Next morning, Kenneth knocked on the door. Still here? I smiled and opened the door, inviting him in to sit. He took out some documents and handed them to me. I was startled. Sure enough, he also wanted to divorce me, it made me furious.
"You like that courtyard, right? I bought it, when you have time, you can go choose the furnishings."
I looked at the floor plan and couldn't help but hesitate for a moment. But then I thought about the humiliation I suffered yesterday, and my heart turned to ashes. I also smiled and handed him a set of documents,
"Thank you, I also have a set of documents that require Mr. Xie's signature."
He took the divorce agreement and his expression instantly turned dark.
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing, I'll let you be with your first love. I won't fight her for you. It's not like I have no one else, there are plenty of men in the world."
He stood there, his face turning green with anger.
"Is it the one from last time?" His voice trembled.
"That's none of your business."
"So, you're throwing me after getting me? Have you been playing with me this whole time?"
What does he mean by "get me"? He's sick!
"Sorry, I need to go to the Marriage License Bureau now, I can still make it for the afternoon appointment, Mr. Xie, please."
"Have you made up your mind?"
"I have."
He stared at me intently, sighed, "Another time, I'm busy right now."
"Then this afternoon."
"I'm busy this afternoon too."
"Then tomorrow."
"I'm busy tomorrow too."
I was speechless.
"Kenneth, what do you mean?"
"I'm going on a business trip to expand the European market. I won't have time for the next few months."

He ignored me and walked away.
