Chapter 33

Oliver pulled her closer to himself and he gave her a kiss. Noella froze
“Good night. Love you”, Oliver said and Noella felt butterflies tingling in her stomach.
“Good night”,Noella managed to reply in a feeble voice.
“Did he really mean it?”.
*The next day*
The first sunlight Infiltrated the widow's veil,shining on his face,He gasped back to reality. At first,his vision was blurry. He closed his eyes,shook his head and opened them again. Finally,he can see properly. He felt someone shifting beside him and he remembered Noella. When he kissed her yesterday,she froze. Did she also love him as he loved her?.
He yawned loudly and he stood up from the bed. He sauntered to the bathroom and he closed the door. He picked up the tooth brush and the toothpaste. He applied the paste on the brush and he brushed his teeth.
“This bathroom is beautiful. Who could have thought that a cottage like this will have such a beautiful and modernized bathroom. I guess it will have something to do with him being a Golden knight”,Oliver muttered to himself as he removed his clothes and he filled the bath tub with both cold water and hot water. He entered the tub and he settled down. He took the soap and the sponge and within 10-15 minutes, he's done. He came out and he tied the towel around his waist. He dried his body with the other towel.
He opened the bathroom door quickly and he looked at Noella. When he's satisfied that she's still sleeping,he enters the room. He began to apply the body cream on his body. Meanwhile,Noella, who had been pretending that she was sleeping, opened her eyes and she yawned loudly.
“Good morning Oliver”,She greeted and Oliver shivered.
“Morning Noel”,He replied.
She stood up from the bed and she entered the bathroom.
Oliver opened the wardrobe and he saw different kinds of clothes. He picked a black hoodie with black pants. He put on the cloth, combed his hair and he exited the room.
When he got to the sitting room,he met Sebastian and Skylar sitting on the dining chairs and they were both having a tough time with the chicken wraps they were eating.
“Morning”,He greeted. They both replied to him but he couldn't hear what they were saying because they had meat in their respective mouths.
“How did the house change so fast?. It wasn't like this yesterday”,He asked sebastian.
Sebastian picked up the glass cup filled with water and he gulped it down at once.
“The house has a mind of its own. It changes when it wishes to and when Caleb wishes to”, Sebastian replied.
He opened the plates in front of him and he began eating.
“Morning All”,He heard Noella's voice and he tilted his gaze to her.
“Morning”.
“Morning”
The others replied to her one after the other.
Noella joined them in the dining room and she started munching on her food. Soon all of them finished their meals and they went to the sitting room.
“Are we all set?”,Oliver asked the rest of the team.
“Yeah”,They replied one after the other.
“Sebastain, you know the lower isle very well. How do we get there?”,He asked sebastian.
Sebastian cleared his throat before replying to Oliver.
“The fastest and safest route to get to the lower isle is to pass through the tunnel of blood. The Tunnel of Blood is not far from here. The Tunnel also has its dangers,but they are limited unlike the other ways which are filled with dangerous creatures”,He replied Oliver.
“Did you know more about the lower isle?'' Oliver asked Sebastian again.
“Ofcourse,'' he answered. “The Lower isle is part of a Kingdom called Volkov. In Volkov,we have the upper isle,the lower isle and The Ring. The upper isle is ruled by Louis. The lower isle is ruled by McLean. The ring is ruled by Mccloud. While Volkov is ruled by a family called Xander. That is all I know”, Sebastian replied.
“Okay. It is time for us to leave,”Oliver said and they rose up from their seats one by one.
“Fare well Oliver and I wish you success in your quest”,Caleb said to Oliver and he pat Oliver on the back.
“Hold any part of my body. I'll teleport you to the entrance of Tunnel of blood”,Caleb spoke out. They all held on to his cloth and Caleb touched his forehead with his index finger. They vanished without a trace and they appeared at the entrance of the Tunnel.
“See you soon”, Caleb said and he vanished.
“Are we all set?"Oliver asked. He looked at the rest of the team and he can tell that they're all nervous. He can't blame them though, he's also nervous.
“Let's go”.
Oliver moved forward, leading the team and they followed him. The only sound that can be heard is the sound of their Boots colliding with the earth and the only source of light is the one coming from the entrance of the Tunnel. They don't need the light. They have super visions, they see even better in the dark.
Each of them is in a world of their own.
“I don't even know my quest any more”,Oliver thought. “ I thought it was finding the Celestial sword or developing my vampire side or finding my parents,my real parents. If my father gave Lord Irish the box. Did he want me to find him or what?. How does all this relate to me saving the world?. I just hope I find you”, Oliver sniffed back the tears threatening to fall down from his eyes as the thought of his parents clouded his thoughts. Lucky for him,he was at the front and none of his teammates noticed the change in his mood.
“Did you hear that?”Sebastain asked him.
“What?”He asked back.
“Listen. It sounds like the growling of a vicious animal”, Sebastian replied to him and Oliver activated his super hearing.
“I hear it. Everyone prepares. We don't know whether it's friendly or not. We must be careful”,Oliver said and they activated their powers. Oliver unsheathed the Celestial sword and they moved forward. The growling is now clearly heard.
