Annoying Sound

I stuttered, suddenly the hairs on the back of my neck started to tingle. Seeing this man's cold face which always gave me an unfriendly look.

I gulped repeatedly, my face must have looked funny. David tried hard not to laugh. He probably didn't expect that I would be that afraid of the lecturer who was adored by almost all the female students on campus.

I woke up from my momentary reverie, I knew that the man in front of me was waiting for an answer from me and acting clumsy like this would only leave things much worse.

"I-" before I finished my sentence, Levi just walked past me. I was speechless, I felt like a fool.

"You stupid!" David thought. This time his effort not to laugh was even harder. David was a little surprised that the rumors that had been circulating among students about how difficult it was to interact with Levi were actually true.

Very cold, quiet and seems cynical when talking to other people. Even though it looks cool, it's honestly really awkward and scary.

"Welcome, sir? Happy shopping!" David said he was just making small talk. Even though he was reluctant to greet this man directly, because of his status as a lecturer, like it or not, David had to show respect every time he passed him.

David smiled so wide that the corners of his lips were pulled upwards. He thought that this way he could convey a friendly attitude, but the reality he had to accept was not what he expected. Levi William Stanley continued walking without even looking at him.

"Huh? Hahahaha..." I laughed out loud seeing the stupid and fake smile that David showed. It made my stomach tingle.

"Damn it, why are you laughing?" David was annoyed. His face flushed with embarrassment because it turned out he was also ignored.

"Hahaha...oh my God. You've tried so hard to smile stupidly like that but instead it's ignored. What a shame!" I said mockingly.

"You're really going too far, aren't you? Don't you realize that he ignored you before? Don't throw insults at me as if I'm the only one who has bad luck here!"

"Well, at least I'm not trying too hard like you! Hahaha...okay, then I'll excuse myself. See you, David? When he comes back, be friendly with him, okay?" I said as I walked away through the glass door in front of him.

"Tsk, damn. How can I be friendly to him? Agh that's annoying."

"I think I've bought everything. Kerry's order of apple juice and bananas has also been bought. Ok, I hope this way we can have a sale and I will apologize for what happened earlier." I muttered.

I had arrived in front of the bedroom door, suddenly I felt a little nervous. Thinking about what I should do, whether to just enter without knocking first or knock on the door as if I were a guest in my own room.

"Agh...what was I thinking? I have to go in now and find a fun topic to chat-"

"Ah...oh...Josh, please slow down a bit! You're too rough!"

I fell silent for a moment when I heard the sound of a collective sigh coming from inside the room. My right hand almost touched the surface of the door and I was forced to postpone my intention to knock on the door.

"What-is that sound? Kerry? Really?" I felt my heart beating very fast. My mind felt strange with the suspicion that suddenly appeared in my head.

Now the only thing I can do is listen to what's really going on in the room from behind the door.

"Uh...oh...fuck, I can't stop! I'll do it harder, baby!"

There was a man's voice along with a woman's sigh which I assumed was Kerry. Even though I didn't want to jump to conclusions, it was very clear that what was happening in there was a couple having sex.

"Josh...finish quickly! I think Soraya will be back soon! So hurry up and finish!"

"Hold on, three more minutes. I'm almost done! Ugh...this is so good!"

My body was shaking, I really didn't expect that I would have to experience this shocking thing in my early days as a student. I'm only 19 years old and although sexual relations between men and women are normal, it's not for me.

My frozen body remained motionless in front of the door. What should I do at times like this is the big question spinning in my head.

"What should I do? Did Kerry really bring a man into the room and have sex? Oh my gosh, he was really crazy to do it in the room I was in."

The bedroom door opened, a blonde man with earrings in his ears that was exactly the same as the man who passed me at the convenience store an hour ago came out of the room.

I, realizing the door was open, spontaneously turned towards the door to the left. The man stood in front of the door, their eyes met. The man looked at him sarcastically with the corners of his lips slightly raised. I felt very nervous because I was sure this man knew that I had just been eavesdropping at the door.

"Josh, don't forget to call me later-" Kerry snaked. His sentence stopped when his eyes caught my pale face in front of the door.

Kerry, who was still wearing a towel, glared sharply, she was very sure that I was there when she and her boyfriend were having fun making love.

"S-Soraya? Y-you've been back long ago?" Kerry Smith asked awkwardly. She stuttered, as if he had just been caught off guard.
