The Web Of Deceit
Few minutes ago, Xavier's words hung in the air, a bombshell that threatened to destroy everything. Falcon's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities.
"Are you certain?" he asked, his voice low and deadly. Xavier nodded.
"Yes, Boss. I have proof. Stormy plans to kill Ari on your wedding day."
Venom's eyes flashed with anger. "We can't let that happen," he growled.
Falcon's expression was grim. "We won't. But we need a plan."
The three of us sat down, our minds racing with strategies and counter-strategies. We knew we had to act fast, before Stormy made her move.
"We need to pretend like nothing's happened," Falcon said.
"We can't let Stormy know we're onto her."
Venom nodded. "I'll keep an eye on her. See if she makes any moves."
Xavier nodded. "I'll dig deeper, see if I can find any more information."
Falcon's eyes locked onto ours. "I will be having a meeting with the clan tomorrow to see if she had more people who were part of the escape plan."
The next day, Falcon called all the clan members together. His eyes scanned the room, searching for any sign of guilt.
"I know one of you influenced Ari into the escape plan," he growled. "And I want to know who."
The room fell silent, each member avoiding eye contact.
"Stormy, was it you?" Falcon asked, his voice dripping with malice.
Stormy shook her head, an innocent look on her face. "No, Boss, I had nothing to do with it."
Falcon's eyes narrowed, but he said nothing. He knew Stormy was lying, but he couldn't prove it. Not yet.
One by one, the clan members denied any involvement. But Falcon knew one of them was hiding something.
Finally, the meeting adjourned, and each clan member walked out of the hall to their suites.
Stormy paced back and forth in her room, her mind racing with plans. Genny sat on the bed, watching her with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"Stormy, what's going on?" Genny asked. "You've been acting strange all day."
Stormy stopped pacing and turned to Genny. "I'm just taking care of a problem, Genny. That's all."
Genny raised an eyebrow. "What problem?"
Stormy's eyes narrowed. "Ari. She's a threat to everything I want. And I need to eliminate her."
Genny's expression turned cold. "I don't want any part of this, Stormy. I won't help you hurt Ari."
Stormy's face twisted in anger. "Fine. You're useless to me anyway."
Genny stood up, her eyes flashing with defiance. "I'm not afraid of you, Stormy. And I won't let you hurt Ari, she has done nothing wrong."
Stormy sneered. "We'll see about that."
Genny turned and walked out of the room, leaving Stormy seething with anger.
Meanwhile, in the Tech room with Blaze, Landon, Hellcat, and Klein, discussing the events that had unfolded after the meeting with Falcon.
"I can't believe Stormy had the nerve to deny any involvement in Ari escape plan," Blaze said, shaking his head.
Landon snorted. "Of course she did. We all know that Stormy is a devil"
Hellcat's eyes narrowed. "But what's her endgame? What does she hope to achieve by hurting Ari”
Klein leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers. "I think Stormy is trying to get to Boss through Ari, Stormy is so obsessed with Boss”
Blaze's expression turned grim. "We need to make sure she is safe. We can't let Stormy get to her again."
Landon nodded. "I've been going over the security footage. I think I can find a way to increase the security around her room."
Hellcat stood up, her eyes flashing with determination. "I'll work with Landon to get that set up. We need to make sure Ari is safe."
Klein nodded. "I'll keep digging into Stormy's background. See if I can find any connections to our organization."
Blaze's eyes locked onto their’s "We need to work together. We can't let our guard down for a second."
The team nodded in agreement, their faces set with determination.
Meanwhile, Falcon was heading to my room, his mind focused on the plan to protect me. He entered the room, finding Lina tending to my wounds.
"How is she?" Falcon asked, his voice softening.
Lina looked up, a worried expression on her face.
"She's still unconscious, Boss. But she'll be okay. She just needs time to heal."
Falcon nodded, his eyes locking onto my pale face. "What about her wounds? Are they severe?"
Lina hesitated. "They're not good, Boss. She was whipped pretty badly. But I've been taking care of her, trying to nurse her back to health even though it's not really my thing."
Falcon's expression darkened. "I'll kill Stormy for this," he muttered.
Lina's eyes widened in alarm. "Boss, no! You can't just go around killing people. That's not the way to handle this."
Falcon's eyes locked onto hers. "You don't understand, Lina. Stormy is a threat to everything I hold dear. And I'll stop at nothing to protect it."
Just then, my eyes flickered open. I looked up at Falcon, confusion in my eyes. "Boss?" I whispered. "What...what happened?"
Falcon's expression softened. "You tried to escape, Ari. And now you're in grave danger."
My eyes widened, fear creeping into my voice. "Stormy...she's going to kill me..."
Falcon's eyes locked onto mine, a promise in his gaze. "I won't let that happen, Ari. I'll protect you."
My eyes searched his face, looking for reassurance. "But why? Why would you protect me?"
Falcon's expression was grim. "Because I need you, Ari. And I won't let anyone take you away from me."
My eyes narrowed, suspicion in my voice. "What do you mean? Why do you need me?"
Falcon's eyes locked onto mine, a fierce intensity in his gaze. "Because you're mine, Ari. And I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe."
I felt a shiver run down my spine at his words. I didn't know what to make of Falcon's sudden protectiveness. But I knew one thing - I wouldn't go down without a fight.
"I'm not yours, Falcon," I spat. "Even though I've been sold to you, I'll never be yours until I see the evidence of my father's signature."
Falcon's expression didn't change. "We'll see about that, Ari. We'll see about that.”
Lina cleared her throat, interrupting the tense moment. "Boss, maybe you should let her rest. She needs time to heal."
Falcon nodded, his eyes never leaving mine. "Yes, you're right. I'll let her rest."
As Falcon turned to leave, my voice stopped him. "Boss?"
He turned back, his eyes questioning. "Why are you doing this? Why are you protecting me?"
Falcon's expression was grim. "Because I have a plan, Ari. And you're a part of it."
I frowned, unsure what to make of his words. But before I could ask more questions, Falcon turned and left the room.
