CH11 Back to work

Once breakfast was over Damon and I left for work, we walked hand in hand towards the library, people greeted us and we greeted back, we got to the library, I kissed Damon before heading inside, I smiled warmly at Matt in greeting
"Good morning Matt"
"Morning Anastasia"
I got to work taking inventory and cleaning tables, I also served customers, in the afternoon I blinked to Damons work place and we had lunch together, then I went back to work, in the evening, after goodbyes, I went home, I cooked some pasta, ate, then went online to see how my book was doing, my book was published on amazon and other platforms my book was also available in book stores for people to buy in the mortal world in this world it was available in the library, I smiled when I saw how much money I had made.
At eight Damon came home, he kissed me then went upstairs to get changed, once he came downstairs he sat next to me, I put my head on his shoulder as I watched 'spider man no way home'.
Once the movie was over
"Anastasia I was wondering if you could do me a favour" Damon asked I looked at him, giving him my full attention, he seemed worried, whatever this favour was, it wasn't good, and that worried me
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Nothing, I mean well, it's weird, and, oh just curious, it would be nice to find out" he was rambling
"Damon, calm down baby, what's the favour?" I asked him, stopping him from talking, Damon scratched the back of his head, something he did when he didn't know what to do, he sighed
"I need to talk to the moon goddess" he told me, I raised an eyebrow at him, wanting him to explain, his shoulders sagged "Matts wolf, Mason, said that the reason I'm the only one that can calm him down is probably because we were related in a past life, and that I should talk to the moon goddess" he shrugged, I had no idea how to contact the moon goddess, was she even real? I mean I knew the wares believed in her but it was Evangeline that created the wares not a goddess, I thought maybe I should talk to Anubis, but before I could call for him, he appeared in front of us, I gasped, Anubis wasn't fazed as he smiled affectionately towards us, I noticed he wasn't alone, there was a beautiful woman with him, she had long white hair, she wore a silver crown with a white crescent moon on it, she wore a plain white dress
"This is Selene, the moon goddess" Anubis introduced us, Damon and I both stood up, and bowed our heads
"Thankyou for saving my children" Selene spoke in a calming voice, Damon and I both nodded, "I believe you have something to ask me?" Selene spoke to Damon, Damon glanced at me then turned to the goddess
"I was helping Matt, he's an unmated wolf, his wolf, Mason, told me we might've been related in a past life, I just wanted to know if that was possible" Damon asked, Selene closed her eyes for a few minutes, when she opened them she smiled in adoration towards my mate, that made me smile
"It would be better to show you" Selene said as she put out her hands for us to take, without hesitation Damon and I both grabbed onto a hand each "because the past cannot be changed, you will appear like ghosts" Selene explained.
We appeared in a big house, we were standing in the kitchen, everything looked so old, the dining table was wooden, it would sit no more than ten people, there were cupboards no stove, no kettle, no toaster, there was what seemed to be a fire place in the middle of the kitchen, a couldron hanging above the flames, I could smell the food cooking
"The year is thirteen forty" Selene began "No one can see us, and you cannot touch anything or anyone" four people were sat around the dinning table whilst a woman stood at the couldron, "that is Julius" Selene pointed at the oldest man he had long dirty blond curly hair "that is his mate, Anna" she pointed at the woman she was wearing a long black gown, "that is Jacob, and that is Henry" Jacob had long brown hair, like his mother, and Henry's hair was a dirty blond, like his father "Jacob and Henry are brothers, Jacob is two years older than Henry and will be alpha when his father steps down" Selene explained, to which Damon and I nodded "Jacob is Matt, and Henry is..."
"Is me" Damon interrupted the moon goddess, Selene smiled at him with a nod "so Matt and I were brothers" Damon commented, to which Selene smiled and nodded once again. We looked on as the family before us had a conversation
"When will you be ready to be alpha, Jacob? I would like to step down" Julius was asking
"When I find my mate, father" Jacob sighed, just then another woman walked in and went straight to Henry, she kissed his cheek, Henry smiled and I looked towards Damon who just looked apologetically towards me, I held his hand and smiled, I noticed Jacobs eyes glaze over
"They are mind linking" Selene explained
"Rouges" Henry growled, as the two brothers stood up and ran towards us, we stepped out of the way as the two men ran out of the door and shifted into their wolves, Henry's wolf was black, Jacob's wolf was a lighter shade of black but it was bigger, we followed them outside, we easily kept up with them as they ran towards the woods, they stopped when they came to a group of wolves, Jacob shifted back to his human form in front of a wolf lying on the grass, he growled at the wolf then sniffed the air,
"Who hurt this wolf?" He asked the wolves around him, one wolf stepped forward and shifted
"It was me" he said as he bowed his head in submission in front of his future alpha, Jacob walked to him and began punching him, Henry shouted for him to stop but he wouldn't, Julius then stepped forward and stopped his son from killing the warrior.
"SHES MY MATE" Jacob shouted, it felt like everyone stopped breathing, Jacob sat next to his mate and whimpered, the she wolf took her last breath and Jacob screamed towards the sky
