STILL HIDING FROM ME

The next day, I woke up to a series of knocks and doorbells so I slammed it open. I almost cried out in shock when he was exposed in front of me.
"Good morning," he greeted me in a hoarse voice.
He went straight inside and headed to the kitchen so I immediately followed him. He was wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. He looked even cleaner because of what he was wearing. His hair is still messy. He looks even more tempting in the morning and newly awake. Help me.
He put the paper bag he was carrying on the table and those two coffees. I just followed my gaze on him as he prepared the food he bought.
“I’m sorry. Because I'm not used to having breakfast alone,” he told me while still preparing the food.
He looked at me for a moment and quickly turned away again. "Seat," he also added.
When I sat down he withdrew in front of me a saucer with only pastry. He also handed over a coffee he had brought. He sat down next to me so I started eating.
I continued to eat until I could see his periodic glance at me. I saw him stop looking at my chest. He slowly licked his lower lip and clenched his jaw. My eyes widened when I remembered something.
I don’t have a bra and I’m only wearing a thin t-shirt!
“Pervert! You are so rude!” I shouted at him and even hit him then ran to my room.
I even heard him laugh so I was even more embarrassed. I was shocked when I saw how I looked in the mirror. I was just wearing an oversized shirt and nothing on beneath but only my underwear. I just let my hair down and wear glasses as I always do.
My head almost exploded in embarrassment as I wore a bra and pajamas. Why does he suddenly come here?! I just woke up, for fuck’s sake!
When I got back I almost hit him just because he was smiling while eating. I sat back in my chair earlier and continued to eat even though I am actually very embarrassed now.
I want to kick him out right now because of what he's doing but I don't have the courage. Why did this man even become my neighbor?
"Don't be ashamed of me. As if I haven’t seen all of you yet,” I heard him say while still smirking like an idiot.
I could almost pour him the coffee I was drinking. I stepped on him under the table so he laughed even harder. Damn this man!
“Don't even look at me! Why did you come here so early?!” I shouted at him while still irritated by the way he smiled at me.
He laughed again and gave me a dirty look. He glared at me again.
“You look hot wearing an oversized shirt without a... bra,” he said to me.
He even tilted his head to look at me when he stood up because he had finished eating.
"But you look better when you're wearing my clothes," he added and smirked at me again.
Before I could stone him, he went to the sink to put what he had eaten. I could feel the heat all over my face until he could come back. His smile was still on his lips and he was still staring at me softly.
I couldn’t find the right thing to say to him so I just remained silent as if I haven't heard anything. What’s wrong with this guy? Why does he always tease me when I visit him?
He later said goodbye, but before he could leave he spoke again.
“Anyway, fix yourself. I have an early appointment with an investor. I’ll wait for you outside,” he said and looked at me again.
He smiled at me and gently nodded at me before finally leaving.
When he was finally gone I just let out a violent sigh. I was still thinking about what he had said earlier. I was trying to forget that scenario in my brain, but here he was as if he was reminding me every day. I suddenly wondered if he thought the same thing every time he saw me. Damn, Rae. Organize yourself and your brain!
When I finished bathing and tidying up, I got dressed. I just wore a bodycon dress with satin fabric and then I just covered it with a white coat. While I was putting a little makeup on my face, my phone suddenly beeped.

My forehead furrowed because of that text. I would have asked more about who texted but when I saw its history I immediately guessed it was Levi.
I shrugged my shoulder and just followed what he said. This is the first time I will wear contact lenses because I am really used to glasses. There is nothing wrong with trying.
When I came out of my unit, I was exposed to his face. He was leaning against the wall there while it was plastered. I could smell the fragrance of his perfume that was really delicious on the nose. He's wearing black slacks again and a gray button-down and his chest was slightly exposed again. His coat just rested on his shoulder.
When he saw me he quickly approached me. I saw how he looks at me from head to toe and nodded softly when he turned his eyes to me.
He smiled at me and held out his palm in front of me so I quickly placed the papers I was holding there. I was surprised when he suddenly laughed.
"I was referring to your hands though," he laughed at me.
My jaw dropped. I quickly took the papers in his hand and passed him. I heard him laugh again and grabbed my hand so I couldn't keep quiet.
“Stop resisting, Rae. I'm not going to eat you,” he said, still teasing me.
“Well, unless you want me to—”
“Oh, shut up. It’s not funny at all,” I interrupted him.
This is melting me off. Damn it.
It only took him an hour to meet with the investor before it ended. During those times, I also only helped from time to time because Levi told me earlier that it was easy. He told me not to move. I don’t understand him sometimes.
“Thanks, Lumiere. You’re a big help,” Sir Leo said to me as I was about to hand him his flash drive.
I just smiled a little as he calls me by my second name.
“It's just Rae, Sir. It's too long for Lumiere,” I hesitated to answer him as I put away the things used in the meeting earlier.
“It’s okay. You have a pretty name same as you. So, we’ll be seeing each other sooner or later?” he asked me so I just nodded.
"Of course, sir. We’ll see each other frequently soon when the collab between Acuzar Empire and SCC continues,” I told him and we both laughed.
When I turned to look at Levi, he looked at me badly as he was sitting pretty so I walked away.
"You're really good at talking to strangers, huh?" he seriously told me as he stand up.
"You shouldn't do that while I'm here, Astraea," he added in a cold baritone voice.
I just nodded and stared at him when he turned around. When we left the conference room, Jaxon greeted us and immediately smiled at me.
"Hey, Rae! You're here again,” he said then put his arm around me.
I automatically looked at Levi who looked at me even more at his cousin.
"What are you doing here?" Levi asked him as we walked toward the elevator.
"I just want to ask if you're free tonight. There’s an after-party at home for Celine,” I heard him say to Levi without taking his arm away from me.
Before we could get into the elevator, he was so annoyed that he took his cousin's arm away from me and pulled me closer to him.
"Shut up, Jaxon. She is with me. I'm going,” he said seriously and struggled a little.
Jaxon and I just looked at each other and then laughed softly.
When the elevator opened, the familiar woman exposed herself to us. I bit my lower lip when I remembered who she was.
"Hoseah..."
“Levi! I was right, I get to see you here. Still hiding from me, huh?” it artistically told him and automatically hooked both her hands on Levi's neck.
I rolled my eyes and look in the other direction. Why does she suddenly appear? And why is this man hiding from her?
