The doctor calls her name and my heartbeat increases immediately. Her voice is like an angel singing. Chloe's waterlily scent fills the room not long after the door closes behind her. I want to see her in real life, not just in pictures. She might be prettier than in the image. I wait for the perfect moment to show up in front of her. She is very patient all the time even when the doctor takes some blood from her. She said she is pregnant and all my breath runs out of my lungs. Could she be pregnant after our one-night stand or by her boyfriend? Dario looks at me and a smirk shows on his face. A*sshole. He thinks it is funny but no. I have to hold back Myself and keep listening to what they say. After the test result shows that she is really pregnant and confessed that her baby's father might be somebody else and not his current boyfriend. I feel Ryder prick up his ears so we can hear more clearly. I don't think she is sleeping around so it is true. She is carrying my baby in her belly. Life is so full of surprises. I never imagined that she would end up with a baby because she is not my mate. So how is this possible? When she mentioned about putting my baby up for adoption that was the last I could take it. Hell no. No one gets my baby, not even over my dead body. A growl escapes from me and I feel Ryder try to take control. I quickly stand on my feet and push the curtain which separates us. Dario follows me and almost laughs when he realizes that I am about to lose control.


"Hell no. You won't give my baby up for adoption."I shout at her. I can see a little fear in her eyes but she quickly covers it. She looks brave now and crosses her arms in front of her chest.

"Excuse me, who are you, and why are you here? It is a private examination no men are allowed to attend. Especially someone who is not even my boyfriend."She speaks up but I can hear some fear in her voice.

"My name is Mason Russell and this is my best friend Dario Bianchi."I point to myself and after my as*shole friend behind me. I still feel his smile on me even though he is standing behind me. "Nice to meet you, Chloe Smith."I smile at her.

"I still don't know who you are. It is not your business if I give up adoption to my baby."She spits out every word and I can see the anger rise inside her. Such a fierce woman she is.

"It is my business because it is Mine. We had a one-night stand together. You were drunk and you entered the wrong room."I tell her and lean closer to her face. Her eyes widen but I am not done with her.

"I still remember how you begged me for inside you and every moan which left your lips. I was your first in your tight virgin p*ussy and I know you still remember me. Room 206 nine weeks ago. Do you recognize my voice, Little impatient girl?"I whisper into her ear so only she can hear it. I know the exact date because it was burned in my brain. "You..you."She repeats the same word and watches me with curious eyes but nothing else. I know that I am handsome and she can't find the right word.

"Yes, it was me. Finally meet you, Chloe."I hold my hand for a shake. She slowly reaches out for my hand and shakes hands. Her hand feels colder against mine but I am a werewolf so I have a constant body temperature. She quickly pulls back her hand and I can see her cheeks blush. She slides backward on her chair to get as much between us as possible.

"Mr.Russell, even if it was you I can do whatever I want with the baby in my belly."She puts her hands protectively over her belly while she speaks about the baby.

"True, if the father doesn't know anything about the baby. But because now I know about the baby I want you to give birth to the baby and give me after it. It is my blood and I don't want anybody else to raise my child. Dr. Long, please continue your examination."I order the doctor with my Alpha voice and she immediately continues. She brings her ultrasound machine closer and turns it on the machine.

"Miss Smith please lift up your blouse. I want to check out the baby so after we can discuss everything."The doctor looks at her nicely and she follows what she says. Her silky skin is in front of me. I can already see a little baby bump and it looks good for her. The last time we were together her stomach was flat but now my baby is growing inside her body. Chloe looks annoyed and doesn't dare to look at me.

"This will be a little cold but we need this to scan the inside of your tummy."The doctor warns her and puts some gel on her belly. She turns on the machine and puts the wand probe on her belly. The display immediately shows up black and white shadows. We can see the inside of her womb and a little baby form in it. Some teardrops gather in the corner of my eyes. I need to look strong so I hold myself back.

"So I think everybody clearly sees the baby in the uterus. The baby's size looks normal according to what you said about your last period. The baby sizes are equal for a 14-week long pregnancy."The doctor explains the things we can see on the display.

"Wait. Fourteen weeks? How is that possible? It can only be eight weeks long, not much more."She speaks with panic in her voice. We slept together nine weeks ago but our case is different from others and she will find out soon.

"Because the baby's father is an Alpha it is normal in werewolf pregnancy. Werewolves' pregnancies are shorter than normal pregnancies. The babies grow faster than a normal human."The doctor points to me and I am proud of myself. Of course, I am a werewolf and I will be a father. I can't believe how that happened because she is not my mate and also a human. My wolf howls in excitement so loud in my head. That will change everything with the council and I might not need to choose a Luna. They want an heir. No problem, it is on the way.

"Alpha? Werewolf? What are you talking about? Sorry for asking this but are you drunk Dr. Long or did you read too many paranormal books? Werewolves do not exist."Chloe asks and laughs out. She is cute and she thinks it is a joke but she will see it with her own eyes.

"Werewolves exist and the two men behind me are both werewolves. Mason Russell is the Alpha and Dario Bianchi is his Beta."Doctor Long answers to her honestly but Chloe just snorts.

"Yes, right. Thanks for everything doctor but I suddenly remembered something important to do now. See you and you too Mr. Russell and Mr. Bianchi."Chloe pushes away the wand probe and fixes her clothes before standing up and ready to leave. Not again. I won't let her disappear ever again.

"Chloe. You're not allowed to leave. The doctor should finish the examination."I raise my voice and use my Alpha voice. The doctor shakes behind me because her body immediately obeys me but Chloe. I don't see any fear, pain, or hesitation in her eyes. Her body looks relaxed also.

"Really? And who are you to order me around?"She looks deep into my eyes while asking me. She stands still and looks like a real fighter. I didn't know that she was this strong. It surprises me but at the same time makes me proud also. My baby will be a fighter as well and mixed with my DNA it might be a very powerful one. Let's see how you react next.
