17. God's throne.

Her dad closed the door while Niya took a drink. As soon as she drank that golden liquid she felt a strange but powerful energy running through her whole body as if some golden energy was running inside her veins. She could feel an enormous power inside her. Slowly, her feet lost the touch from the ground and she was hanging in the air like a fairy, her dress changed into a bright golden long gown. Her eyes turned from light brown into golden, her lips were redder, her hair was a beautiful honey brown but longer, dancing with the wind. Slowly, beautiful soft golden wings came out from her back and a big beautiful crown appeared on her head. She landed back on the ground.
The whole room was filled with a golden divine light. She turned to look herself in the mirror and she could see her dad smiling proudly. She looked like a beautiful divine angel. She looked at her face carefully, her eyes were looking beautiful with that natural golden eyeshadow, her face was glowing golden… her whole body was surrounded by a golden aura.

"This is the real you, Niya! My daughter, the Supreme Archangel Seraphim Michael's daughter, Heir to the almighty's throne in heavens. Niyanica: The Angel of Creation! The Queen of Angels and Demi-Gods." He proudly smiled, looking at her through the mirror.

"Almighty's heiress?" She turned to look at him with confusion.

"Yes Princess, you are God's only living grandchild at this moment after that massacre when Lucifer and his army killed almost every angel to avenge the death of his father, King Dracula Azazel." He said, lost in his painful memories.

"Dad, I'm an angel! And above all of this, I am God's heiress? Oh my God! I am gonna end up in some mantle asylum for sure." She sat on the bed, sighing in shock.

"I know it's not easy to digest, but this is the reality and I will tell you everything when the right time comes. Now, just be careful. Archie must not know that you are my daughter. He is Azazel's son and he will kill you at the very moment that he knows your real identity." He said, grabbing her shoulder and looking into her eyes. She nodded.

"Why dad? Why does he hate angels?" She asked.

"They envy us. His brother Lucifer tried to kill all of our kind but we somehow survived and Archie still thinks that his brother killed all the angels and now angels are extinct." He explained.

"Dad, why can't we live together peacefully? Me and you, why do I have to live here among these monsters? These monsters turned our beautiful Earth into Poisonous Vamp Prime." She said, controlling her tears and looking at her dad with hope in her those big golden eyes. Her dad sighed.

''This is what you were born for, you are born to kill the evilness, the devil. You are here to kill the darkness by showing them the path of light. This is not your destination Niya, this is the first stage of your mission. You have to go through a lot, you have to be a strong princess." He said, looking at her with affection.

"Dad, I have to tell you something… Archie is researching my DNA. Sooner or later he'll know that I'm an angel." She said looking at him with fear.

"You have to stop him as soon as possible. You have to! And I know you can do this." He said, nodding in assurance.

"I'll try." She said.

"I have to go now but I'll meet you soon. Take care of yourself while traveling to Star Land." He kissed her forehead and disappeared into a thin air. Niya was still in her angel avatar so she closed her eyes and tried to focus and within a second, she changed into her normal self again.

The rest of the day passed in a blur. After dinner, Niya was standing on the balcony, thinking about the recent changes in her life. She was missing her old life badly. She wanted to find a way to undo all of this but then she simply couldn't do this because she didn't want to hurt her dad. Her father wanted it like this so she would do anything to keep it like this. Suddenly she saw a figure walking here and there in the royal garden. It was Mr. Andino. She thought it was the perfect opportunity to talk with him and to convince him that, as of now, the royal family means no harm to his community and their new Queen is ready to do anything to win their trust back. To win their trust she must know some basics about that community and this was the perfect time to learn more about werewolves by talking to him. She rushed down the garden. As she passed through the corridor, Edward put a woolen shawl around her to protect her from the cold.

"Your Majesty, you shouldn't go there alone at this hour." He warned her. She looked at him and smiled.

"Please Ed, I understand your concern but I need to go." She said and left for the garden.

As soon as she stepped outside, the cold wind hit her face and she shivered. She didn't expect this much cold outside. Flowers and fountains were looking more mystic under the beautiful white moonlit. Mr. Andino looked at her and smiled, walking toward her.

"Your Majesty?" He questioned but bowed. "What are you doing here?" He asked, looking at her.

"Couldn't sleep, saw you walking and I thought to give you some company." She smiled and he smiled back. After walking for five minutes, Niya finally started a useful conversation.

"So... werewolves? What can they do? Like what powers they have?" She asked with a bit of nervousness.

"They can run very fast just like vampires, hypnotism is one of the most important powers of our community. We can shift into a pure wolf anytime we want. We are afraid of fire as any other animal." He chuckled while walking.

"Okay, so, uh, you can go to the church? I mean does it hurt you, entering in any sacred place?" She asked very innocently. He chuckled loudly.

"Does it hurt a horse, a lion, a bird, or any other animal, when they enter into a sacred place?" He again chuckled at her funny question.

"I'm, I'm sorry, I... it was stupid, I know." She chuckled nervously. They sat on a bench in the garden, near a fountain.

"What do you eat? I mean, like vampires drink blood, what do you..." She asked with a bit of hesitation.

"We can eat normal food, fruits, vegetables, and everything. We don't generally drink blood. We drink only our enemy's blood to kill him." He shrugged and smiled. Niya looked at his face carefully, his olive skin was now brighter and seemed to shine under the effect of the moonlit. His golden eyes were shining like a diamond and his dark brown hair was now giving a complete raven shade.

"I want to give you something." He said, looking at her. He got a box out of his side pocket.

"And… what is it?" She asked with excitement and a bit of confusion. He opened the blue velvet box and inside it was a beautiful silver pendant in the shape of a cute little flute with a silver chain. She was shocked because the flute pendant given by her mom was so similar to the pendant in front of her in the box.

"Uh, wow. It’s, it’s beautiful." She said, touching the pendant softly.

"It was gifted by my very close friend. He is your big admirer. He wanted to give you this gift by meeting you in person but he couldn't do that." He said, looking at her to check her reaction.

"Why? He can meet me any day he wants." She said still looking at the pendant, curiously wanted to meet him.

"He is from another universe, the Morganite Universe. He can't travel to this Musgravite Universe. Royals of this universe don’t allow anyone enters from the outside." He explained, looking at the full bright moon.

"How did he meet you then?" She asked looking at him with confusion.

"Uh, it’s hard to explain but let me try. There is a firewall created at the end of this universe to protect it from the outside entrance. That wall was created by King Archie. No one can enter and no one can leave. But, somehow, wolves from this universe possess a special kind of DNA that doesn't get affected by that magical fire. So we can pass through it easily. But it's illegal and dangerous" He explained.

"Hmm, you don't follow the rules and that's why Archie doesn't like your kind." She chuckled and looked at the pendant again. "What a coincidence it is, I got a flute as a gift on my coronation day, and now this!" She smiled.

"I really like it." She closed her eyes, only opening them when a black paper and a golden pen appeared on her palm.

"What is his name? Your friend who gifted this?" She asked Mr. Andino.

"Sam. Sam it is." He smiled.

She took that black paper and wrote:

*Thank you Sam for this wonderful gift. I wish I could thank you by meeting you but this is not possible for now. I hope we'll meet soon.
- Niya.*

She folds the paper and gave it to him.

"Please, give him this from my side." She said and smiled.

"Sure, ma'am." He said proudly.

"It's late so I guess we should call it night." Niya got out off the bench and said. He nodded and they headed back to their respective rooms.

Niya entered her room and stood in front of her mirror to put that pendant around her neck along with her mother's pendant. As soon as she put that around her neck, she smelt the same fragrance she had smelt with the flute that Archie had gifted her. It was the same fragrance.

*Is it just a coincidence? How can they both smell the same?, She thought, frowning*.

She looked at the pendant again and shrugged as she was too sleepy to further think about this useless topic. The next day was going to be an important day for her as a Queen. She was excited and a little bit nervous but happy that she was going to explore new things.

She laid on her comfy bed and soon slipped into a deep slumber, unaware of the dangers ahead in her journey to the City of Star Land.
