Chapter 48
After the lecture was something different as Melissa kept getting unwanted stares from her peers. She wasn't sure if it was because they all saw Williams drive her to school or because they now seems free with each other.
She gasps as she remembered Williams placing what he calls a friendly kiss on her forehead.
She wouldn't lie, she had been falling more for Williams these few days. Everything about him that seems to disgust her now makes her feel special.
The way he looks at her, the way he holds her, the way he defends her, or even the way he talks to her. The fact that he told her that he had loved her since the first day he set his eyes on her made her want to scream for joy every hour.
Her ballet call would be fast approaching and she needs to change and be there to do some practice on her own. For the past few days, she felt shaking whenever she tries to stand on her toes like before.
At the usual time, an hour before practice, Melissa managed to sneak away from Williams and went to her practice.
The blue Leotard she wore hugged even cure of her body making her look like a little sexy bitch. Funny enough, she forgot to put in her leggings, long socks, or thighs, leaving her legs and thighs bare to the eyes of everyone.
Feeling uncomfortable, Melissa kept trying to use her Leotard to cover her butt as she walked into the dancing hall.
"Not so fast," someone said from behind.
Melissa turned to see Molly, Sam, and Leah, looking at her like she had grown extra heads.
She smile awkwardly as Sam stomped in her direction, obviously angry.
"What the fuck was that?" She yelled "Your line had been off and your-"
Sam went mute! She walked faster to Melissa and turned her neck sharply to the right, revealing the bruise on her neck.
"What happened to you?" Sam gasps as she hugged Melissa.
At first, Melissa went stiff before she became relaxed, she hugged her back as tears flow down her cheeks.
"What the heck happened to you, Melissa?" Molly asked worried as she walked close with Leah who was chewing gum loudly.
"Is that hickeys?" Leah giggled as she pushed Molly aside and jumped "Did you hook up?"
The rest girls gave Leah a murdering look, they couldn't just believe it was coming out from her mouth.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Molly yelled, "You see what looks like a strangle mark, healing lip cut and bruises on the forehead a hookup?"
Leah shrugged, she began to eat the gum more loudly then bent Melissa's face to examine the injuries.
"I had no idea" She defended herself "But that really looks like a love bite"
"Would you mind explaining what happened?" Molly hugged Melissa "You smell like cologne, And you are shaking"
Melissa stiffen, she couldn't just get to tell them what happened or was prepared to start everything from the start. She stared into her friend's eyes and fresh tears began to flow, they look like they truly care.
"What if we talk about it after the practice?" Melissa suggested.
Leah stared at everyone's face then shrugged, she removed her gum, put it behind her ear, and exchange it for potato chips.
"You gat all the time baby" She sounds more like she was moaning "Just know we are going nowhere, so fucking think of a good lie because we will still find out".
Melissa smiled, she kissed their cheeks before running into the hall. She chuckled as she heard what she had expected, their argument.
"What the fuck was that?" Sam half-shouted.
"What are you talking about?" Leah stared "She fucking looks traumatized, can't you see her lips and neck?"
Molly placed both hands below her breast and shifted her weight to her second leg.
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!?" Sam intoned "What the heck is wrong with you guys?"
"We are not detectives" Leah walked away, to where she could see Melissa dance through the glass "There is much to say just standing, trust me"
A faint smile spread across Sam's face, she stared at Molly who had the Sam smile, and nodded.
"Making sense for a while in a thousand years" she smirked.
"I'm a genius" Leah giggled "nobody wo-" she froze, she looked at Sam who had a mischievous smile on her face "Did you just say a thousand years?"
"Yup," Sam replied matter of factly, popping the 'P'. "Don't give me that look Lame, we all know you hard make use of your brain"
The expression on Leah's face was priceless, she growled and move a step close to Sam.
"What did you say?"
"Just saying you lost your chips too" Sam showed the pack of chips to Leah, she put a handful of them in her mouth "Oh! This is fucking good," she said with her mouth full, spitting particles of food on Leah's face.
Anger boil in Leah's skin, the element that had been keeping her white had left and she was heating up, to a darker shade of red.
"Here comes the monster" Sam giggled as she began to move back.
"Urgh!!" Leah pulled her hair "You are so dead!!" She yelled as she ran after Sam "Nobody touches my chips!"
Molly stared at their surprise, she felt Leah was piss because Sam called her lame, and made a remark about her been senseless for years, she never knew it was all because of the chips.
"Leah must like food," Someone said from behind her.
She flinched a little, then slowly turn to face Williams who had the biggest smile on his face.
"Where have you been hiding Melissa?" She placed both hands on her waist, grinned at Williams's surprised expression "You went off the same day as her. Nothing from her in five days"
"I have no idea what you are talking about" Williams adjust his shirt and brought out his arm for a handshake "Nice to see you again, Molly"
"Yeah!" She ignores his hand "At least under better circumstances, not forcing yourself on her in the changing room"
"Look Molly, I know you loved Melissa bu-"
Molly began to giggle, then started to laugh, it was a loud dry annoying laugh.
"What the fuck do you know about us?"
"I know you cheated on her and refused to apologize" Williams blurted.
The shocking expression on Molly's face said it all, she turned back to the glass as she watched Melissa practice alone, ignoring other dancers.
"Let's grow up, Molly," Williams said "You had her, you lost her. Give her another chance with someone else please"
"She is my everything, Williams" Molly blinked back tears "And she can never be good with someone like you".
"I never talked about myself"
"I see the way you look at her, even now" she turned back to face him "Where have you kept her all these days?
Williams grinned, even when he is highly tempted to tell her his piss of mind which was, piss off, he still want to respect Melissa's friends. He walked closer to her and brought out his hand again for another handshake.
"Melissa is all I live for " he started "and whatever happened would come from her itself. But mind you, I wish the best for you girls".
"What the fuck are you doing here," Sam said from behind, anger written all over her face as she and Leah went to stand beside Molly "need help kicking his fucking ass, babe?"
Williams smiled, he moved few steps backward as he turn to face the glass, watching Melissa dance with her peers and Mr. Lopez, failing once or twice. He tilted his head to follow Jared's face and what he was doing to her neck.
"Horny hijo de una perra" he cussed as he placed both hands on the glass.
The watched was Melissa look uncomfortable as his hands caress her skin, following the dance pattern. A week ago, she looked so fine, even seems to be enjoying his touch but she is, blinking back tears as he touches her.
"Hello, cunt!" Sam yelled, "Need a hearing device?"
Williams grinned, he looked at their faces before stoping at Leah, who now had a big lollipop that seems too big for her small month.
"Have a nice day" he told them as he walked inside.
At first, he felt the girls would follow him or do something stupid but they didn't, they just smirked and stood there.
"Now let's call it a day" Mr. Lopez announced as she walked to where Melissa and Jared stood, talking to each other.
"I'm sorry Jared" Melissa looked confused "I don't know what came over me, it's just like I-"
"It's no need for this long talk" Mr. Lopez interrupted, he looked at Jared who bowed and left immediately "Do you want to get off school?"
" No" Melissa gasps.
Mr. Lopez went mute, he looked around and walked closer "You feel safe with that kid?" He asked referring to Williams, who in return smiled as they both looked in his direction.
"Yes. Yes, I do" She seems scared and confused.
"Well, I got your file from your father's mail, and I messaged him about something important but no reply since these days" Mr. Lopez moved closer to Melissa "I know I am not supposed to break this to you but your father had refused to show up or take responsibility, the scholarship board got something and decided to withdraw the scholarship"
Melissa went mute, she turned to Williams than her friends that had been there the whole time and smile. She felt the ground tumor and her lungs began to close, reality begin to spin away as everything became black, making her fall!
