I stared at her as she walked away with her mom and they got lost in the crowd.
I turned around to lock the door when I heard footsteps.
' You were with her, weren't you?" It was Aurora. ' And how's that your concern?"
' I am still your wife for crying out loud."
' So…?"
' Excuse you? You think you are going to get her now that she's the Princess."
' I would still run to her even if she wasn't a Princess. You know better than anyone that I absolutely feel nothing for you and that I got married to you because my parents and yours planned this whole thing up. My attorney will be coming over at noon with the divorce papers for you to sign them."
' Do you think I'll just sign it because you tell me to?"
' Our marriage was more like a contract, for both kingdoms…we had to get married and now the truth has been revealed, you are nothing but a nobody who doesn't deserve to be a Royalty. You signing it is not about me telling you to. It's an order." I said and walked away.
' You will pay for this!! You'll regret what you just said to me!!"
I shook my head and headed for the crowd. Everything happened so fast, I'm having a very terrible headache. I'll head home first to get some rest. I loosened my tie a little and walked ahead.
I accidentally bumped into a kid, he looks like he's around five to seven years old. I held on to him before preventing him from falling down.
' I'm so sorry." He apologized.
' No, I'm the one who's supposed to apologize. I wasn't watching were I was going. Are you alright?"
' Yes please." He said with a smile.
' Sir are you okay?" He asked me and I squatted down so I could be at his height level and I smiled.
' You aren't okay right?" He asked again and I brushed his hair with my palm.
' Why do you say that?"
' My mom said it's easy to know how something is doing by just looking into their eyes when they smile. Your eyes are saying a whole different thing from your smile."
' I guess your mom taught you really well."
' Is it a girl problem?" I quirked an eyebrow at him with surprise.
' How did you know?"
'Well my Uncle once told me good looking men mostly have problems when it comes to girls. It's either their too good looking for them or the lady is scared of losing him to another lady or…he messed up really bad. Would you want my advice?"
' Yeah sure."
' Give her some time, she'll come back. If she doesn't, shower her with her favorite food, clothes
and toys. Give her everything she likes. She'll surely come around okay."
' I'll take your advice and thank you." I said with a smile and he smiled back at me.
' What's your name?" I asked him.
' I'm Ji Tae. Ji Tae at your service." His reply made me chuckle.
' I'mian.ian at your service." I said and shook his hand.
' Wow…we both have Tae to our names." He said excitedly and I smiled.
'I better get going before mommy comes looking for me. Bye Uncle Tae!" he said as he ran off and I waved at him.
I smiled at myself as I walked to my car and sat at the driver's seat. He's matured than his age. I wonder who is mother is. I'll want to meet her one day.
He completely changed my mood from bad to good, such a cute and sweet little boy. I think I'll take his advice.
I heaved a sigh and started the car engine and drove off back home.
Upon my arrival, the first people I met were my parents. I guess they've seen the news as well. For the first time in their life, they were wrong about my marriage.
' Is it true?" Mom asked me the very moment I walked in.
' About Aurora and her mother being imposters?" I asked her and she nodded.
' What of Gianna, is it also true that she's the real Princess?" She asked and I nodded turning to my father.
' See, now my life is screwed up… You always think you are always right but then look what just
happened. You made me break up with her by threatening to destroy her for life but then look who she turned out to be. The daughter in-law you wanted to have. Now she hates me!" I said to my dad's face.
' Watch your words!"
' I didn't offend you, did I? Where my words containing rude language? No…so why? Now I've lost her for good Father. Thanks to you, she despises me, she resents me and doesn't want to have anything to do with me."
' Son…" Mom interjected.
' I bet you're both happy now. Just admit it that you're not always right! And mom…I thought you liked Gianna a lot but I guess I was wrong with how you backed dad up when he threatened me. You two…" I said bitterly.
' Because of what you made me do, because of your threat…my own brother hates me. Waylon doesn't want anything to with me either. You know what….forget it." I said and was about to leave when I saw Waylon standing a few feet away from me.
' What did you just say?" He asked me and I gulped. ' Waylon…"
' What did you mean about mom and dad threatening you…were they the ones who made you dump Gianna?" Waylon asked angrily and walked up to us.
' Waylon… it's…it's…"
' Why didn't you tell me the truth all this whileian? Why have you kept it all to yourself for the past five years?"
' I had no choice and besides I didn't plan on you finding out."

' Yes Waylon, it's better we keep it the way it is."
' So, you lose the woman you've ever love forever? What are sayingian…This isn't worth your sacrificeian. Let her know the truth." Waylon said to me ignoring mom and dad.
' It will make mom and dad look bad before her and who would want to get married to me when my parents once threatened to destroy her life?"
' I can't believe you're saying." He said and turned to mom and dad.
' Are you two happy now? I can't believe a King who's supposed to protect his subjects was rather out to destroy his subject. You two only care about yourselves and the kingdom, what about your children, what about the happiness of your two sons? I guess our happiness is the last thing on your list.
Just look at how things turned out, the tables took a great turn and now they're the powerful ones because their oil company is back on its feet and they are in charge. The ones you wanted to get rid of have the upper hand now and your son hasn't had a piece of mind for five good years. I don't know who you are anymore because these people in front of me aren't the parents I grew up looking up to. ' Waylon said angrily and walked out on them.
Dad was quiet as mom went after him but he wouldn't even turn around to listen to anything she had to say.
Dad looked at me and heaved a sigh before leaving. What Waylon said really hit him hard. Something I find difficult to bring out, he just did.
I did my best and held back the tears trying to come out and when I got to my room, I walked straight into the shower and turned it on as I cried my out.
It's been a week since the whole thing happened and I barely see my parents around. I heard Dad went to meet the Queen Mother of Sol Empire yesterday. Only God knows what he went there to do
I'm really having a hard time getting Aurora to sign the divorce papers, she moved out and she's barely around and we barely have any idea what she's up to.
I washed up and when I walked into my room I saw a missed call from an unknown number. I called back and when the person picked up, the Individual wasn't talking.
'Hello…hello ..."
'Hello…if there's someone listening I just called back because I saw your missed call."
I said but no response but I could clearly hear children giggle in the background.
' Hello…? Are you there?" I asked but still no answer so I was about to hang up when the person finally spoke.
'ian-ah." That voice sounded familiar.
' Gianna is that you?" I asked and she cleared her throat.
' I would like to have a word with you Mr. Young." She said formally and you have no idea how happy I was at that moment, my lips almost got torn from smiling.
' Okay. So, when?"
' Today, at two o'clock noon, let's meet. I'll text you the address."
' Okay, I'll be waiting for the text." I said and she immediately hanged up.
Wow, that was harsh but hot!
I'm wondering why she wants to meet me? Could Waylon have told her everything?
Or did my dad asked her to meet me? Did he by chance explained things to her?
I stretched to my fullest length and stared at the wall clock, it was ten minutes past eleven am.
I set my alarm to one o'clock noon and went to sleep, it's been a very tired-some week and I need some rest so I would look good to meet my love.
I was in deep slumber when I heard the alarm ring so loudly that I covered my ears with both hands and kicked it off the table.
I looked into the mirror and I still had some sleep in my eyes, I scrolled through my phone and found her text. She had texted me the location and it's really closer to the Castle. I guess she changed her number so I wouldn't be able to contact her.
I wore my brown long sleeved buttoned shirt, matching my pair of black trousers with a nice black Nike designed sneakers and wore my Louis
Vuitton wrist watch took my car keys from the table and my phone as I headed out of my room.
I descended the stairs gently, came across some workers who couldn't get their eyes off me and inhaling my perfume as I passed them by.
I guess I'm still good looking as always.
I looked around as I realized my white range Rover velar was gone, Waylon is the one who took it, he's back to getting me on the edge .
Fortunately, I took my Mercedes Benz keys so I sat in it and drive of from the location she gave me. It was thirty minutes past one when I arrived. The restaurant was empty, did she rent the place just for the two of us?
I walked outside the restaurant and saw a familiar face.
'Hey Ji Tae." I called and he came running to me with a smile on his face.
'it's you, let me ask, Did you solve things between you and her?"
' I think things are getting better."
' That's good to hear. Meet my sister Ji na. She's very cute, isn't she?" He said introducing me to the beautiful little girl he was with.
'Ji na meet Uncleian."
' Ji Tae talks about you every day." 'Really?"
' Yeah and he was right about you been a very handsome man just like our uncle."
' Are you two twins?" I asked and they nodded.
' Arh…you can also tell. I have no idea how we look so alike even though we are a boy and a girl." Ji na said with a smile.
' So, what are you both doing here all alone?" I asked them.
' We aren't alone. We came with our mom." Ji Tae replied.
'Where is she?" I asked and when I looked up I saw Gianna walking towards us.
' Ji Tae, Ji Na." She called out and I was quite surprised.
' Mommy!!"
'Mom?"
Is she their mother? How… how come. She looked up and our gaze met each other's but then she turned and someone really familiar walked to her side. It was Thaddeus
'Hey kids, hurry or else we'll be late for the show." He said to them and they both ran to hug him.
I watched as he smiled at them and tickled Ji Na making her laugh out loud. He then saw me and smiled at me waving at me and I waved back.
' Ready to go?" He asked them but then Ji Na shook her head and came running to my side, I was still squatting, she planted a kiss on my cheeks and smiled.
' Don't worry okay, if she gives you a hard time just let her go and I will marry you okay. I love you." She said blowing a kiss at me before running back into the car and they drove off.
Is she and Thaddeus together? Could he be the father of Ji Na and Ji Tae? Has she really moved on with him?
I really wanted to ask her these questions but then today isn't the right time, I don't want to risk her getting mad at me and leaving.
'She's so adorable." I said to Gianna who nodded.
' Let's go inside and have a seat." She said to me and I nodded.
As I took a step forward, I noticed a lady staring at
Gianna, she was seated in a black car and had a cap on with a black nose mask. Something seemed off because she immediately looked away and pulled her cap forward when she noticed I had seen her.
The street was really quiet when I suddenly heard a gun trigger being pulled and I turned only to see the gun pointed towards Gianna. I hugged Gianna from the back as the gun was fired and I felt something really hit like fire Pierce through the left side of my back to my chest.
I groaned in pain and Gianna immediately screamed as I spat out blood.
'ian!!" She screamed as I fell to the ground slowly smiling at her.

Gianna turned at the sound of the gunshot only to findian spit blood. She screamed for help, holding on to him and begging him to hang in there.
She looked at the other side of the road and saw someone in black seated in a black spot car as the person pointed the gun at her a police Man on patrol immediately arrived seated on his motorbike.
' After that car!! The gunner is in that car please make sure to catch whoever it is!!" She cried out
to the police who started the bike and called for backup as he chased the car.
' Are you alright?"ian said amidst the pain.
'ian-ah please hang in there, please." She cried as she rubbed his cheeks with her palm and called for an ambulance.
' Gianna, I'm glad you're alright. Don't worry about me."
' Hey, are you a fool. Do you think I am that heartless not to worry about you?" she yelled at him and he smiled.
' You have no idea how much I…miss…your…sas…siness." He said and groaned in pain.
' it's good… that… you're okay."
'You idiot, why did you take the bullet. You should've just dodged it. Why did you take it instead!" She yelled at him and he coughed.
'ian-ah…please hang in there okay. The ambulance is on its way." She side pressing against the wound so he wouldn't lose much blood.
' Gianna." He said lifted up his hand and brushing her cheek gently.
' I love you." He said to her and she held his hand but then he was off.
'ian-ah!ian-ah!ian-ah!!" she screamed in fear as she looked around.
The ambulance arrived and she shouted at them for taking too long to come.
' We are sorry but we had a little problem with our car so we had to call another one." A nurse tried to explain to her as they carriedian into the car.
' Why didn't you tell me huh!! Now see if I lose him…I'm going to make sure I shut down the entire hospital!" She yelled at them and they apologized.
She sat beside him in the ambulance as the doctor gaveian a first aid in the car but his eyes were still shut and his skin was getting paler.
' Hurry, we don't want to risk losing the patient!" The doctor doing the CPR in the vehicle shouted at the driver.
