Goodbye to Alex

Alex and I argued about this new situation last night but I told him that everything will be alright and we will get over it sooner than we thought. We slept a couple of hours but not much. Both of our minds are full of thoughts about what we should do in this situation. We just turn and toss in bed until we finally fall asleep. Alex is still asleep but I can't sleep anymore. Not when every minute counts before I have to leave.

I sneak out of our room quietly to make a surprise. I make some breakfast to melt their hearts. They are the only two who I can count on after I left my family. They are my new family and I never want to lose them ever. I will miss them so much. I can't imagine what I will do at Alpha Mason house. I woke up Alex with a nice kiss and he smiled at me. We had a nice breakfast with French toast and my stomach loved it. My baby is like me, if it comes to food. While we ate our breakfast, I told Janet everything. She argued also in the beginning but was by my side as always no matter what. She is so excited to see my baby after is born and be his godmother. I am not sure if it is possible after that the baby will stay with Alpha Mason. Alex and I already plan to have our common baby after this one. A year or two together and just the two of us enjoying our life together before we start a family. This is a promise to keep us fighting to go through each day until our time comes.

After the phone call with the Alpha, I feel a little angry. I can't believe this man. He thinks he can fix everything and even doesn't let me finish my speech. I gather my things which are not much after I left my family. I have some new clothes for work but not much. I try to save as much money as possible. If something bad happens then I don't need to be without it. Alex helped me pack but I still feel his anger. I took a quick shower to not look so dirty for the Alpha. Who knows? Maybe he can smell it if I sweat because I run since the morning. Alex joined me under the water and we took our time and shared long passionate kisses. We finish drying our bodies and already get dressed. I wear a pair of jeans with a pink fluffy sweater. It is comfy and warm because it is cold outside. Not much time left until the car arrive to pick me up.


"I don't want you to leave me. I want to wake up every day you're in my arms. Promise me to call me every day."He says and pulls me against his chest and wraps his arms around my waist and holds me in a warm embrace. He kisses me on the top of my head, to show me how much he loves me.

"Same here. I feel so sad to leave you alone for a while. I promise because I love to hear your voice."I put his hand on top of my heart as a promise to never break it no matter what.

"Please be safe. Whenever it happens and if he hurts you just give me a call and I will be there as fast as possible."He puts his finger under my chin and lifts my face so I need to look into his beautiful dark brown eyes.

"I will. Don't worry about me. I am an adult after all and I can handle myself."I answer him honestly because I don't have anything to hide from him, only a little bit of information about the baby's father. Unfortunately, I didn't tell him about the baby's father's real species. I think he would react like me or never let me leave this house. If I am really in danger because I carry his heir then I might be in perfect hands with the father. He will surely protect us and not let anything bad happen to us.

"Sure, but I know how many bad guys are out there on the streets. I meet them every day. Even the angel-face ones are all rotted inside. I am just worried about you. I love you, Chloe."He lifts a hand to tuck a stray hair behind my ear. I blush even though I faced him before, maybe a thousand times. He leans closer and his mouth claims mine gently. His tongue asks for permission to enter mine. Without hesitation, I part my lips and allow him in. I taste him while he holds me closer to him. He kisses me like I am the most precious thing he could ever have and never wants to let me go. I feel the same but I have to do this for the baby. He is innocent and he needs a parent to be close to him and take care of him.

"I love you too, Alex. I know I will be careful. I never imagined my family as wolves in sheep's clothes. So I am always careful after that experience."I say to him when we pull apart to fill my lungs with some fresh air. I want it to continue but suddenly we hear a car honk not far from us.

I walk to the window to check out. A big Cadillac SUV waits in front of our front door. I see two figures in the car dressed in black suits, but I can't see their faces because of the tinted windows. When they get out of the car they look elegant and those suits are handmade. I know because of my rich family. My father used to order a couple of them for himself and Derek also. I look at the clock and I see they arrive earlier than Alpha Mason said. Whatever. The countdown starts now. They get out of the car and start to walk to our front door. Omg, they are so tall and muscular. I can still clearly see all the muscles under the suit. One of them has longer darker hair while the other has blondish shorter chopped hair. The blondy rings the doorbell and we know our time is over for a while.

"They are here for you. I will help with your packs. Call me when you settle in your temporary home. Don't forget to call me even if it is in the middle of the night."Alex kisses me. After he lets go of my lips he grabs the bags and reminds me not to be afraid to reach him.

"Thank you for everything. I will miss you and I will call you for sure."I pick up one of the small bags and start to walk to the front door. I say my quick goodbye to Janet and we both share some sad tears. It will be hard but I will be back soon and hopefully, I can meet them. The suit guys wait for us near the SUV and stand straight. Their gazes are hard and I can't read anything from it.

"Ms. Smith?"The darker hair speaks up.

"Yes, it is me."I answer him calmly.

"Good. We came earlier. I hope it is not a problem."The blonde one suddenly speaks up with a smug smile on his face. I don't like him at all and I have no idea what his problem is. Does he always behave like this with others as well?

"No problem. We just finished with packaging."Alex interrupts our conversation. He might feel the way I look at the blonde that I would say something inappropriate in the next second.

"Do you need any help with your packages?"The darker steps closer and look at our packages.

"No thanks. That is all I have that you see."I point the big luggage near Alex and my small bag in my hand. The trunk door opens and Alex puts my bag in it. I keep the small one on my shoulder and close to me.

"Fine. If you are ready we can leave."The blonde one says while the dark-haired one opens the back door for me. The blonde hops in the driver's seat but the other waits for me patiently and turns his back to us to give us some privacy. Alex wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer. His eyes tell everything when our gaze meets. No words are needed, because we already told them before. His gaze runs through my body and memorizes every detail of me just as I do. Our gazes meet and he puts his hands on both sides of my side. His thumb caresses my cheeks and pulls me closer. His warm lips crash with mine and melt into a hot goodbye kiss. I feel my heart break a little to leave him but I have no choice. After this, we will continue our happy life together and plan our future. His tongue dominates the kiss but I don't mind because he is my love. I clench his shirt in my palm and keep him close to me. A honk hears from really close and makes us separate. That blonde one plays with his balls for sure. What a j*erk. I make a face with apologies for facing Alex.

"I love you, Chloe. Please come back to me and contact me."He intertwines our hands and caresses the top of my hand with his thumb. I see tears gathering in the corner of his eyes just like mine.

"I love you too, Alex, and I will come back to you. We need more of our time after all of this. I promise to be safe and contact you."I stand on my tiptoes and peck his lips. It is a light kiss but all my love is in it.

The back door is still open and I slowly walk there hand in hand with Alex. He helps me climb into the car and fasten my seatbelt. He close the door after he pecks my lips last time for a while. He closes the door and I can see him but he can't see inside the car because of the tinted glasses. I do not even have a second to say something because the blonde guy steps on the accelerator and speeds up. I did not even realize that the other person got into the car also. I turn around to see Alex still looking after our car while it vanishes in the distance. Now I am completely alone and only the baby will accompany me. I am strong and I can do it. I repeat this sentence to myself while caressing my little bump. We are traveling for a while when I realize that we leave the city. I thought he lives in the city, not outside of it. I guess rich people can do everything. We drive for a while again when I can only see trees around us.

We are in the woods and nobody is around us. I hope they don't bring me here to kill me. I saw so many horror movies that did not end well. If they try anything with me I have pepper spray in my bag just in case to meet any bad guy. Soon we arrived in front of a huge metal gate. On both sides of the gate are two observation towers and men walk on them while examining our car. They look so young. The youngest looks like in his middle 20s while the oldest one is around forty. They only wear trousers and some fur vests on their bodies. Some of them come to our car and start to speak with my two bodyguards. They really look like bodyguards. They greet each other with a friendly tone and handshake as well. They speak about something when all eyes are suddenly on me. I feel so embarrassed and look away from their curious gazes. They stop talking and the huge gate starts to open. We roll through it and drive for a while until I see a huge mansion in the middle of the woods. It is two stories high but with many windows. We park in front of the front door. The doors open wide and Alpha Mason Russell walks through it with his Beta Dario Bianchi following him close. Interesting. He comes to welcome me to my new temporary home.
