♥ Chapter 49 ♥
Yara Voss.
As soon as Damien enters the bathroom to wash his hands, I feel my face burn with embarrassment. I can't believe I did that. What happened to me? I never imagined I would have the courage. The image of what happened never leaves my head, and my heart races every time I remember it. The size of his member... it's huge, thick. I had never seen anything like this in my life.
I wonder what Magnus and Kael would be like. Are they like that too? Just thinking about it makes my body heat up once again. And the taste of it in my mouth... it was so good. I can't forget the pleasure he felt, and how much it moved me. I wanted to continue, I really did. But I knew we needed to go to the event.
I take a deep breath and try to compose myself. I start to organize myself, putting on my heels and fixing my dress, which was all wrinkled due to the way Damien pulled me. Furthermore, I run my hand over my pants, adjusting them in place. I'm still embarrassed, my body is hot, but I know I need to focus on what's ahead.
When Damien comes out of the bathroom, I feel my cheeks burn even more. He gives me a mischievous smile, which makes my heart race again.
''You learned well, my love. '' he says, his voice full of promise. ''Once this event is over, we can continue exploring.
My face feels even hotter, if that's possible. I try to maintain my composure, but I can't help but confess:
''I... I'm looking forward to it. '' A shy smile escapes my lips before quickly heading towards the bathroom to brush my teeth, trying to escape Damien's intense gaze.
In the bathroom, I wash my face and brush my teeth carefully, trying to calm myself. The feeling of having him inside me, even just with my lips, still leaves me shaken, and I feel a mix of nervousness and excitement coursing through my body. After finishing, I do a small hairstyle in my hair, something simple, that matches the dress. I need to look presentable for the event.
When I return to the room, Damien watches me with a satisfied smile.
''Ready to go, my love? '' he asks, his voice soft, but with that commanding tone that makes my skin crawl.
''Yes, I am ready. '' I nod, taking the bag that Kael bought for me and placing my cell phone inside. Damien extends his hand to me, and without hesitation, I accept the gesture. When our hands touch, I feel a slight tremor, but I stay firmly by his side as we leave the room.
We head towards the elevator, and as soon as the doors open, Damien presses the button for the garage. He lets go of my hand, but then I feel his arm slide around my waist, pulling me closer. My heart skips a beat at the gesture, but I try to hold on. I can't let him see how much this affects me... or maybe he can?
The elevator doors open, and we head to the car. Damien, ever the gentleman, opens the door for me, and I walk in quickly, trying to hide my nervousness. He walks around and climbs into the driver's seat.
''Did you put on your belt? '' he asks, looking in my direction.
''Yes, I did. '' I respond, trying to keep my voice steady.
He nods, starts the car, and within seconds we're leaving the hotel. My gaze turns to the window, and I try to focus on the landscape that passes quickly outside. The streets, full of life, seem like a perfect distraction to drive away the thoughts that torment me.
The car glides through the city streets, and the view is beautiful. The sunlight streaming through the trees creates dancing shadows, and for a moment, I manage to calm down. The sky is clear, and the vibrant colors around me help me keep my head straight.
I feel Damien's gaze on me, and no matter how much I try to ignore it, his heat is impossible to avoid. My heart continues to race, but I try to focus on the landscape, enjoying the journey to the event. It's strange to think that I was recently in an abusive relationship, struggling to get out and survive, and now I'm alongside three wonderful men.
'' All good? '' he asks softly, his hand now resting on the steering wheel, but his eyes still fixed on the road.
''Yes... just nervous. '' I confess, without looking directly at him.
''Don't worry,'' Damien responds, his voice low but firm. ''We are going to have fun tonight. And then...'' He pauses. ''We will continue where we left off. Only this time, with the three of them.
My heart skips a beat, and I can't help the nervous smile that appears on my lips. Whatever happens, I know this night will be unforgettable.
I close my eyes for a moment, letting the gentle sound of the car engine lull me as we continue on our way.
As soon as the car stops in front of the event, I feel the nervousness rising in me. The location is impressive: a luxurious mansion, with a grand entrance lit by spotlights and surrounded by expensive cars. Damien gets out of the car first, and my heart races. He turns around, opening the door for me elegantly. As I reach out my hand, I feel the warmth of his fingers intertwining with mine, a gesture that should calm me down, but that only seems to increase my nervousness.
We get out of the car, and the sound of heels clicking on the floor makes me feel even more aware of every movement. Questions begin to form in my mind, suffocating me: Am I okay with this outfit? Is my dress not too tight? And my hair? Is everyone looking at me?
I take a quick look around as we enter the place, and my mouth opens slightly in surprise. The room is packed with people, all dressed impeccably. The lights are soft, elegant, and the environment is surrounded by sophisticated designer furniture, large crystal chandeliers and carefully decorated drinks tables. Damien keeps his hand steady in mine, but my mind starts to spin.
Soon, relief floods my body when I see Kael and Magnus coming towards us. They are a comforting sight among so many unknown people. Magnus is the first to approach, and his warm smile dispels some of my nervousness. He leans in and places a soft kiss on my forehead.
''You look magnificent, my love. '' he says, his tone full of affection.
Kael soon follows, repeating the gesture with affection.
''I have to agree with my brother, my love. '' he says, his gaze serious but gentle. ''You look perfect. We're going to have problems with men looking at you like that.
My hand instinctively runs over my dress, a nervous gesture I can't help but feel. I try to smile, but inside, anxiety still consumes me.
''You guys also look really beautiful. '' I respond, trying to focus on them to keep the negative thoughts away. The three of them are always so impeccable.
The suits they're wearing are perfectly cut. Magnus opted for a navy blue suit, which highlights his intense eyes, and Kael, always a little more daring, wears a dark gray suit with a slight satin shine, which makes him even more charming. They all exude an irresistible charm, the kind of men who attract attention anywhere.
I feel the first waves of insecurity intensifying. People around look at us. Or rather, for me. It's no surprise that the Darkmore brothers attract attention, they are powerful, influential men, and I'm sure they are coveted, but now, standing next to them, the attention I receive is overwhelming.
I feel the gaze of women in designer dresses who seem to be evaluating me, perhaps judging how much I don't belong in this world. I ask myself more and more: What am I doing here? Will I ever fit into this environment? Do I deserve to be by their side?
