ANOTHER PAST?

“I didn't sleep well last night. It was too noisy,” Yerim hissed while we were having breakfast.
We all looked at her with a smirk and frown. I could feel the heat all over my face especially when Levi sneezed. When I looked at him, he had a wide grin and was still biting his lower lip.
“We thought, just us. You too?” Rafa asked her so I got a palm on my face because of the embarrassment.
"It's good that I'm wearing earphones," Sebastian uttered so I looked at him sharply.
“I also didn't sleep well. What about you, Lumiere?” Levi asked me that made my heart flutter.
My jaw dropped while looking at him in disbelief. Are we really going to talk about everything that happened this morning so that they can keep quiet?
“Oh, my god. I can’t believe this,” I reluctantly told them and got up to go to the kitchen.
I even heard the laughter of the four of them so I felt even more embarrassed.
I didn’t know that! I thought this whole unit was soundproof because he was rich and could afford to have it built here. Why — did they all hear?! Damn it, Rae! You have nothing to hide from them from now on.
After we had breakfast, Rafa and Yerim set sail for their respective jobs, while Levi prepared me because we were going somewhere.
I suddenly remembered what he said about the social party that we were going to and now that’s it. I don't have any to wear yet. What can I do?!
My phone suddenly beeped while I was blowing dry my hair. When I saw who was texting I immediately read it.

**Levi**
Don’t wear your corporate. We're not going to the office

I furrowed my forehead while composing a reply to him.

**To Levi**
E? Where?

**Levi**
Just wear your usual clothes, Lumiere. I'm already out here

When I read that, I was in a hurry with what I was doing. Luckily I hadn't put on my corporate attire yet so I looked for clothes again. I just took trousers pants and a blouse from my closet and got dressed.
When I got out of my unit I caught up with him at the door guard. He’s wearing a gray muscle tee and navy blue pants. Even though his shape is very simple, he looks like a model because apart from being handsome, he is also tall. I keep shrinking myself.
"Where are we?" I asked him as I was putting my seatbelt on.
He tilted his head to look at me. His hair is messy as if on purpose so it suits him to look better now.
Why is this man so handsome?
“Didn’t I tell you about the social party?” he asked me so I was alert.
“Huh? Now? I thought tonight?” worried I asked him because of how I look now.
Levi just laughed and then grabbed my hand.
“Stop being so innocent. Maybe that's where I'll take you now and we won't be able to continue where we're going tonight,” he declared in a teasing tone.
I was just frustrated because he said even though I really wanted what was on his mind. Hihi!
It was only about an hour until we arrived at a parlor and boutique that I think is only for the rich. I saw people coming in and out, full of designer bags and expensive clothes. I was hesitant to go inside because of my appearance but I could do nothing when Levi took me by the hand and pulled me inside.
“Hi, Sir Levi! Good thing you arrived early!” the receptionist greeted him and looked at me.
"Is that her?" I even heard her ask Levi so I just kept looking at her.
“Yes, Anika. Give her the best treatment. I trust you,” Levi told her and then looked at me who just remained confused.
I was about to say something when the chimes of the parlor rang. Before I could turn around there I saw the kiss of a woman who looked exactly like me on Levi's cheek. I immediately lost my smile. I knew her.
“We meet again, Lev! You’re coming to the party tonight, right?” she asked him with a wide smile.
"There's the witch again," Anika whispered beside me so I looked at her.
I even saw its grin before turning my gaze back to the two of them.
“Yes, Mari, and—”
"I can be your date!" Mari exclaimed.
I could no longer hide my irritation. I wanted to answer their conversation but I couldn't give myself up because of how I looked. It was as if I was looking at myself, but its state was very different. A class and sophisticated version of me. A, yeah. She’s Mari, a family friend of his.
“I’m sorry but I already have one. Here’s Astraea, whom you met last night. Do you remember her?” Levi said and introduced me to her.
Mari’s eyes lands on our hands when Levi held me. I saw its strange grin.
“God, Levi. Can’t get enough of me so you’re looking for someone like me?” she stated and looked at me intently.
I suddenly remembered Levi’s expression that night when Jaxon told him that she was downstairs, waiting for him. Is this another past?
