A considerable amount of time was spent with Katherine fixating on the golden circlet that he held in his hand.
After that, he pressed his fingers together over the opening, and he gazed back at Dominic. The eyes of his sibling were closed, and he was breathing in a laborious manner. He seemed to be worn out and in discomfort.
And Katherine had assured Elizabeth that she would keep her word.
He spoke softly and slipped the ring away in his pocket before saying, "Come on." "Let's get you some place where you can relax."
He reached out and wrapped his arm around his sibling in order to assist him in standing. After that, for a little while, he just kept his grip on the object.
This was a gift from Katherine to me. The majority of the items in his room have been donated by him. When you initially asked me about it, I responded by saying that I didn't want it since I didn't know what to do with it. But at this point, I believe I
Think about something.
Already, people are beginning to forget what happened. They are not paying attention to the specifics and are adding stuff that they have made up on the spot. And most importantly, the reasons that they provide are completely fabricated. Why it was not really anything supernatural, and why there is a reasonable explanation for whatever it was that happened. There is no way to stop them, particularly the grownups, even if it is completely ridiculous what they are doing.
They are the worst of the bunch. They are suggesting that the dogs have some kind of aversion to water. The disease has been given a new name by the veterinarian, which is "some type of rabies that is communicated by bats." That, according to Merit, is ironic. I believe it's plain silly.
The children are doing somewhat better, particularly those who attended the dance last night. There are those of them, like Sue Carson and Vickie, that I believe we can count on. In only the last two days, Vickie has undergone a remarkable transformation, which is nothing short of a miracle. She is not the same as she has been for the last two and a half months, nor is she the same as she used to be. However, she is not the way she used to be either. She used to be very much a bimbo and hang out with a rough bunch, but now she's grown up. However, I believe that she is doing well today.
Even Caroline didn't have such a terrible day today. She remained silent at the last service, but she did speak during this one. She claimed that Elizabeth was the true snow queen, which was something of a lift from Sue's statement from earlier, but it was probably the best that Caroline could do given the situation. It was a kind act on their part.
Elizabeth seemed to be at complete ease. Not like a wax figure, but as if she were dozing off in her sleep. I am aware that everyone says that, but it is in fact correct. This time, it can really be said to be true.
People were talking about "her extraordinary escape from drowning" and other such things after the event had concluded. And claiming that she passed away due to some kind of embolism. Which is just absurd to say the least. However, it is what sparked the concept in my head.
I'm going to open up her second journal that's been stashed away in her closet. After that, I'm going to speak with Mrs. Grimesby about putting them in the library. They won't be kept in a case like Honoria Fell's, though; rather, they will be placed in an area where patrons may easily access them and read them. Because the answer may be found in here. Herein is the meat and potatoes of the tale. And I don't want anybody to lose sight of that fact.
I believe that the children will remember, maybe.
It's possible that I ought to explain what took place to the rest of the individuals who were in the area; Elizabeth would desire that. Even though she is one of the grownups who is unable of dealing with the facts, Aunt Judith is doing OK. She requires a logical justification for her actions. She and Robert have decided to tie the knot during the holiday season. It's likely that Margaret will benefit from this.
Margaret is thinking in the correct direction here. She shared with me at the memorial ceremony that she plans to see Elizabeth and her parents at some point in the future, but not just now since there were a lot of things she still needed to take care of here in this location. I have no clue where she got that notion from in her brain.
She is very perceptive for her age of four. She is very perceptive for her age of four.
typical, in every sense of the word typical. Everyone else manages to grab the males. I am considering putting one of my grandmother's practices to the test in order to determine whether or not I will ever end up getting married. There isn't even a single person in this area who I would consider marrying.
There is Matt, to be sure. Matt is a wonderful guy. But at the moment, he is only thinking about one particular female. It's hard for me to say whether or not that will ever shift.
After today's service, he took his anger out on Tyler by punching him in the nose since Tyler had made a vulgar comment about her. I can always count on Tyler to be the same guy, regardless of the circumstances. He will never change from the rude and annoying guy that he is right now.
But Matt, well, Matt's eyes are a really striking shade of blue. In addition to that, he has an excellent right hook.
Katherine was unable to strike Tyler since he was not there in the scene. There are still many individuals in this town who are under the impression that he murdered Elizabeth. They argue that he must have done it since there was no one else in the room. When the people who were trying to save Katherine came to the crypt, her ashes were dispersed all over the place. Katherine claims that the reason she exploded like that was because she was so elderly at the time. He claims that he ought to have understood the first time, when Katherine acted as if she was burning, that a young vampire would not turn to ashes in such a manner. She'd simply die, like Elizabeth. Only the really old ones fall apart.
If they could get a hold of Dominic, there is a chance that some individuals, most notably Mr. Smallwood and his cronies, would place the blame on him. But they are unable to. Because Katherine had assisted him in escaping, he was nowhere to be seen when they arrived at the grave. Katherine won't reveal the location, but based on the clues provided, I believe it's somewhere in the woods. It seems that vampires have a quick recovery time since Katherine informed me that Dominic had left Fell's Church today when I caught up with him after the service. I believe Dominic didn't tell him about it, but he wasn't pleased about it. The question that has to be asked at this point is, "What is Dominic doing?" Are you going around biting young girls? Or has he changed his ways? In any case, I wouldn't place any bets on it. Dominic was a peculiar individual.
However, stunning. Absolutely stunning in every way.
Even Katherine won't divulge the location of his next destination. However, I have a strange sense that Dominic could be in for a shock if he turns around and looks behind him. It would seem that Elizabeth coerced Katherine into promising that she would look out for him in some capacity. And Katherine takes the responsibility of keeping her word quite seriously.
I wish him well. On the other hand, he'll be fulfilling Elizabeth's request, which should provide him a sense of fulfillment. As content as he possibly be without her in this location. He is now seen walking about with her ring hanging on a chain around his neck.
