21. When I look into his eyes.

William, have you lost your mind?" Archie looked at him with angry eyes.

"You are an emotional fool, Archie. What are you intending to do? If you would open the gate, the mermaids out there will lure us into their underwater city Attica and everyone will be killed because our powers aren't working here. Then my dear friend, how will you save Niya?" William said, looking at Archie and not loosening his grip on Archie's hand.

Archie looked at him and sighed. "Then what should we do?" Archie asked, looking at Niya through the window who was still standing near the railings, smiling at those mermaids that danced on the water.

"We can't do anything." Andino, who was listening to everything quietly till now, finally spoke. 

"What? Seriously?" Archie gave him a deathly glare.

"He is right Archie, they cannot kill her." William said.

"Why so? Why can't they kill her? She may be the most powerful creature on this planet but don't you dare forget that she’s still not aware of her powers and, above all of this, even though she posses powers, she is just a human and Atticans can kill humans in a snap." Archie took a step towards William and said, not breaking his deathly glare. 

"They cannot kill her, trust me." William replied, looking into Archie's eyes with the same intensity. 

"Why?" Archie almost yelled without breaking eye contact. 

"Because she's..." William stopped and realized but he was about to reveal. 

"She's… She's what, William?" Archie looked at him with suspicious eyes.

*What the hell I was about to do? I can't reveal that Niya is an Angel*, William thought, looking at the floor and completely ignoring Archie.

"She's *what*, William?" Archie gritted his angry teeth and said again.

"Uh, she's the Creator Queen and she is powerful enough to face this problem." William said, looking directly into his eyes.

Suddenly, they heard a thump and they looked outside the window immediately. Niya slipped off the railings and landed directly into the sea. Everyone's eyes widened in shock. The mermaid grabbed Niya's hand and pulled her into the deep water and within no second, she was out of sight. 

"What do we do now?" George asked worriedly. And everyone present in the room looked at William.

"I'll go. We will not risk everyone's life. I will go first and dive into the sea to find her, and if I do not return within thirty minutes, one of you will come to find us and this is how it will work." William said, looking at Archie and after thinking for a second or two, Archie nodded.

On the other side, Niya was floating in the cold blue water along with the mermaids as their songs were making her light and slowly become unconscious but suddenly, someone grabbed her other hand and pulled her in the opposite direction to where the mermaids were taking her to. They turned to see the intruder and within no time, both the mermaid and the merman vanished into the deep blue water. Niya looked up to try and see the person who had just saved her from them.

The seawater was blurry and because of the fast currents, she couldn't see his face clearly. She swam closer to see his face but the only thing she could see were his eyes, the dark purple eyes. She couldn't help but keep staring into those beautiful eyes. She had never seen this beautiful color in someone’s eyes before.

She touched his face to see it clearly but as soon as her hand touched it, blurry flashbacks started hovering over her mind. An image of a dark manly shadow appeared and she could hear music being played. She could hear the familiar tune of a flute as it echoed in those distant memories of hers. The music was full of divinity and she felt like she was in some kind of ecstatic state of mind. She was still floating in the water and looking into his eyes when suddenly, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the water. 

It was a sudden movement so her bracelet got tangled with that person's pendant and unknowingly, she took his pendant with her. 

"Niya? Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked her as soon as she came out of that water. She looked at the person. Dark blue eyes met her coffee brown ones.

"William!!!" She smiled and hugged him tightly. 

"Are you okay, Ni?" William hugged her back and sighed out of relief. 

"Yeah, I'm-I'm fine." She dug her face into his neck to feel safer.

"Let's go in, the mermaids may come back." William smiled and broke the hug but suddenly his eyes landed on the pendant hanging along with Niya's bracelet and his eyes widened in shock. "Where the hell did you get this?" He grabbed her wrist and took the pendant off. It was an eye-shaped pendant with a blue gemstone inside it.

"I don't know, I think it belongs to the person who saved me from the mermaids." She said, looking at the pendant carefully. 

"Saved you?" He asked in confusion. 

"Yeah, there was a person with dark purple eyes who shoved off the mermaids." She said, looking at him. William was still looking at the pendant. "This pendant is so similar to the one Archie wears all the time." Niya said, looking at the pendant. 

"Hmm, I know. Let's go in and do not tell Archie about the pendant or this purple-eyed savior." William looked around as if he was trying to find someone and took Niya inside the ship.

"Niya, are you okay?" Archie asked as soon as she entered in.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just a little cold." She smiled, hugging herself as she was soaked in the cold water so feeling a little cold was obvious. Edward ran and came back with a blanket to put around her. Everybody was looking at her without even blinking, worry swimming in all of their eyes.

"This is creepy, guys. Don't look at me like that. I said I'm fine." She looked at them and said.

"But what the hell you were doing outside of your room?" Archie looked at her with those angry eyes and asked.

"Spying on you, you were making out with some girl and I just wanted to know who was she." She bluffed just to tease him more.

"You are such an idiot." Archie chuckled at her comment because he knew she was bluffing. 

"And you are an a-hole." She whispered in his ear and smirked. 

"Now, I'm sure you are fine so go to your bed. We have to wake up early in the morning to cross the Gigaz Mountain." Archie looked at her and said.

"Okay, *Dad*." She rolled her eyes at his controlling behavior and left the place immediately. 

"How did you save her? You can't just dive into Lygnitic Sea and come back harmless." Archie raised his eyebrows and asked William.

"I don't know why but the mermaids went away as soon as I stepped into the water." William said, covering up the reality.

"Why I'm feeling like you are trying to hide something, William?" Archie looked at him as if he was trying to observe his body language. 

"Please, Archie, I'm not going to explain myself, especially not to you, my friend." William said, looking at him with angry eyes and Archie looked at everyone else before leaving the place.

Everyone went back to their respective rooms.

Niya was laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep, as the flute tone was continuously playing in her mind. Those dark purple eyes were hovering over her mind again and again.

*Purple eyes? Seriously? He must be wearing some kind of contact lenses or something like that,* she smiled at her thought. After struggling for some time, she slipped into a deep slumber. 

Archie was also thinking about the events that had happened recently. He was not ready to believe that the mermaids went away just for no reason as he was well aware of the fact that mermaids are not afraid of any creature present in all the seven universes except the Dracula kind. And their kind couldn’t enter the Musgravite Universe because of the firewall, so Archie was left with only confusion. 

*Draculas cannot enter this universe because of firewall, any other creature cannot stand against mermaids, then how is it even possible that the mermaids just went away?,* he thought looking at the ceiling. 

On the other side, William was walking back and forth in his room, looking at that pendant he got from Niya. That eye-shaped pendant. 

*No, this can't be possible. If what I'm thinking is true, I have to do something before Archie finds out about this*, he thought while frowning when suddenly he saw a dark manly shadow standing near the window of  Niya's room.

*Who the hell is that?*, he thought and opened the back door of his room to see that person standing there. William could now clearly see his face. His eyes widened with shock as soon as he looked at the face of the person. 

"Oh my goodness, am I dreaming?" He ran towards the person while whispering to himself. William grabbed that person's hand and within no time, took him to his room. His blue eyes met those dark purple eyes, his light brown curly hairs, just above his shoulders like a prince from a fairytale, were perfectly dancing with the wind coming through the open door.

"William! Buddy, I missed you." The purple-eyed man smiled at him and hugged him. William shoved him off immediately.

"Samael!!!! What the hell are you doing here?" William asked, looking at him angrily. 

"I wanted to see her." He shrugged. 

"Look, dude, this isn't the Drac Prime. Archie can kill you the second he finds out about your presence." William said, looking at him. He chuckled mockingly. 

"What? Kill me? Are you kidding me? He can't even touch me." He chuckled, looking outside the window. 

"This is Vamp Prime, his planet and you cannot kill him here, remember?" William faked a smile, raising his eyebrows. 

"Fuck that Lucifer's spell man, you know that I'm gonna kill Lucifer first." He shook his head out of frustration remembering the spell that Lucifer cast on him and because of it, Archie couldn't be killed on Vamp Prime.

"Forget that just leave, Sam or Archie could kill us both." William looked at the door to confirm no one was listening to their chit-chat. 

"Why you gotta be so rude? We used to be the best of friends, remember?" Samael said, smirking at him.

"Were. We were best friends but then you kicked my ass out of that planet just because I was not a Dracula but a vampire." William said, looking at him with angry eyes.
