GOING HOME

Ivy snuggles under a big blanket as she buries her face on a pillow. Her cheeks red, her face puffy, her eyes dry, she's already tired of crying.

She hears the door of her hotel room open, making her lift her head. "Go away!" She yells.

"How dare you ditch us? This is the worst bachelorette ever, even Lucy is getting cold feet about getting married." Lili yells as she walks into Ivy's room.

"Tell her not to, Marriage is the biggest sham there is." Ivy mumbles on her pillow.

"What?" Lili says walking up to the bed, she throws the blanket away from Ivy's body.

"Hey," Ivy yells, looking up at her sister.

"You look like you just had an allergic reaction," Lili says, dragging Ivy's hand up to make her sit up.

"W-what do you want?" Ivy says angrily. She is upset at everything and everyone. She has no patience for her sister's bullshit.

"Were you crying?" Lili's sassy tone disappears and now her tone is laced with worry. She hasn't seen her twin cry since the time she pushed her down the stairs by mistake.

"No, can you please leave?" Ivy glares at her sister who doesn't care about anyone but herself. If Ivy needs anyone to talk to right now, it will be Meghan. Ivy had wanted to call Meghan when she left Wilder's room where another set of heat break was opened to her but she doesn't want to ruin her date.

"Come on, I might be an ass but you can always talk to me." Lili insists.

Ivy considers talking about her pain to her twin and it feels weird. They never talk, they insult each other, fight but heart to heart, that's just awkward.

"It's Cole," Ivy whispers, not believing that she is actually talking to Lili.

~~~~~
"Whoa," For the first time, Lili is speechless. She always had enough to say about every situation.
Ivy waits for her sister to says something to make her feel better but nothing comes out. She knew that she shouldn't have said anything. Ivy falls on her bed, "Yeah," She mutters to herself.
Lili falls on the bed along with her sister, she puts her arms around her body as she removes the strands of hair from covering Ivy's face.
"Have I been playing myself for these years?" Ivy asks,
"The only person that has been playing herself for years is me." Lili shakes her head.
"What do you mean?" Ivy asks, removing the strands of hair covering her sister's face as well.
"I li-lied when I said my marriage is perfect. It's far from perfect." A tear drops from Lili's eyes rolling down the corner of her eyes. Ivy brings her hand on her sister's cheeks cleaning it. "It's broken."
"Jason is just..." Lili stops, "He's a mess."
"Drugs and girls. I can't even keep up with the bitches he sleeps with. He could leave home for days and appear out of the blue feeling remorseful and stupid me, I always forgive him." Lili says truthfully.
She has never told anyone about Jason, not even Lucy.
"I want to believe he can change but he never changes and it's depressing. Jessica never kissed him, it's all Jason's doing but I cut off my best friend for him. I thought that would be his last straw but it isn't." Lili shakes her head in embarrassment.
"He was so different when I first met him. He was so hardworking and passionate back when he was on his first tv show, now he just a different person."
The room falls silent, the twins staring at each other feeling closer than ever with their shared heartbreak.
"How did we end up like this? How didn't we see the red flags?"Ivy asks.
"We saw it but we ignored. I guess divorce was never an option for us after what we went through with our Mum and dad's divorce."
Ivy can feel her heart squeeze a little again, "I don't want Kitty to go through that, she doesn't deserve it." Ivy says thinking about her little angel.
"Neither did we but we were better off with them apart than together," Lili says tucking Ivy's hair under her ear.
"Yeah, we were," Ivy mutters.
"I am sorry if I ever made you lie about your relationship," Lili whispers.
"Me too," Ivy gives a sad smile.
The door to Ivy's room opens up, rushing in is Meghan with the intention of telling her best friend her recent revelation.
"Ivy, we need to talk?" She walks into the bedroom as her eyes fell on the twins. She didn't fail to show the shock on her face to see the pair but she has more pressing issues.
Ivy sits up, her head banging as she has been crying for hours now. "Meghan," Ivy calls out relieved to see her.
"I need to tell you something and I know you might get mad or not believe me but..."
"Cole is gay," Ivy takes the words out of her mouth, "Or Bi, I don't know."
"You know?" Meghan says, now noticing the dried-up tears.
"Found out hours ago."
"Oh, my baby," Meghan coos as she joins them on the bed. Cara places her head on her shoulders as Meghan runs her fingers through her hair.
"Are you okay?"
"No," Ivy admits.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Meghan whispers.
"No,"
Ivy will admit it was refreshing talking to Lili, she never in a million years thought that can happen.
"What do you want?"
"I want to go home," Ivy says.
She can't stay here anymore, she doesn't want to have seen any of them tomorrow. She is not that strong.
She just wants to see her daughter and hug her. That's all the comfort she needs.
"Your flight doesn't leave till tomorrow evening." Meghan reminds her.
"I can arrange an early flight for us," Lili says. "I need to take care of something at home as well."
"Thank you," Ivy looks over to her sister.
"I am coming as well," Meghan says.
"No," Ivy lifts her head up. "Don't stop the fun you here having on my account. I promise I'll be fine." Ivy assures her. "I promise." She repeats.
"Okay, Fine. Let me help you pack then." Meghan says standing up from the bed and walking over to the closet.
"Thank you," Ivy says before she to Lili with a small smile on her face.
"What about Wilder?" Lili asks, "I am sure that if the knew he still had a percent chance of being with you, he won't have been with that girl."
"I have no right to be mad but I can't pretend that it didn't hurt. I just need time to think, away from here. I feel like I am choking and I need to breathe." Ivy lays flat. "But I have a feeling that this won't be the last time,  we will see each other."
Lili sits up, "I need to pack and talk to Lucy. She will kill me." Lili jokes as she stands up, heading out of the room.
"Lili," Ivy calls out.
"Yeah," She turns to her sister.
"Thank you," Ivy mutters.
"You still look like shit, try putting makeup under those bags," Lili smirks before she walks out.
"And she's back." Ivy rolls her eyes before dropping on the bed.
~~~

Jessica knocks on Wilder's door harder this time as she has been knocking for a while now.

"I am coming," she hears a female voice.

Jessica frowns as she waits for the face that owns the voice and behold, a woman opens the door with a bright smile on her face, wearing what seems to be Wilder's shirt. She has seen her somewhere but Jessica can't put her finger on it.

Oh, she works here.

"What are you doing here?" Jessica folds her arm.

"I cam..."

Jessica interrupts, "I don't care, where is Wilder?"

"Oh, he is..." Again, Jessica didn't let Angel finish her sentence before barging in.

Jessica walks in and there Wilder as passed out on the bed, naked, only covered up by the white rough sheets.

Jessica shakes her head as she climbs the platform and goes for the window. She draws the window open letting the sunshine of the morning wake him up.

"Ahh," Wilder shifts a little bring his hands to cover his eyes.

"Someone had one hell of a night." Jessica comments as she watches the woman she met walk into the bathroom with her clothes.

"Close the damn curtains," Wilder says sitting up, putting his hand on his head. It's banging, how much did he drink? He tries to recollect events of last night.

"No, sleepyhead." Jessica walks towards the bed.

"Jeez," Wilder complains as he throws the sheets out away from his body and stands up.

"Put on some clothes! Oh my," Jessica turns around to avoid seeing the naked man.

"Come on, it's nothing you haven't seen before." Wilder teases as steps down the platform to get his boxers. He wears them.

"It's safe to look now," Wilder announces as he hears for the bottle of drink that isn't emptied.

While trying to remember the events of yesterday, all he could remember is his heart being ripped apart, so being drunk helps.

Jessica turns to see Wilder heading towards the alcohol, she beats him to it and grabs it.

"Why are you being a buzzkill this morning?" Wilder rolls his eyes.

"From the looks of things, you haven't heard what happened yesterday."

"I don't want to hear about yesterday..." Wilder is about to ask when he hears sounds coming from his back. He turns to see the woman who spent the night.

"Hey," Angel says shyly.

"Hey," He says to awkwardly.

"I should go, I have work." She smiles, as she picks up her shoes. "By the way, a woman came here last night."

"Which woman?"

"Blonde hair, was here when I came to deliver a cake for your birthday. I don't think she likes me very much."

"I-ivy?"

Wilder turns to Jessica, "Why would she come here? She made things perfectly clear to me..."

Wilder tries not to but his mind can't help but imagine the possibility of her changing her mind and coming back to him. But she must have seen Angel and...

He needs to see her, talk to her.

Wilder rushes to get his pants at the same time his shirt.

"What are you doing?" Jessica asks the man hurriedly putting on clothes.

"I need to see her."

"That won't be possible at the moment," Jessica says.

Wilder pauses from attempting to put on his shirt, "Why?"

"She has gone home."
