When I landed, I went to a cafe and bought a fancy breakfast for him, his secretary, and his assistant. Then, I carefully dressed up in the taxi, putting on a vibrant orange blush to showcase my youthful energy.
Miranda texted me, "Did you really go? "Are you going to catch them in the act?"
"Ugh, it's just a spot check."
Carrying my Hermes bag and wearing high heels, I appeared at Kenneth's room door precisely at 8 o'clock. Just as I raised my hand to knock on the door, a voice suddenly came from inside - "Kenneth , thank you, I really don't know what I would do without you."
I was very familiar with this voice. My heart skipped a beat. In order to maintain my dignity, I stood at the door for five minutes before finally starting to knock.
"It's me," I voluntarily announced myself.
Then, standing at the door, I waited for it to be opened. Kenneth opened the door and looked at me with surprise.
"What's wrong? Why are you here?"
