I still love him. This man that I have always loved deep down If I am completely honest with myself. I knew that it will kill me if I lose him again.



“I…missed…you…so much.” I say clasping onto ryan as I sob out, gasping as the emotions over take me.



“Em, ” He says, looking into my eyes "I'm not going anywhere baby, I'm right here and I'm never leaving your side" He pulls me closer to his hard body.

“Talk to me, baby, What's going in the cute little head of yours?” He says his eyes showing glimmers of his wolf seeping through.



“It was just so much, So much emotion flooding through my system at once, Everything I hide away in my brain, just everything, I made myself try to hate you for leaving us, But I never could" I hiccup a sob,

My wet eyes meeting his shocked ones. “ Baby girl, I lived in hell for years, and I came for you when I broke her control but those years were nothing, Nothing like the pain of losing you, I thought you were dead.”



"You came for me?” I ask,



“Baby, of course I came for you, I am your's I always have been” he chokes out, “I got over the hill ready to take on my entire family for you and then I felt you disappear your wolf was gone and I couldn't feel you any longer and my heart broke.”



“But, I won’t let you go, Emilia, Never. You’re mine naby girlow b”



“I always have been yours, you know that, don’t you?”

And with a bright smile that reaches all the way to his beautiful eyes, he pulls me tighter and places a soft kiss to my shoulder, my neck, and my ear before whispering, “Oh yeah baby, I know.”



"Everything now, we will face together baby girl." He says kissing me softly.

It had been over a month since I came to ryan's between the constant love making and the hunting of the physco ex wife. Ryan likes to joke that he is making up for lost time. A joke that often falls short because it would always remind me of the time we spent apart. I had been happy staring at my half naked mate

“Stop, princess before I eat you right here. " He says warning me to keep my sexy fucking mouth closed.

We continue in a comfortable silence while he finishes up the grilling and I finish my reflecting.





“ What are you thinking about ?"

Sighing I look up in to his eyes. He doesn’t look mad, just confused. His gaze is searching.

I choke down the nervous sob that starts up my throat but I am helpless to clench the tears that flow lightly down my cheeks.

for once I am happy and I am loved



We haven’t spent a large amount of time with our friends but we have had a few nights out with them for dinner or drinking.

We had been back to ‘us’ for three weeks when he told me I was moving in. There wasn’t any room for arguments and honestly, I wasn’t going to put up any. It might seem soon to most, but with all the time we had lost it made sense for us. We made the pact to move forward and that’s what we are doing. Picking up the pieces that we had lost and putting them back together.
