Alaric turned his head and looked at each of them individually. He saw Merit's unwavering stare and Denis's raised eyebrows. He also noticed Elizabeth kneeling on the floor and Katherine's scalp that was already mending. After that, he turned his head to cast a glimpse at Dominic, who was sitting against the wall looking gloomy and stoic. "I'll assist," he offered at last. "What the hell, it's the granddaddy of all case studies."

Elizabeth responded with, "All well, then." "You're in. Now, what will happen with Mr. Smallwood the next day? What would you do if he asked you to hypnotize Tyler once more?"

Elizabeth responded with, "All well, then." "You have a spot. Now, what will happen with Mr. Smallwood the next day? What would you do if he asked you to hypnotize Tyler once more?"

Katherine paused and added, "Wait." "There should not be a dance, not if there is any possibility at all of stopping it from happening. Because you have a solid relationship with the principle, you will be able to discuss this matter with the board of directors. Insist that they call it off."

Alaric seems shocked by the news. "Do you believe that anything is going to take place?"

Katherine responded with a "yes." "Not just as a result of the events that have transpired at the previous public gatherings, but also because something is accumulating. I can sense the tension rising ever since the beginning of the week."

Elizabeth said, "And so can I." She hadn't understood it until that very moment, but the sensation of strain and urgency that she was experiencing was coming from somewhere other than simply inside herself. It was outdoors, in every direction. It made the atmosphere more dense. "It seems like you're in for an adventure, Alaric.

Alaric released his breath in the form of a whistling sound. "I suppose I could attempt to persuade them, but I'm not really sure that would work. Your teacher is adamant that everything should seem completely normal at all times. In addition to this, I am unable to provide any reasonable justification for my desire to put an end to it."

"Make a strong effort," Elizabeth admonished.

"I will. In the meanwhile, you want to give some thought to how you might safeguard yourself. If what Merit claims is true, then the majority of the assaults have been directed against you and the individuals who are close to you. Your burial ceremony was disrupted; your partner was thrown into a well; someone pursued your automobile into the river; and your car ended up in the river. According to Merit, even your little sister was put in danger. It is recommended that you leave town if anything significant is likely to take place the next day."

Now it was Elizabeth's turn to have her eyes opened wide in surprise. She had never considered the assaults in that light before, but it turned out to be accurate. She could hear Katherine take a breath in, and she could feel his fingers tightening their grip on her.

Katherine said that her brother was correct. "Elizabeth, you need to get out of here. I am able to remain here until-"

"No. I won't go if you don't come with me. And," Elizabeth added, pondering the situation in a deliberate manner, "I'm not going anywhere until we discover the Other Power and put an end to it."" She gave him a sincere gaze up while picking up the pace of her speech. "Oh, Katherine, why can't you see that there is absolutely no one else who has a chance against it? The others around Mr. Smallwood, including his buddies, are completely clueless. Alaric believes that you can defeat it if you wave your hands in front of it. Nobody has any idea what they're getting themselves into. We are the only ones who can provide assistance at this time."

Both in Katherine's gaze and in the intonation of his muscles, she could see and feel the fight that Katherine was putting up. But as she maintained her gaze on him in a direct manner, she saw his arguments disintegrate one by one. Because that was the truth, and Katherine detested being dishonest, this explanation is the only plausible one.

At long last, he spoke the agonizing words "All right." "However, as soon as this whole thing is through, we will be going. You are not going to be allowed to remain in that town as long as there are people walking about with stakes."

"Yes." Elizabeth responded to the pressure applied by his fingers by applying it to her own. "As soon as this is finished, we'll be on our way."
