41. Exposed.

It's been a week after that incident and Archie was managing everything in a very smart way except for the questions from George, William, and Edward. They all were worried because Niya wasn't answering their calls.

"I told you that she is busy, there was an urgent meeting with Governor Linac of the Western Province. She'll be there for some time. Don't worry," Archie said, annoyingly looking at George, who was trying to call Niya for the 100th time now. George looked at him for a second and nodded.

"And she texted you yesterday that she was fine, why are you all behaving like overprotective parents?" Archie chuckled to ease the tension in the atmosphere.

"Hmm, I think you’re right. It's just that, she never leaves without informing George. He is her secretary so it's so unusual," Edward said looking at Archie.

"And it's strange she isn't answering our calls. I mean, it's almost a week and she doesn’t have time to just pick up our calls for a minute? This is weird," William sat on the couch, looking at the floor with eyes full of worry.

"We shouldn't leave this matter like this. Call the governor of that province guys." Samael came and glared at Archie.

"Nobody is answering our calls," Edward said looking at him.

"This is suspicious," Samael said, exhaling loudly.

"I think you shouldn't interfere in our matter as it is none of your business, Samael. You were supposed to leave a week ago. Why the hell are you still here?" Archie said in an annoyed tone, rolling his eyes at him. The only person Archie was afraid of at the time was Samael. Samael was someone who could ruin all of his plans.

"I can't. I need her to sign one of the treaty papers. She promised me to do that before my departure," he said, biting an apple in his hand and sitting carelessly on the couch, and smirked at Archie.

"Let's see, I'll wait for one more day, and then I'm gonna go to the Western Province myself," William said, sighing and looking at them.

*This is getting out of hand now, I have to do something,* Archie thought, biting his lower lip in nervousness.

*I just need to find a way to help her before he kills her, I think I should talk to William,* Samael thought, looking at Archie with so much anger in his eyes.

At his house, William was sleeping peacefully and Samael entered his room quietly.

"What a shame! Niya's friends are all useless," he whispered before waking William up.

"Oie! Will! Wake up dude!" he said, trying to wake him up. William rubbed his eyes and tried to figure out what was happening.

"The hell? What are you doing here at this hour?" he asked, looking at Samael.

"It's about Niya. She is in danger and I need your help to save her," he said, pacing the room.

"Wait, what? Who is in danger? Niya?" William said, widening his eyes. Suddenly all of his sleep went away as soon as he heard Niya's name.

"Yeah," Samael proceeded to tell him ever that he told Niya how she stole the keys.

"And I think Archie caught her and now she is also in the dungeons along with her father. You have to believe me," Samael explained the situation.

"Why would Archie kidnap her father?" William asked, getting out of bed, putting his shirt on, and looking confused.

"He wants to marry her and then he will sacrifice her to get her powers," Samael said, passing him the sweater.

"Let's go! We need to call Edward and George," William said, picking up his phone from the table.

"Thanks, William, thank you for believing me," Samael said smiling at his old friend.

"I'm not believing you, Samael, I'm believing that Archie, that bastard, is capable of stooping so low," William said, giving him a cold look and he left the room immediately.

"I am gonna kill that rascal," Edward said in anger after William explained the situation.

"We have to save her if she is in there," George said, looking at them. They all nodded.

"Let's go! I can't wait for a minute now," William said, moving out of the room and others followed him.

"Samael, after we rescue Niya and her dad, you are gonna take them to Drac Prime immediately," William said, sitting in his car along with Samael and others.

"I won't be able to do that because Archie will turn on the firewall protection as soon as he finds out that Niya has escaped," Samael said, looking at him.

"I will protect the firewall trigger in the ER. I won't let him press that as long as you won't leave the space boundary of Vamp Prime."

"That would be risky. He won't hesitate to kill you once he sees you guarding it." George said, looking at Edward.

Edward looked at him for a second and sighed. "I know. But saving Niya is way more important than saving me," he said, offering George a small smile.

"And what about you guys? He’s gonna kill you all after we leave," Samael said, looking at them. "You’re all going with me to Drac Prime"

"No, we can't leave Edward behind, there is no way to do this," William said, keeping his eyes straight on the road.

"But someone has to do this,'' Edward said while looking at them. ''And if someone is going to do that... that someone would be me. No more arguments," he said, looking straight at the road with his emotionless face. Edward was not very expressive about his care, or his love towards Niya but Niya was no less than a real sister to him and he was ready to do anything to save her as she was the only family he have.

''But Ed-''

''I said no arguments, Willy,'' Edward cut him off.

''Oh, please, can you all stop your drama and get focused on what we are planning to do.'' Samael looked at them annoyingly. They all rolled their eyes at him.

''I don’t even know why are you here for. I mean, I am sure you are not here to save Niya's life, are you?'' George asked annoyingly as he was not so amazed by Samael's presence in there. Samael looked at him with his angry purple eyes and then suddenly smiled as if he was teasing George.

''I am the hero of this story! Don’t you remember? I’m the one who will take her to the Drac Prime.'' He rolled his eyes with a proud smirk on his face.

After driving for nearly three hours, they all reached the Hemsworth palace. They looked at each other before entering the palace and nodded as if they were assuring each other that everything was going to be okay but deep down in their heart they all knew that nothing was going to be okay. This was a war, a war against Archie and Archie would not show any mercy if they will go against him, they knew.

''Sam, go and get ready with your jet, I will inform you as soon as we will leave the palace with Niya,'' William said, looking at him. Sam nodded and was about to leave but William stopped him, grabbing his right arm.

Samael looked at him with confusion. But the next thing William did was even more confusing but heartwarming. William hugged him, ''I know this is gonna be difficult but I also know that only you can do this, You have to do this for me, for us."

Samael looked at him, controlling his tears as he didn't want to look weak in front of him, didn't want to look like a good boy in front of his ex-friend.

"Yeah, yeah! Go ahead. I'll do whatever I'll have to do," he said, pushing William slightly and turning his face towards the opposite, a tear rolled down his cheek and he walked away to inform his team about the plan.

"Let's go, guys!" William said, leading the other ones. As they planned, Edward left for the control room and William and George went to the dungeons. The dungeons were highly guarded by Archie after that incident so it was almost impossible to go in.

"There is no way that they will let us in without giving a good fight," George whispered, standing behind a pillar along with William.

"We don't have time to fight. We have to find a way to go in without a fight," he said, looking at the guards and the entrance of the dungeons.

"What's the plan then?" George asked, frowning in confusion.

"I know a secret way to get in. Let's go to the back side of the dungeons," William said, smirking at him proudly.

"What? A secret passage to dungeons? How do you know that?" George asked, following him.

"Because I created that passage with the help of Adrian, the chief engineer who built this palace," William said, looking here and there to confirm that nobody was on their way to the backside of the dungeons.

*Wow! You are not trustworthy Willy-Will,* Samael said through the microphone and Edward’s chuckle could be heard from the other side.

"Why did you do that?" he asked, looking at him.

"Because I couldn't trust Archie, I needed to make sure that if he puts any of us in the dungeons, we must be able to escape. Adrian was my friend so he helped me. Now, shut up and focus," William said, crossing the corridor quietly. And finally, they were in front of the back wall of the dungeons.
