46. Epilogue

Six months later

"We owe this to your family Ella, I know we decided to elope over the weekend. But now everyone is pissed at us, and my phone hasn't stopped buzzing. I'm just going to let the battery die, Clara and my PR team has gone crazy as if I needed their permission to get married." My honey bun bun looked agitated, and I smiled though I felt sorry for him. He looked adorably cute when he's upset, call me selfless but I feel like I need to climb him and join the mile-low club once we landed, if there's such a club. If not, well...I can always make one.

"Baby, I know that look," he shook his head looking at my horny expression. Seriously, I hope he realized what he's in for the long run and does not regret tying the knot with me. Though it's a done deal now, I smirked and weave his fingers with mine.

"We'll do it your way, if you feel the need to suck up to my parents and brothers then it's up to you. As long as I get to have you for the rest of my life." I bit my lip, looking at his handsome face and my mind was back to remember about last night and how he made me climax over and over again. I was actually impressed with myself for not walking funny this morning, then we were humping again in no time ten minutes after take-off and the seatbelt signs were off.

"You have me, baby, I love you. For the rest of my life," he whispered taking my hand, kissing my knuckles, and swooning me, making me feel all mushy on the inside. Gah...this man...

"Mm...hmm...I know you do," I took his arm, put it around my shoulder, and put my lips on his. "...and I love you so much more."

The jet landed smoothly half an hour later, his driver had been waiting by the private airstrip, then we went straight to his penthouse knowing in the next couple of hours we will be immersed into the reality of work and life outside of our little bubble.

Everything with us has been moving at lightning speed, one month after the incident I had officially moved to Brice's place and with the hectic schedule of our jobs, my mom's big wedding plan, and Clara's throwing ideas on PR for our wedding, we decided to elope and get married without anyone's knowing.

"Well, you are her favorite client." I shrugged when he grumbled the moment we were greeted by a large bouquet of flowers and a celebratory wine once we exited his private elevator. We know it's from Clara the second we saw it at the entrance of his place, it was her way of saying call her back without the bright neon sign.

"I hate that we need to get back so soon," he grumbled when he drop our overnight bag by the door.

"Yeah, let that reality sinks in, I'll make us coffee before we check our emails and open the flood gates." I was exaggerating, I was nowhere near as busy as him. I do need to finish my painting and start a new one, but being an artist has its own privilege, we can stall in the name of creativity.

Mmm...maybe I should get a new tattoo. My subconscious has ideas, good ideas, I might take my mind into consideration. I know I wanted a wedding tattoo,  though I'm still checking out my options for the designs.

"Ella, you're zoning out on me."

"Huh? what? did you want to have sex again? cause I'm totally up for it." Yeah, the last couple of months he had been so busy that we had a sporadic sex life, and I was ashamed of myself that we acted like an old married couple already. And as If he sensed my disappointment he asked if I wanted to elope and forget about work and everyone.

"It's about us." He said. "I want to make you happy." He stated. And then I was a goner, I'd jump off a cliff if he asked me to.

Following up on his words and my crazy idea to go at that exact time, he arranged the jet and we went to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean after I googled best tropical places to elope, cause honestly who wouldn't want a lush beachy themed wedding...um, I mean private wedding.

We packed our overnight clothes, a formal suit for him and a wedding dress that I've bought a week ago when I saw it on display. It was the most beautiful white lace sleeveless long dress with a sexy back dipping low to my lower back that showed my tats perfectly. I knew I just have to have it without even knowing when we're going to have the wedding. On our way to the small airport, Brice made the driver stop at a jewelry shop and bought our wedding rings.

Then everything was like a blur, he arranged the rest of our itinerary while I smile like a girl swooning over her prince charming. I might as well paint cartoon hearts on my face cause I was looking at him with adoration every time he looked at me with his loving eyes.

Until the end of the ceremony and received our marriage certificate, I was moving on auto while mimicking everything he does. I was still amazed that he actually wanted to marry me, and he chuckled knowing where my mind went and pulled me into his arms, and planted our first kiss as husband and wife.

"For the rest of our lives baby, you're stuck with me." He whispered while his hands' rest on my naked back, hmm...that exact moment was also why I picked the wedding dress. I know I wanted his hands on my back when he gives me his first kiss as my husband.

Walking down memory lane only took several moments and I was back and faced with reality.

The rest of the day we slipped into our routine, and with our wedding rings circling our fingers the days afterward were spent in a warmer tone, happier, and more content.

Days went quickly and by the next weekend, we were arriving at my parents', bringing a custom-made one-tier wedding cake and a crate of fine wine as a peace offering to my mom and dad for bailing and not giving them the chance to witness our marriage.

My brothers were there already, and Jacqueline for some reason she's glued to my brothers. I know they share women, but this is hitting too close to home, I mean...she's my neighbor, one of my closest friends.

But the thought of her and my brothers quickly disappear when mom and dad asked for pictures. And luckily Brice made sure we took them, a lot of them. I didn't even know when he arranged for a wedding photographer. Not until he explained that it all came with the little wedding ceremony package, along with the room and our little intimate excursions along the island.

Brice and I were staying the whole weekend with my parents, still as a part of our apology for eloping, and mom was milking the situation by babying me and Brice. She was making our entire meal while she let us explore our surroundings. And that's when we saw Jacqueline and my brothers, I gasped and Brice put his hand on my mouth.

"Quick, get me out of here, I need to bleach my eyes," I muttered low in his ear while he chuckled lowly and grabbed my hand and we ran away from them.

"Your brothers are something else," he laughed when were far enough, "...at least I can make them feel uncomfortable with that very vivid menagé that I just watched."

I joined him laughing after I managed to catch my breath. "Nah, they're too full of themselves. I doubt you can make them feel embarrassed, but you should act as it scarred you for life, that'll make them feel bad about themselves." I winked at him and grabbed his hand. I decided the late afternoon walk was a fail and choose to join mom and dad who were already entertaining our neighborhood cowboys. My childhood besties who Brice was still awkward to be around with.

My life was perfect everyone I care about was there that weekend, well aside from Gemma who was suddenly too busy for work, and Benji who has his new smoking hot single dad and busy playing house with his little family. But I did manage to set up a lunch date with them when I get back to the city.

Life is good.
Life is perfect.
And with Brice, I know I have a happy ending to my life story.
