'Her what?!" I exclaimed and the bowl in my hand fell to the floor.
' I thought you weren't bothered in anyway." Waylon blurted out with no concern.
' She's my personal maid."
' And you're always using that as an excuse, I don't know why you're using her being your maid as an excuse not to believe he was her first love."axel stated and I glared at him.
' Hey…I just…"
' Thaddeus is her first love and that's it." Waylon pointed out.
' I thought you two kissed?" I blurted out.
' What? They…Gianna and Waylon kissed?"axel asked and I nodded.
' My oh my…" he said clasping his hands on his mouth with shock.
' I caught them red handed, you should've seen how passionate they were. At that moment I wished I could just drag them both out…"I said.
'Urmmian-ah…you're…errrm…"axel drew my attention to the crumpled plastic bowls in my hand.
' See, he's totally jealous but won't admit it."
' I said I have nothing for her and it doesn't matter if that Thad or Thaddeus or whoever is her first love. I don't fucking care!" I made myself clear.
'Okay okay we get you." They both surrendered.
' Her lips tasted so good, damn they were like sweet wine dripping from a honey and milk fountain." Waylon teased and I threw a nearby sponge at him which he dodged.
' You see, just accept it. You have feelings for her!!" he yelled on top of his voice as he ran outside.

I returned to the kitchen and began washing the dishes whenaxel walked up to me with both hands in his pocket. He stood in front of me and leaned against the wall.
' Why are you doing this to yourself?" He asked. ' Uh?"
'About Gianna." He said and came closer. 'What about her?"
' This Thaddeus guy has the upper hand now and it seems he also has an interest in Gianna as well. If you keep letting your ego get in your way and your pride overshadowing your love, you'll lose the woman you've ever loved. I know you are engaged to Aurora but then your heart is directed towards someone else. It's better you take an action now before it's too late." He said and just left like that.
Yeah, he left, just like that. I know I get messed up sometimes but then when it comes to her, I turn to feel miserable when I recall what I said to her.
Even if I feel something for her she wouldn't reciprocate the feeling. I mean who would love a guy who rubbed the fact that she's from a lower-class family in her face.
I bet she hates me much more than she already did. I'm a really horrible person.
She makes me feel unworthy whenever I hurt her, I've never felt this way about myself.
I washed the dishes and headed for the pool at the backyard, sat at the edge of the pool with both legs in the pool, extending my arms backwards and supporting my upper body above the pool.
Reflecting back on all that I did, no matter how much I try, she has a way of getting into my head. You might not understand why I want to refuse what I feel for her. Even if I have feelings for her and she ends up feeling the same way, we still can't be together. I am tied to Aurora and I am obliged to marry her.
Gianna didn't even give me a reply after sending her the apology, what shows she's going to be happy to know that I feel something for her.
This is all messed up, there's no way my parents are going to agree with the idea of me telling them that I'm in love with someone else so my engagement with Aurora should be declined.
My phone buzzed and I took it from the mini table near me as I checked what it was. It was a message from Waylon, a picture of Gianna and the exchange student holding hands and smiling at
each other with ' He's already winning and you'll lose her for good" written under it.
No, I can't hold back anymore!!
I quickly got out of the pool and rushed to my room for my shirt which I wore and headed out of the lounge.
'Gianna!!" I called out her name when I saw her holding two ice cream cones in her hands.
'Your… your majesty." She said with a bow and I frowned. What's up with her?
' What are you up to?" I asked her. ' I'm with my friends." She replied.
'Thaddeus?" I asked and she smiled.
'Mmm he's also with us as well. Waylon andaxel are there too."
'Oh Okay." 'Wanna join?"
Wait, did she just invite me to join them, no… let me play hard to get.
' Oh no thanks, I've got somethings to attend to." I replied.
' Okay." She said pursing her lips with a nod as she turned to leave.
Won't she insist on me coming? She went ahead and I guess I messed up.
I silently followed her an she went to join the others, she was seated beside Thaddeus who helped her set down the ice cream cones and filled them with ice creams.
I watched from the distance as they giggled and make fun of each other, I found myself smiling at the sight of her laughing so joyously.
Then my smile suddenly fade when Thaddeus leaned closer to her, my heart began to race faster and before I knew it…I was already there with them all staring at me.
'Urrm I thought you said you had something to do?" she asked me , breaking the silence.
'Oh yeah I did. But I thought about your invitation again and decided that 'why not?"" I replied and she nodded.
She was about to offer me a seat but then I walked behind her and sat in between her and Thaddeus.
Knowing very well that what I did was inappropriate, I took a cone and served myself some ice cream which I took a bite of.
'Wow, this tastes so good. Zoe-ah, where you the one who made it?" I asked taking another bite and I saw Waylon secretly giving me a thumbs up.
' The three of us made it." She said pointing to Sandra and Gianna.
'oh, I see, no wonder it tastes so delicious. Here have some." I said turning to Gianna and offering
her a bite of my ice cream.
'Urmmm….I…I…" she stammered as she around but I shrugged and moved the ice cream closer to her mouth.
'Ahhhh…" I said to her.
'Your…" I shoved it into her mouth before she could talk any further.
' I had no idea you girls make such delicious ice creams." I complimented eating more of it.
I stole a glance at Thaddeus who was getting impatient and biting his lower lips with a chuckle.
' Why, aren't you going to have some bite as well?" I asked him.
' Of course, I will." She replied.
'By the way, sorry for what happened yesterday. Let me officially introduce myself to you. I'm Ian."
'I'm Alexi Thaddeus, half Russian half English." He said and we shook hands.
' I heard you're Gianna's first love." I said to him and they all gasped.
'ian-ah..." Gianna finally called me by my name.
'Hallelujah" I silently said in my head. 'What?" I asked turning to her.
' I thought he already knew, don't tell me you haven't told him about you and Waylon's…" She held me and covered my mouth.
'Nico-ah please…wait how did you... whatever." She said trying to pull me off of the chair.
I fought back playfully trying to remove her hand from my mouth. You have no idea her happy I am now Gianna. With your hands covering my mouth, fight me not to utter another word so I don't get
you in trouble, even though I might not say it out loud but this give me joy that you finally called me by my name like you used to.
'Hey…why are you doing this to me.?" She asked when she finally got me away from the others.
'what have I done wrong?" I asked with absolute innocence.
' How can you just blurt it out about the…and how did you find out that he was my first love?"
' Everyone knows…Waylon knows,axel knows so what's bad about me also knowing about it?"
' Hey…you are so … I don't know what to do with you." She cried.

' Yeah, you heard me right. He overheard your confession because he was on his way back to the
pavilion and besides you were so loud about it." 'What?"
' Good thing he doesn't know you and Waylon kissed."
'Huh?"
'Yeah, I saw you two…Ah, I can't believe he betrayed me."
' Have you been spying on me?" She asked.
'Me…spy on you? Why would I?" I asked and she looked at me keenly as if she was trying to find the answers in my eyes.
'Then how come you know Waylon and I kissed."
' It was an accident. I know you might be my personal maid/assistant but then we both agreed to respect each other's privacy but then you don't secure yours so I end up finding out."
' I'm so embarrassed." She cried bowing down her head.
'Well this is all your fault!" she barked at me and I was shocked.
'Eh?"
' Arrghh, never mind." She said and turned towards the others and so did I. I realized Thaddeus was staring at us so I took the opportunity to lean in closer to her ear.
'Should I tell your dear Thaddeus about what I know?" I whispered into her ears, holding her shoulders. She was silent for a while then pulled back.
'Then I'll put it on the internet about how you were able to put aside your ego and apologized to a lowly maid. I'm going to tag it as 'the mighty crowned Prince apologies to his maid." Then everyone will know about your soft sweet side." She said and I looked at her.
' I bet you don't even have the letter." 'Oh really?"
'Yeah, I bet you threw it away a long time ago."
'What if I told you that I kept it. What if I told you I even have a copy and a picture of it on my phone."
'Then lemme have a look." I suggested and she crossed both arms on her chest.
' No."
'Alright then, this means you have no proof and then Thaddeus will find out that you have a secret…"
'Here it is!" She interjected putting the phone in my face that I could barely see what she was showing me. She moved the phone back a little with her grip firm on the phone as she showed me the picture.
I gulped nervously at the sight of the picture and
she smirked.
'So…what do you say?" She asked mischievously.
' Okay…let's say we are both on the same note now, I'll keep your little naughty secret. What do you say?"
' Good." She said with a smirk and walked back to the table.
I sucked on my teeth and rolled my eyes at her when our eyes met.
I sat down next to Waylon instead and kept glaring at Thaddeus and Gianna who seemed to be having fun.
' By the way, what were you two talking about that took you that long?" Mason asked and with Gianna and I turned to him.
'It was just some master and…" I replied
' Yeah… he's totally right." Gianna interjected.
'Right about what?" Mason asked Gianna who turned to me and blinked both eyes.
' Oh, we were talking about me going to prepare some stuffs for him and the others and tidy up the lounge." Gianna explained and I looked at her with surprise as she just made something up.
'Oh yeah that's true. That was what we were talking About." I added and they nodded.
We spent some time together and you can't believe what Thaddeus was doing, I mean he was all over Gianna!
We all know she's your first love, why be all over her!
'I noticed how you glared at Thaddeus back there, I thought your eyes were going to fall out anytime soon." Waylon said andaxel giggled.
' I can't believe him, he's all over her, willing to clean the stains on her lips and smiling and…Ah..."
' Oh my God, you look so pissed."axel teased and I threw a pillow at him.
We were laughing when we heard the door bell,axel went to check who it was and it was her.
' It's Gianna." He said to me and I immediately jumped out of the couch and headed for the door was I opened the door for her to come in.
' I can't believe they actually bought my lie and pushed me to come here." She murmured as she entered.
'Hi everyone." She greeted and sank into the sofa in the living room.
' Are you here for the cleaning up?"axel asked and she nodded.
'Why don't you start with the crowned prince room?" Waylon suggested winking at me and I knew what he was up to.
'Okay…" she said and stood up and I led the way.
I have no idea what came over me the moment we entered my room, I looked the door behind us and pinned her on the wall. I felt like it was something I was yearning to do.
'Tae…Nico-ah…" She cried and I bowed down my head, gathering courage and looked back into her eyes.
'What are you doing?" She asked trying to free herself.
' Gianna…" I called her name and she went mute and stared right back at me.
' Gianna, I'm going crazy…I don't know what you've done to me but I'm restless. I get really pissed off when I see you with him. Gianna I've kept this within, what I feel for you I can't hide it no more. No matter how hard I try to deny this feeling…it keeps growing. I love you too much to the extent that I don't even know how to express it. I can't hold myself back anymore Gianna…"
'No…no…no. Do. You think I'm going to fall for this trick again? Of course not. There's no way you're going to..."
I didn't wait for her to utter another word as I stopped her with a kiss on her lips.
She gasped with her eyes growing wider as she stared at me in shock.
' This is no trick Gianna…I love you." I confessed as I tucked her hair behind her right ear and pulled her in for a kiss with my right hand on the small of her back, I pulled her closer with my chest against hers…I kissed her deeply and a smile drew at the corner of my lips when she kissed me back and slowly sent her arms around my neck and brushed her right fingers down my jawline sending chills down my spine. I felt at ease and kissed her more.
