with her tears, but her hip, it's extremely painful. It carried her like a kid without saying a word.

"Someone crawled on my leg," she pouted, her hip pain unbearable; it even scolded her. "It must be a snake!" she exclaimed.

She heard their companions' footsteps a few moments later.

"You guys keep going. I'll take my sister outside and follow."

They were both fine at the same moment. Except for Annabelle, who despite hearing her older brother whine, obeyed what he said. While Azael carried her in his arms. Even though it was dark outside, she saw that her cheek had turned crimson for no apparent reason. She secretly squeezed her own cheek as she stroked it.

"That's what you get for being a pain in the neck," he grumbled as he took a step forward.

"Pain in the neck," she said, imitating his tone and making a face. "Can you tell me where Theon is? She must be the one to assist me! " she screamed angrily.

"Be quiet!"

She fell silent suddenly, like a cowardly dog, and she stopped talking. She just quietly made a face because she knew he wouldn't see her because it was so dark.

"It's my name you called first."

"I was just taken aback, that's why—"

"I told you to shut up!"

Her snout was lowered and her arms were crossed; she shouldn't have played with Azael, she shouldn't have been inside, but she still wanted to jump into the cave's central pool, and now she was hurt.

Isn't her beauty weighing her down? She believes her hips are severely wounded, and she is frightened of losing her ability to walk. Oh, my goodness! It's not possible! Kidding. But it's fine if this is how Azael always carries her. She burst out laughing, but she quickly got solemn when she gazed at him and marveled at him.

"Brother!" She called him out.

It remained silent.

"Brother?"

He hasn't responded yet. While he is carrying her, it continues to walk.

"Brother!!!"

It was still deafeningly quiet.

"What the hell, Azael! Are you deaf?"

He gave her a quick look, and she's not sure if she saw a smile on her face because his flashlight was focused on her for a brief minute.

"Shut up or I'm going to drop you, stupid."

She fell silent almost instantly when she realized they weren't close and she was still sulking here. She was like a child in its arms as she peered into the air. It makes no difference where the rocks are or what they're traveling through. It's just uncomfortable because it's so chilly outside. Isn't it lovely? Her entire face was flushed. No! Her older brother, her older brother, it's him. Brother. Brother

She simply stared at his enticing, dangerous jaw, as her classmates described it. She couldn't figure out where the lethal jaw came from, but she seemed to know when she was being carried. According to the strange sensation she gets whenever she looks at Azael.

God! Why is he so flawless? She reached out and softly brushed Azael's cheek. It had smoother skin than she did. It was taken aback by what she did, but when she squeezed it, it was caught off guard. Her older brother's adorably cuddly bear. That's right, the attractive one!

"Amara, put a stop to it."

She smiled. Never! She'd only had a chance to pinch its cheek now.

"Mara!" it exclaimed, a warning to her.

"It's like 'We Bare Bear' when it comes to cuteness! Can you be mine?" She laughed while her two hands were now squeezing his cheek.

"Cut the nonsense! Mara, are you going to stop doing that?" He muttered, "I'm starting to lose focus."

She burst out laughing. They're no longer apart; they've reconnected again. She was laughing out loud like a fool. She couldn't really blame Azael if her excessive noise knocked her down. Because she was too preoccupied with squeezing his cheek... When Azael walked on the watery rock, she felt him lose his equilibrium.

"Damn!"

"Omo!"

They were both taken aback when he slipped and they both plunged into the freezing water, which was just knee-deep.

"It's chilly!!!" she exclaimed.

“Fuck! Did you notice what you've done?"

She smiled. Every left hand, they say, has a right hand. Kidding. She sprayed him with water as quickly as she could. In the freezing weather, he screamed.

"Shut up, brat!"

She laughed out loud and spray him again. She made it stronger so it could take a bath in no time. When he retaliated, she screamed in the cold. She believes it is inviting her to a water fight!

She rose up immediately, despite the discomfort in her hip, and played water throwing with her brother. It made her and him both giggle. They didn't seem to mind that they were the only two people in the cave.

When she lost her footing in the retreat as a result of the intense spray of water on her, she lost balance.

“Aayyy!”

"I got you!" Azael snatched her hand and drew her close to his body.

At the time, she was too taken aback by their position. Her heart was almost bursting out of her chest at the same moment it was thumping.

She pushed Azael away fast.

"All right, I'll take you out." Azael offered to lift her properly, but she declined.

"I can walk," she said as she took a rapid step.

But the truth is that her hip is still bothering her. She just didn't want to get near to him since her heart was racing differently, which she found strange. And while they were in the cave, Azael was still able to keep up with her, especially because they were going up and down. Even if she repeatedly pushes him away, he will not listen. Azael was merely mocking her about her obstinacy.

When she was slightly slick, Azael remarked, "You're so stubborn, Mara. You're like a child!"

She smirked and embarrassed at the same time. Child? Is she still wearing a diaper and sipping milk from a bottle? What if she slammed her fist into his stomach?

She was fatigued when she made it to the cave's exit. But there's a major hurdle: the stairs. Because there were still stairs to get out, she wanted to cry. Her knee is aching.

"Are you tired?" He mock her.

"Nope! "I'm only lovely, but I never feel weary," she said as she took another step forward. She couldn't handle whatever it was thinking. Why is it still here, trailing behind her?

"You can go back now, and I'll take care of myself and wait in the car," she added, rolling her eyes.

Azael simply strolled over to her first, as if he hadn't heard her. Look at her brother's bravado! Are they actually brothers and sisters? Why is he demonic?

It doesn't even bring a grin on her face. The number of times it smiles at her can be counted on one hand. Its ability to get angry and laugh is even better for other ladies and her pals. In the case of her, he had to work hard to notice her ugliness. Argh! She despises Azael.
