CHAPTER 71

Alpha Rick's pov
I couldn't believe my eyes. Was it actually Maya I was seeing? Or was it just the effect of the few glasses of red wine I just had that was making me hallucinate? I looked around and no one was there so I looked forward again and Maya was there vividly clear this time and I was shocked down to my bones.
Maya was a white wolf! It was impossible! I killed them all twenty years ago, it couldn't be… how did she survive and keep her identity as a white wolf a secret all these years? How did she live in silence all these years knowing the powers she possessed and the things she could do?
I stared at her speechless as I was still in my state of shock. I was still finding it hard to find my words and question her to quench the fire of curiosity that was blazing in my head as she slowly came towards me with a smile playing on her face. I didn't really notice the smile though, it was the rage in her eyes that managed to plant fear in me, but I soon killed the fear and faced her head on too
"I killed all white wolves many years ago, how did you survive? Who are you and what you really?" I questioned her and her smile disappeared, the rage increased as her jaw ticked but she went ahead to answer me.
Maya's pov
I knew he was going to ask me that question and I was ready to fill his cup of curiosity and questions to the brin with answers. Maybe, even make it over flow… and then I was going to seize him and hit him on and on till he died in my hands while begging for mercy.
"I'm Jamieson's daughter, the pound of flesh you called a taboo while you were desperately crying for your father's throne due to how dumb and impatient you always are"
I heard a low growl from him as he tried to compose himself after I had just insulted him, it had probably been a very long time since someone spoke senses into his hard empty skull.
"I killed Jamie, I made sure no one left the pack or was able to escape" he said in disbelief.
"You'd be surprised Rick, what the moon goddess is capable of doing… whereas, here I am, in flesh and blood… to take revenge on you for killing our people. You don't even deserve to be among my people, no wonder the moon goddess stripped you of your fur and powers" I spat at him trying to enrage him so he could lose it and it was evident I was succeeding so far… he was looking angrier by the minute.
"I know all what you did Rick, I know the disgusting and despicable things you've done. You're probably ashamed of yourself, that's why your children have no idea of all the terrible things you've done" I said and chuckled.
"A white wolf stripped of his legacy and the only thing that made him special, it would definitely be a sob story to listen to and I'm sure Jason would never forgive you if he finds out you're the cause of his weakness… you deserve the worst father award cause damn, you're a piece of shit Rick" I told him and he wanted to launch at me but he held himself back. He knew he was no match for me, I was going to break limb by limb if he so much as dared to fight me.
"I know you killed the white wolves Rick, I know you killed my father and mother, and you also killed Alpha Jamil when he found what you did and also to take over this pack… now tell me, are you satisfied or happy? Living a life of worthless achievements when nobody actually sees you. They only fear and live in hatred for you but they can't do anything because they know how far you heartlessness goes but I know it's all because of your insecurities, you're scared you'll lose it all one day just like you lost your white fur and powers, so you're ready to go to the extreme to retain the power you never deserved just like you don't deserve this pack" I added and his eyes twitched as he heavy angry steps towards and stopped midway as I just stood waiting for him to get to me.
"Do not speak to me that way!" He thundered in an ego broken voice and I laughed… I had definitely broken this man's surface and I was seeing him at his most vulnerable right now, he was both angry and scared.
"Then you should have killed me when you had the chance Alpha fucking Rick!" I spat with venom once my countenance changed and I poised, ready to fight him. He mirrored my actions and we moved in circles opposite each other, looking for an opportunity to pounce.
I began to hear footsteps and I saw Melissa and Rick's beta come in. They stood beside Rick and shifted into their werewolf forms ready to fight but I did fret. I knew they didn't know I was a whitewolf so they thought they could take me and win. They didn't know they were in for a surprise. I quickly shifted in seconds and stared hard at them, daring any of them to step forward and fight me. Melissa and Rick's beta saw my fur and the shock in their eyes even in their werewolf forms was priceless, I felt priceless.
They began to take steady steps back from me and their father. He noticed and yelled at them as two more werewolves from his fighters came into the hall from behind and had me in their middle. I looked around and saw them, the more the merrier was all I thought as Rick smirked thinking they had me hooked now. He shifted into his werewolf form too and they were all ready to battle as they formed a circle around me and began to take calculated steps towards me. Suddenly, they began to run towards me and I prayed to the moon goddess to give me more strength or intervene as I closed my eyes.
I noticed they weren't coming anymore because I hadn't felt any attack on me yet so I opened my eyes and saw I was shining so bright it could blind a person and they weren't seeing me behind the brights rays of light shining from me. I took that opportunity and pounced on Alpha Rick since he wasn't seeing me and he howled in pain from how I dug my nails into his flesh. I grew bigger to stop him from getting up and I couldn't explain the satisfaction I felt in seeing the most feared alpha Rick who made my life a living hell right underneath me.
I began to hear heavy footsteps and I saw Edna, Daniel, Tommy and Shalom come in. They shifted and took the other werewolves that tried to fight me. It was a battle and I knew the moon goddess was with us, we would emerge victorious. I faced alpha Rick and tore at his face with my nails, he howled again helplessly and sent me pleading eyes but it wasn't working, it couldn't because I was bent in making him pay and that he was definitely going to do. I let him go and he quickly stood up and faced, we paced in circles again, as he searched for an opening to attack me but I was too large for that. I ran towards him and pushed him ahrd against the wall, making him hit with a thud and he fell to the floor.
I marched to where he was and howled out loud in anger before I bit down vigorously on one of his feet. Even if he changed, he wouldn't be able to escape me because I had destroyed his leg. He howled in pain and shifted back to his human form, a leg of his damaged beyond repair. He wanted to heal but I wasn't going to let him have that.
I changed to my human form too and knelt over him with a smirk, I could still feel the energy surge inside me and I was going to use it at my best to make him feel so much pain.
"How does it feel to be at my mercy?" I asked him with a sneer as I puched him hard on the face and heard him grunt
"How does it feel to be the one tortured this time?" I asked again and gave him another punch
"You killed my parents" punch.
"You killed my foster father" punch, punch.
"You killed my friend" punch
"Now I'll make you taste my wrath" I said and stood up to look at his bloodied face. He was weak and couldn't move as he stared at me.
I shifted my right hand Into my werewolf hand and dug it into his ankle making scream in pain as I destroyed his other leg. I stared with a menacing glare as I kept eye contact with him while destroying his knees too. "Now I'm going to make you feel what I felt when you took everything from me" I said to him and pulled my hand out of his knee
"I'm going to make you fe what I felt!" I screamed in anger and grabbed his shirt by the collar to raise him up into a sitting position.
"Remember? I was once in this situation, begging you to tender mercy but you laughed" I told him in his ear and pulled back to have a good view of him "who's laughing now?" I asked him and released a wicked laughter
"Because you deserve it and you should pay for the livs you've killed" I told him and grabbed his neck
"Any last words?" I questioned and he gave a small sad smile
"I should have known, the moon goddess words always prevail. Jamil didn't tell because he didn't know. I was told told; and verily, a chosen one of mine shall usurp you and take all you believe you've worked for" he said to me and I smiled "chosen ones are always special" I replied and twisted his neck in a swift move… he was gone forever,
I cut off his head and stood up and I saw Edna, Tommy, Daniel and Shalom had defeated they werewolves they fought with too. I helped them all up and tore a part of my dress to stop the bleeding on Shalom's hand where she got injured while fighting.
We did it, I did it; took my revenge and the pack that I was destined to rule. I felt fulfilled and finally at peace for avenging my parents, Alpha Jamil and Killian. Now they could rest in peace knowing I fought for them and won victoriously.
We all held hands while I helped Shalom as we walked out of the pack headquarters with pride. People were outside already with expectations on their faces as they waited to hear the good news I knew they were waiting for. I raised aloha Rick's head to show to the crowd and it was enough to make them celebrate as they screamed in joy and hugged each other in tears
"Go Maya", "we believe in you Maya", "we live Maya" people screamed joyfully at me and I didn't know tears were falling down my face until Edna cleaned them
"Shh don't cry" she said and I laughed
"Their tears of joy Edna" I told her and we both laughed then I struck me, Asher!! Where was he?
"Where's Asher?" I asked Edna "he went after Jason, his friends and members of the committee that ran escaped. I'm sure he has them now" she replied and I nodded and turned only to see him coming towards me
"Asher" I called out his name in glee and ran to him while he held his hands out to drag me in for a hug.
"I'm so sorry" I apologized for flipping him and he laughed "I was turned on actually" he told me and we laughed while staring at each other lovingly "it's over" I said
"I love you" he replied and we hugged.
It was finally over.
