"Morning, Beta. I had better ones but thanks to remind me. Do you have any good news for me?"I ask him curiously. I hope he has some good news for me but his face tells me otherwise.

"Unfortunately no but I hired someone to investigate her. He is a professional and has very good preferences. Hopefully, soon he will contact me."He answers naturally like he used to.

"Good. Anything else?"I ask him while looking through the papers on my desk.

"Oh yes. The Elders Council decided that you have to choose a Luna for the Silver Moon Pack. They gave us a list of possible candidates."He says with a smug smirk on his face. He almost laughs at me but holds back himself. Good for him because nobody bugs him to mate with someone. We are both twenty-five years old and single. "What? Are you serious?"I scream at him and I immediately stand on my feet. How can they do such a thing behind my back? They didn't even invite me to that meeting so I have no idea about it. I can't speak up to defend myself.

"Did you check the list? What do you think of them? What do you suggest, brother?


"Of course I did. A couple is very impressive but not so pretty at all. You just need to pick one and mate with her. If I were in your place I wouldn't pick any of them. We just need some time to gain and you can find a perfect one who will be perfect for the Luna title."He stands up and walks to my desk. He pats my shoulder to show me some sympathy. But a little smirk also shows the corner of his mouth. I know that look and I really like it.

"Do you have any plans?"I ask while leaning back to the back of my chair. I raise my eyebrow and search for any clue about him lying to me.

"You know me so well. Of course, I have a plan but first, let's eat our breakfast. I am starving."Just as he says this a knock is heard on the door. Two omega walks into the room and pushes a buffet car full of food. Yummy. My stomach growls when I see it. Just in time for me as well. Dario chuckles and looks at me with his innocent blue eyes. We thank the omegas and they quickly leave the room. Dario and I quickly put a plate full of food and eat all of it. While we eat he tells me his plan and we agree to some changes in it, but in the end, I need to say it is a brilliant idea. The rest of the day I spent with paperwork and looking after my pack members' problems. It is good to be an Alpha because when I say something then they need to agree with my decision and accept it.
