42. Knights in shining armours.

William looked at the wall and smiled. Many flowers were blooming from each crack and he couldn’t help but pick one of them. Twirling it in his fingers, he smiled when he realized the type of flower that it was. Kneeling, he scratched the earth beneath them and a red stony button appeared in front of him. He smiled while looking at the button.

"Here it is. Let's go." He pressed it and it didn't work, the secret gate didn't open at all. The smile on his face faded within a second and he pressed it again but didn't work. He looked at the wall, confused.

"So you thought you can betray me and I won't do anything?" A familiar voice greeted their ears.

"Shit!" William murmured under his breath as he recognized the voice. He turned and his blue eyes met with the green ones.

"Archie!" he said, looking directly into his eyes which flashed with anger, making them look greener.

*"Archie? What the hell is he doing here?"* Samael said from the other side.

"I don't know. Plan B, guys," William whispered into the microphone and looked at George. He nodded.

*"Plan B? Are you kidding me? My team isn't ready for plan B",* Samael groaned on the other side of the microphone.

"We all are gonna die, then," George said, looking at Archie.

"You didn't expect this, did you?" Archie chuckled, taking a few steps towards them along with his bodyguards.

"You started this. Give us Niya back and we will leave peacefully," George said, looking at Archie and he scoffed.

"She belongs to me and you’re not going to leave peacefully today because I am all ready to cut you all into pieces," Archie said, bringing his sword out.

"Fine then. Let's have a fair fight," William said, taking his sword and they all attacked each other but William and George couldn't fight them for long as they were more in numbers. They tried their best and were about to give up when suddenly arrows started to hit Archie's bodyguards from behind.

"Sorry for the delay, guys!" Samael said with a smirk on his face with a bow and arrow in his hands. He was followed by his guards as planned.

"You almost got us killed," William said, looking at him annoyingly and punched Archie in the face when he was too busy looking at Samael. Samael chuckled at his sudden action. Archie's bodyguards were dead given that the arrows were poisonous and Samael created a wall around that place with his powers so no more soldiers of Archie could reach them.

Archie looked at him and sighed in frustration.

"What? I have powers, I will use them. Right?" Samael said dramatically clearly feeling Archie's frustration.

"Now, will you please bring Niya to us? Or you wanna play this for a few more minutes?" Samael took a few steps toward him with an intense gaze on his face. A gaze that could burn anyone within a second. Even Archie was startled for a second and took a step back.

"Bring Niya as soon as possible, we'll deal with him," Samael ordered William and George.

"Door isn't opening," William informed him, looking at the button.

"Then break the wall idiot. Now, I have their king as my hostage, no one will dare to stop you, and this wall has magic that will protect us," Samael said, annoyingly looking at William and George.

William and George suddenly hit the wall with a vase with their full powers. After trying for some more minutes, they were finally able to break the wall and by that time, more soldiers kept arriving after listening to the noise and were trying to enter the space to fight with them but Samael's magic wall wasn't letting them.

"Go! I can't stop them for long," Samael said, as Archie attacked him with his sword while William and George went in. They walked ahead on the greasy floor of dungeons, checking each room. After walking for five minutes, they finally saw Niya in a room, laying on a bed lifelessly, her hands and feet were tied with iron chains. A plate of food was placed on a table untouched. William looked at her with teary eyes.

"George we need to hurry up. Let's break the lock," William said, using his powers to break the lock but failed. His powers didn't work. The same happened with George. They looked at each other in fear.

"Shit! This is a magically protected area. We need to break the lock manually," George said, looking around until they finally found an old iron rod. William hit the lock with full force but couldn't break it.

"Try harder," George said and William hit the lock again but it remained unopened.

"Sam, we are unable to open the lock. We need you here," William said on his microphone.

*"The hell? Can't you guys do a simple thing without me? Wait! I'm coming,"* Sam replied and he went in by leaving Archie there who was fighting with Sam's security.

"Be quick guys," Sam said, sighing out of frustration while looking at them. He tried to break the lock with his magic but it didn't work so Sam hit the lock with the iron rod again and again with his full power but it all went to nothing.

"Niya! We are unable to unlock this door. You have to help us. This is our last chance. Try to use your magic," Sam said, looking at Niya, who was lifelessly lying on the bed with tied hands. She looked at him and a tear rolled down her cheek.

"I can't. My magic won't work here," She said, gulping. Michael was listening to the conversation and he was desperate to free his daughter. He thought for a second and closed his eyes for a brief moment.

"You can, you can do this Niya. Let me give you all my power and you will be able to use it," he said, coming closer to the wall.

"Please be quick. We are running out of time," William said, looking at Michael. He nodded and closed his eyes, within the next second, his chamber filled up with a golden light that passed through the wall and entered Niya's body. Her father's soul looked at Niya and smiled for a second.

"I love you, sweetheart. You have a long way to go. Just remember, your father loves you a lot. This sacrifice should not go in vain. Go and find that portal on Drac Prime," he said, before turning into a bright light. Niya felt a sudden surge of energy inside her body and within a second, she was able to free herself from the chains.

"No, no, Dad, please, come back. I need you. You just can't leave me here alone," she said, sobbing. Tears were flowing from her eyes continuously as she knew her dad sacrificed his life just to save her. This was all happening because of Archie. Archie, her so-called best friend, her favorite person, was the reason behind her father's death.

"Niya! Please don't let his death go in vain. Hurry up. We need to go," George said, looking at her. She was just staring at the ground blankly.

"I won't spare that bastard. I'm gonna kill that piece of shit." Niya used her magic and broke the lock but she was still weak and wasn't able to walk properly. William grabbed her quickly and they all left the place immediately.

They came out of the dungeons, where Archie was still fighting with Samael's men. Niya looked at them with so much rage in her eyes. Archie looked back at her and ordered his men to grab her but before they could even make a move, Niya moved her hands and a golden energy ball appeared in her hands, she threw it at them with full force. All of them collapsed on the floor, including Archie, and the shock was so strong that even the walls of the palace started cracking.

Niya stumbled back a few steps, bumping into someone’s chest and feeling faint. Sam picked her up bridal style after she lost consciousness and William took the opportunity to escape along with others. They finally reached outside the palace from the back door where Sam's jet was already waiting for them.

"Edward, your turn," Sam said, on his microphone before stepping onto the jet.

*"I'm on it. I have switched off the firewall. You have 10 minutes to cross it as I won't be able to stop Archie for long,"* he said from the other side. They all entered the jet and put Niya safely on the bed. She was hot, too hot.

"She’s heating up. Give me some water to calm her fever down," William said to Sam's bodyguard and he nodded. Within the next ten minutes, they were out of Vamp Prime, and contact with Edward was lost.

"You guys love her, don't you? I mean, Edward didn't even think for a second before sacrificing his life for her, here you are worrying about her like big brothers. It's strange to see this caring, loving side of you all," Samael said, looking at William.

"Of course, we love her because that's what she deserves. She is the kindest person I have ever met in my life. She treats us as her family," George said, smiling sadly at him.

"What about Edward? Will he kill him?" Samael asked.

"No, Archie won't kill him. He is the only way to get Niya back. He will try his best to blackmail Niya through Edward so I don't think he will kill him." William said, sighing in frustration.

"We are not letting him out there for long. We will save him once we will be sure of Niya's safety," George said, looking at Niya, who was still unconscious.

"I will help you as much as I can." Samael smiled, looking at them.

"That doesn't mean we are friends now. You helped us. We will help you when you will need us. So don't you dare raise your expectations more than that," William said with a stern tone, looking at Samael with his icy cold blue eyes.

"You still believe that bastard Archie? You still think that I killed your family?" Samael scoffed sadly, looking outside the window, hiding the pain in his chest which was quite visible through his dark purple shiny eyes.

"We saw you with our own eyes. You were standing there with a sword stained with blood and our family members were lying there lifelessly in front of you. You still have the face to deny it?" George said, his voice cracked a bit and his eyes were wet, remembering that horrible scene when they lost everything in the massacre of 2014.

"Did you see me stabbing them? No, right? Even if I will speak the truth, you guys won't believe me," Samael said, looking at them with wet eyes, trying his best to prevent that drop of tear from falling down his cheeks.

"Prove it. Prove your innocence and we will believe you." William said, looking straight into his eyes.
