'From how you say it, how does it feel?"
'You tend to think about them all the time, you always miss them and make up excuses just to be
with them. You tend to smile when you think of them and when they call your name…it gives you this exciting shiver. It's an amazing feeling all together." She explained with such tender voice and warmth in her eyes that I found myself admiring how beautiful she looks when she's caught in her own world.
'Did anyone tell you how beautiful you look when you're lost in your thoughts?" I asked more to myself.
'Huh?' She asked turning to me but then I shook my head sideways. Thank God she didn't hear me. What was I even thinking?
'About that love, what if you get irritated by the mention of her name, wants to rip her apart for being rude and always wished she gets into trouble…is that also love?"
'Of course not, it's either hate or obsession." She replied with a chuckle.
'Oh, I see. That's a relief." I said with a smile.
We spent some time together, she kept me company for a very long time. My phone kept buzzing in my pocket only to bring it out and see like twenty messages in just two minutes.
'Hey…where are you." 'Get your butt back here"
'I can't believe I have to work in this farm."
' I hope I fail the tests" I read through and scrolled to the last message and my heart skipped a beat as I read through.
'Tae-Jun-ah…can you please come back. Are you there?" For the first time in her life, she called my name…well she texted it anyway.
'Athenag-ah… I think we should get going. They are done with the tests ' I said to her bad she nodded.
'Over here!!" Athenag shouted on top of her voice when she saw Gianna from the distance.
'Hi, I'm Athenag, nice to finally meet you." Athenag introduced herself as Gianna approached her.
'Hi...Hi… I'm Gianna, nice to meet you too." She replied stretching for a handshake. This time around she didn't put spit in her palm before shaking hands. Did she do that intentionally the other time?
I went to meet Ma'am . as Gianna and her newly found friend.
'So, how was she?" I asked and Ma'am smiled.
' She's got charms son, she's one handful. She's smart and I just love her honesty. I've taken a lot of women through this test but then she's an exception. You shouldn't give her a hard time."
'Does it mean she passed the test?"
'The Queen would have to confirm and her decision will be final, for now from my prospective…she's going to come out with flying colors."
'That's a relief, we will be on our way then." 'Okay son. Take care."
I said goodbye to Athenag and dragged Gianna along with me, sat her into the car and drove off.
'Thanks for the ride. I hope I fail all the tests." She said as she got out of the car and slammed the door so noisy that it drew the attention of the other students.
'I think you shouldn't be seen with me often, they might think we have something going on between us." She said with a low tone.
'Don't worry about that, even when the media asks me I'll let them know that you're just a maid/personal assistant of mine." I replied.
' Oh, I see…bye."
'About the test…don't think you gonna fail because I'll do everything in my power to get you as my maid." I said with a smirk and she groaned at me.
' I hate you!!" I heard her scream as she walked on me.
It's so fun getting on her nerves.

I was shocked and shivering after receiving the call, I can't believe I passed the test I was so eager to fail. This is so unfair, very unfair. I walked to the bedroom and fell on the bed, Zoe and Sandra are both out and I was the only one left. I kicked my legs in the air with anger. Why me God, why me
I stood up, paced from one end of the room to the other, chewing on my thumb nail, I was filled with anger.
I can't stand a day next to him, he's so authoritative and so annoying, always ordering people around, making me go through hell. He's selfish, mean, arrogant and irritating.
He sounded so happy when he broke the news to me, I can't believe I made him have his way and I'll have to spend a hundred days by his side. He better prays I don't be the cause of his premature death because someone should better hold me.
'Meet me in front of your dormitory in five minutes." I read his text and sighed, patience Gianna, patience.
I got dressed up, wore my blue jeans trousers with a cream flowered designed blouse. I wore my black sandals and headed for the door when I realized I had forgotten my cell phone. I walked back into the bedroom and fetched my phone from the dressing table, I wrote a short note and left it on the table for Zoe and Sandra before heading out.
He tossed his car key at me and I caught it because of my dumbass reflexes.
'You will be driving today." He said walking to the passenger side at the back.
' Why?"
'Aren't you my personal assistant/maid? Do you really need to ask that question?"
' Yeah rub it in my face, go ahead and rub it in it." I said to myself as I opened the driver's side and sat down.
I started the engine of the car, reversed then turned a little to my tight trying to turn around towards the direction of the main gate of the gate.
'If I may ask…where are we going to?" I asked but I didn't hear him reply.
' Do you expect me to just drive without knowing where we are headed to?" I asked but still no response.
'Hey!! Can't you hear me!!" I screamed at him when I realized he had a headphone on and wasn't even paying attention.
'For crying out loud…why would you let me waste my precious time by letting me drive you without a destination… I'm talking to you." I said letting go of the steering wheel trying to take off his headset.
Before I realized the car went running into a nearby pole. That was when I realized I had left the steering wheel and the car was on it's on.
Oh my God what have I done? My eyes grew wider as I stared at cheesy Grinch and he stared at me back. I'm just hoping no part of the car was damaged.
' Do you plan on Killing me? Just look at what you've done!!" He yelled at me and went out of the car and I followed suit.
' Now see what you've done due to your carelessness!!" He yelled again.
' Do you know how much this car costs?!"
'Hey!! This is all your fault in the first place, only if you had answered me when I asked you we wouldn't have found ourselves in this situation right now!" I yelled back at him.
'Oh, so now it's my fault that you drove carelessly!"
'I didn't drive carelessly, you we're ignoring my questions when I asked you because you wore that your stupid headset and wouldn't even answer me. So, don't stand here and blame me for what happened! You think you can just use me anyhow uh? I have a life of my won and instead of you asking if I'm alright…all you care about is your stupid car! You know what… I've had enough!!" I yelled at him and he was dumb folded as he stared at me with disbelieve as I breathed heavily.

I couldn't believe it, she went running into a pole and now my car is spoilt.
'I didn't drive carelessly, you we're ignoring my questions when I asked you because you wore that your stupid headset and wouldn't even answer me. So, don't stand here and blame me for what happened! You think you can just use me anyhow uh? I have a life of my own and instead of you asking if I'm alright…all you care about is your stupid car! You know what… I've had enough!!"She yelled at me and I was dumb folded and stared at her with disbelieve as she breathed heavily.
I was stunned and her words were striking me like lightning bolts. She breathed heavily and threw the car key at me, we were suddenly surrounded by people and I could hear the siren of a police car approached. She turned around and was about to walk away when she suddenly fell back and I caught her in time. Her hands falling over my shoulder…my heart was racing faster than it has ever been. Her breath ghosting over my shoulder, her heart beat wasn't normal, it was slow and I could sense she wasn't moving so I went down on my knees slowly as I held her and placed her in my arms, that was when I realized she had lost consciousness.
'Wild orchid…Gianna…Hey wake up already." I said shaking her but she wasn't responding and I was getting scared.
'Someone please call an ambulance! Please!!" I screamed for help and an ambulance arrived in a short period of time.
Upon arriving to the hospital, I saw the news on the television and it was viral. I didn't care about that all I cared about was that I hope she wasn't hurt internally. Her words kept ringing in my ears, how could I have been so selfish!
She was hurt and all I cared about was my 'stupid car" yeah, she's right, I'm a selfish person. I couldn't even ask her if she was alright because she was in the front seat, a few meters away.
I paced back and forth in front of the emergency ward, waiting for a nurse or doctor to walk out. I have no idea what I was thinking.
'Ummm how is she?" I asked a doctor who walked out and he sighed then looked up at me.
' Are you her guardian?" He asked
'Umm bout that…"
' Are you her guardian?" He asked again and I turned to see sign no one was watching and whispered 'yes" into his ears.
'Well there are no severe injuries. I don't know what exactly happened but then she was traumatized by the incident. Do you have any idea if she's been through a similar accident?" The doctor asked and I shook my head sideways.
'None that I know of…but is she going to be alright?" I asked and be smiled.
'Yes… She just needs some rest to recover and she'll be fine." He replied and was about to take his leave when I saw my mother(the Queen) walk into the hospital and the Doctor bowed to her.
'Son are you alright?" She asked and the doctor froze.
'Son?" He asked more to himself with a totally shocked look, he turned his head and was marveled to discover that I was the Prince. He looked at me and then looked at the poster in the far end of the waiting room and then back to me, the poster actually had a picture of me wearing a doctor's uniform and with a nose mask on.
'Thank you doctor!" I said waving at him and he hurried back into the ward.
' I'm alright mom…I'm perfectly fine." I replied and she heaved a sigh of relief.
'What about Gianna…is she alright…she was admitted here right?" She asked and I nodded.
' Son how can you have her drive the car, you nearly lost your life. I think we should cease with her being your maid. Do you even know if she has a driver's license or not. Son I can't…"
'No mom…it was all my fault. I was the one who caused the accident." I interjected and her jaw
dropped.
'Son… what do you mean by you caused the accident?"
' If only I had done what she told me to…it wouldn't have happened. I distracted her and she lost control. Please don't let it seems like she was responsible." I don't even know why I said that but then they were the words that came out when she told me to reconsider Gianna being my personal assistant/maid.
' Son… I'm glad you've begin to take responsibilities of your own wrong doings and faults. I'm proud of you. I think I owe this thanks to Gianna." Mom said hugging me warmly.
' You should probably go back to the Castle… don't worry about Gianna…the doctor said she's going to be fine and I'll make sure that she's well taken care of. '
'If you say so Son. I will take my leave now. Take care." Mom said planting a kiss on both cheeks before leaving with the guards.
Gianna was sent to a private ward later on. I sat next to her bed, it was tiring and I really needed to sleep. I have been yawning for hours but then I wanted to stay awake.
Why am I acting so strange all of a sudden?
'Why don't you get some sleep?" her sluggish but low tone got me up.
'Oh, you're awake?" I asked with a little excitement in my voice but then I cleared my throat and went back to my cold and stiff self.
'Yeah…you don't need to watch over me while I sleep. I think you should go home and have some sleep." She said to me and I shook my head.
'Why?" She asked.
'Immediately I get home…they will all be asking about you and stuff. Besides I answered your phone calls too."
'You what?"
'Yeah, Sandra, Zoe and Mason kept calling so I had to answer."
'And what did you tell them?"
'I just told them we will be spending the night together since the news of our accident was cleared so no one actually knows about it. So, I just told them we will be together for the whole night."
'Oh my God I can't believe I'm listening to you right now. How can you just tell them that we will be spending the night together!"
'But it's true, aren't we spending the night together?" I asked and she yelled at me.
'Hey! Are you out of your mind…no are you an idiot? Do you have any idea the kind of impression you just gave them?!"
'Umm I don't think you should be yelling at me right now because the doctor said you needed some rest." I said and she threw one of her pillows at me and I caught it in midair.
'See I caught it. Get some rest before you get depressed." I teased her and the look on her face was priceless .
' I'm going to kill you when I get out of here." She said with furry and I just laughed as she groaned in anger.
' Let me call the doctor and inform him that you're awake." I said with no card in the world, ignoring her furry as I walked out of the door to call the doctor.
Upon the doctor seeing how furious she had gotten, he gave her a shot and she went to sleep again.
She was discharged the next day and she was eager to go home and tell the others that I was wrong about spending the night together. I mean we did spend the night, together didn't we?
I called for a cab and the driver arrived in few minutes time. I was about to open the door for the backseat when she pushed me aside and sat inside instead and when I was about to sit beside her at the backseat she pushed me out, slammed the car door and glared at me with rolling eyes.
'Why act like that after we just spent the night together." I said sitting down next to the driver at the front seat.
' Do you have any idea what you mean by saying 'we spent the night together" do you?" She asked me and I just giggled from the front seat. The driver drove on and I could hear her murmur something at the backseat, whenever our eyes meet through the mirror, she would glare at me so hardly that I thought her eyes were going to fall off.
' Thank you so much. You can keep the change." I said to the driver as I gave him the fair. He nodded and thank me before driving off.
'Here…those are your medications (threw the pack of medicines at her), make sure to take them as prescribed and do not forget to get some rest because it's needed 'according" to the doctor. I would care less even if you didn't take it. Also, you have two days off, today and tomorrow to get some rest and make sure to resume back to work on Friday. We've got some work to do."
' Can I go now?" she asked and I nodded.
' Well last night was great!!" I yelled and she ran off to her room. Oh, it's so nice worrying her. It makes me feel alive you know.
Man, I forgot to ask her about her trauma…she wouldn't have told me anyway but then if I use any of the others… I'll get her to talk and I'll get to know too.
I took a cab to the lounge and behold Waylon was back.axel was busy in the kitchen and Waylon was busy playing video game.
' Hey welcome back bro. I heard you spent the night with Gianna."axel said from the kitchen.
' You what? With who??" Waylon immediately turned to me and I gulped.
' Yeah we both spent the night together…but why are you so concerned when you don't even have feelings for her?" I replied.
'You don't need to have feelings for someone to be concerned about them. She's my friend for crying out loud.
'Oh, you're right though. I'm going to take a shower. Will be in my room if you need me or anything. Or and before I leave, Waylon…can I ask you for a favor?"
'Sure."
'Umm it's about Gianna." 'What about her?"
'The doctors said she was traumatized by the incident and there is a high possibility that there's something behind it.'
' Could it be something related to an accident or something?" Waylon asked sand I shrugged.
'I have no idea but can you please find out for me…I mean the doctor, so he will know how to help her out of it."
' Okay sure… I'm going to help you on that but promise me something."
'And what's that?"
'That you'll give her less of a hard time." 'Oh, about that… I can't promise you that."
'Hey!!" He said throwing the foamy ball in his hands at me, I dodged and headed straight to my room.
'Dinner is ready!!"axel called from the kitchen, we all gathered at the dining table but then he excused himself to pack a lunch box when we heard the doorbell ring.
' What's with the lunch box?" I asked.
' It's for Gianna, I mean she wouldn't be in her current situation if it's not for our mightyian…so the least I can do is give her some of her favorite food." He replied.
' You mean what we are eating right now is her favorite food?" I asked and he nodded.
' When did you know about her favorite food?"
'Since the day Waylon found out." He said as he headed for the door.
He returned empty handed and sat with us.
' I can't believe we are having her favorite food for dinner." I blurted out and they stared at me.
' What?"
' The last time I recall, this was your favorite food." Waylon pointed out and I gulped, busted!!
' No…now it's not… I can't have this as my favorite food."
'Then I'll be glad to continue from here."axel said, stretching forth his hand to take my plate of food but then I took it and pulled away.
' I thought you said it's not your favorite food anymore so I will like to continue it from here." He said still trying to take the plate of food from me.
'Hey! If I said it's not my favorite food anymore doesn't mean I won't eat it." I cried out and they both burst out laughing.
'You are so unbelievable..." They said with a chorus and returned to the food.
I bounced out of bed, took my bath and wore my favorite clothes for class. Well Waylon doesn't have
a class today so he was lying lazily on the couch as he tossed from one side to the other, crossing his leg, then throwing them on the shoulder of the couch then handing his head upside down. What is wrong with him?
' Waylon-ah…what's your problem…you look terrible." I said to him when I noticed how bulgy his eyes had become, he had eye sags.
'I wasn't able to sleep, I couldn't even blink a little sleep and now I'm frustrated!! I want to sleep!!" He screamed and I nearly jumped out of my skin.
'Dude you're too loud!" I snapped at him and he sat back down in the couch.
' Yeah, I've become really, loud haven't I? I think I'll go see the doctor…I'll go have my bath and go see the doctor." He said standing to his feet.
' Yeah, that is a great idea. I'll see you after school and please don't forget to do what I asked of you
yesterday!" I said to Waylon who was already a few meters away from his room.
'Okay… I will meet with her today after I return and if she's free during that time." He said sluggishly and slammed the door behind him.
I thinkaxel has already left because there was no sign of him around and breakfast was already prepared. I gulped down the cup of tea and headed on out for lectures.
I parked my car at the parking lot and was about to walk out of my car when I heard some people talking nearby, I heard Gianna's name and I decided to stay a little longer to listen to what they were talking about.
' I don't even know why the Prince will spend time with that cheap twerp."
' She's all over him and flirting with both brothers…she's always all over the younger Prince
and now she's aiming for the crowned Prince."
' Maybe she's his mistress…Maybe the Prince is just using Aurora as a cover up and is in a secret Roman relationship with Gianna."
' Yeah…he spend less time with his fiancé and is always with that low class nobody. It just gives me the chills…I can't imagine the Prince with her.
She's going around flirting with all the rich guys on Campus. Recently I saw her with Woo Bin, the third-year student who just arrived from Canada."
That does it! I stormed out of my car and walked over to them.
'Oh…your…your highness." They said stammering as they bowed to show respect.
'Umm I hope you didn't hear what we…" One of the girls blurted out and another elbowed her side to make her shut it.
