Captured
As I made my way to the altar, I heard the sound of a gunshot, then another, and another. The sound echoed through the garden, and I stopped in my tracks, my heart racing. I saw Falcon's expression change from calm to alert as he signaled his men. They quickly surrounded me, shielding me from potential harm.
"Get down!" one of them yelled, pulling me to the ground.
I looked around, trying to see where the shots were coming from, but I couldn't see anything. The garden was in chaos, with people screaming and running for cover. Some were shooting back, and the sound of gunfire filled the air.
As the shooting continued, the men guarding me started taking me to a safe place. We ran inside, but a man appeared out of nowhere and shot all the guards. Before I could do anything, he hit me with a hard metal object, and I blacked out.
Back in the garden, the shots continued between the two gangs. Some people lay dead on the floor. At a corner, Falcon could be seen fighting with some men with his bare hands.
"Venom, is everything good at your side?" Falcon asked through his earpiece.
"Yes, boss, the intruders here are almost down," Venom replied, taking out a knife and slitting a man's throat. Blood spilled everywhere.
"Boss, there's no sign of Ari," Lina said through her earpiece from where she was fighting with some men. Falcon froze on the spot.
"What do you mean by that?" Falcon yelled over the earpiece.
"What she meant was Ari is not in the safe!" Blaze replied from the tech room. "And the cameras are not working; I think they've been tampered with," Landon added.
"Fuck!" Falcon cursed. "Lina and Blaze, meet me in the garage. If they've really captured her, they wouldn't have gone far. Landon and Genny, check if there's any sign of her."
Falcon got into the car, and Venom drove off. "Where are we heading to, boss?" Lina asked.
"Dragon's clan," came the cold reply from Falcon.
"Why there? I thought we were going after Stormy?" Venom questioned.
"Of course, we are. Dragon and Stormy are working together," Falcon replied coldly, surprising the others.
"Why did they know each other?" Lina asked, still in shock.
"Through the internet, of course," Blaze answered.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted that dude!" Venom barked. "Who?" questioned Blaze. "The spy that was caught, he lied to us!" Venom replied angrily.
"But boss, how did you know that Dragon and Stormy are together?" Lina asked, but Falcon didn't reply. Instead, he looked outside the window.
"Isn't it obvious, or where did you think Stormy got all those assassins from?" Blaze asked sarcastically. Lina nodded her head. "That is true, but I didn't ask you the question!" Lina snapped. Falcon, who was getting annoyed by their conversation, spoke up.
"You will soon find out yourself, so let there be silence," Falcon ordered, and they kept quiet.
When they arrived at Dragon's clan, nobody was there. "What are we going to do, boss? They've escaped," Venom asked.
"Stormy will pay for this. Let's go back!" Falcon ordered. As they were about to enter their car, a voice stopped them.
"Going back so soon?" The voice asked, and Falcon turned to see Stormy standing in front of the mansion with two thugs.
"You haven't answered my question," Stormy reminded.
"Where is Ari?" Falcon asked, ignoring her question. This got Stormy annoyed.
"Really, Ari?" Stormy questioned in disappointment. "You didn't even ask about me, why I started all these fights. But the first thing you could think of is Ari's well-being!"
Falcon scoffed. "Why are you being so stupid, Stormy? I didn't know you were this dumb! So, if you love your head, answer my question!"
"I won't be answering that question, Falcon. Because if I can't have your heart, then no one will!" Stormy replied. Before she noticed, Falcon took out his gun and shot her leg.
"Ahh!" Stormy shouted as she fell to the floor. When she looked beside her, the two thugs who were with her were lying dead.
"Stupid obsession!" Falcon spat. "Carry her!" He ordered his men, and they took her away as they drove off.
As I slowly regained consciousness, I found myself in a dark, damp room. I was lying on a cold, hard floor, and my head was pounding. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my head, making me fall back down.
"Welcome back, Ari," a voice said from the shadows.
I tried to speak, but my voice was hoarse. "Where...where am I?" I managed to croak.
"You're in a place where no one can find you," the voice replied. "At least, not until we're ready for them to."
I tried to remember how I got there, but my memories were fuzzy. I remembered walking down the aisle, hearing gunshots, and then...nothing.
"Who are you?" I asked, trying to see into the darkness.
"My name is Dragon," the voice replied. "And you, Ari, are my leverage."
I struggled to sit up again, but Dragon's men held me down. "What do you want from me?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
"Oh, I think you know," Dragon said, stepping into the light. "You're going to help me take down Falcon and his clan. And in return, I might let you live."
I spat in his face. "I'll never help you.”
Dragon's smile sent chills down my spine. "You're quite the feisty one, aren't you?" he said, wiping my spit from his face. "I like that."
I struggled against the men holding me, but they were too strong.
"You're going to regret this, Dragon," I spat. "Falcon will find me, and he'll kill you."
Dragon chuckled. "I'm shaking in my boots. But until then, you're mine."
He signaled to his men, who dragged me to my feet and tossed me onto a nearby chair.
"You see, Ari, I've been planning this for a long time," Dragon said, leaning against the wall. "And with you as my leverage, I'll finally be able to take down Falcon and his clan."
I glared at him. "You'll never get away with it."
Dragon shrugged. "We'll see about that."
"You know, Ari," Dragon said, turning back to me. "I've always admired your spirit. But it's going to be your downfall."
When they got back to the mansion, Stormy was taken to the torture room and tied to a chair, her eyes closed because she was still unconscious. Just then, Falcon entered.
"Wake her up!" He ordered, so Blaze and Venom poured cold water on her, and she blinked her eyes slowly before finally opening them.
"Stormy, this would be the last time I will be asking you this with my mouth, so if you love yourself, do what is right. Where is Ari?" Falcon questioned with a straight face.
"I won't tell you, Falcon. If I can't have you, then no one will!" Stormy deadpanned.
"Okay then, since that's your choice, I will just have to fulfill my promise by torturing you. But don't get afraid yet, because someone else will start," Falcon said, and Stormy wondered who the person was. A minute later, a figure walked in, and this got Stormy surprised.
"Lilith?" Stormy asked, her voice laced with shock.
