The flight was not long, it took only two and a half hours and they were there. Aaron guided Laurel through the airport corridors, toward the exit. A well-dressed driver seemed to be waiting and led them to the shiny black car that had been prepared. The journey itself is short; suddenly they arrived at the main road, then stopped at a hotel full of elegant lights, leaving Laurel in awe. Even though she restrained herself from looking embarrassing in front of Aaron.
The man took her hand affectionately and led her to the president suite on the top floor of the hotel. It seems the staff at this hotel have been waiting for them and prepared everything for them.
Thanks to Mike on this. This hotel is one of the big hotels owned by the man. Mike had everything prepared for them just as he promised.
Laurel frowned when they got the same room. She held Aaron at the door. “We share a room?”
Aaron shrugged his shoulders. “We're getting married tomorrow at ten in the morning. Is there any difference?”
“Is there any difference?! I don't want to share a room with you before I get married,” muttered Laurel stubbornly.
“We've done it before, Laurel, we sleep in the same room, even in the same bed.” The man smiled softly at the anxiety on Laurel's flushed face. “I'm sorry, I just thought of practicality without taking your feelings into account. I thought that tomorrow morning we'll be married anyway, so there's no point in renting separate rooms. I didn't realize this would make you uncomfortable.”
Aaron gently touched Laurel's cheek. "Maybe if I promised not to act indecently to you tonight, you could calm down a little?"
Laurel wasn't sure. "Are we going to sleep in the same bed?"
“There's a big sofa over there. I'll sleep on the sofa if you wish. "
Laurel thought for a moment, then took a deep breath. Looks like Aaron's promise can be trusted. "Alright then."
So, they went into the room.

While Aaron was in the shower, Laurel took the time to call Aunt Sarah. She already considers the woman to be her mother and it is impossible for her to get married without notifying the figure of her mother's substitute. She explained to Aunt Sarah in a halting voice that she would soon marry her boss, Mr. White.
Laurel shyly finally recounts the incident at the party night, admitting to Aunt Sarah that she lied about staying over at her friend's house. Unexpectedly, Aunt Sarah didn't mind it. Wisely she accepted Laurel's explanation.
“I see, Laurel, you two are all grown up and you can decide for yourself what you think is good. I also salute your boss who is responsible. Not all men are willing to accept that much responsibility because of an incident that results from drunkenness. Most of the men will run away.”
Aunt Sarah took a deep breath. “I can only pray from here, kid. I am sure that anything that was originally done for a good cause will end up being good too.”
Laurel breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Aunt Sarah had blessed her hasty marriage. "Thank you, Auntie, hopefully… I hope that what I have decided is not wrong." Doubt colored her voice.
"You must be sure that your future husband is a good husband." There was a smile in Aunt Sarah's voice on the other side. "I think he's a good person. Then what are your plans after marriage? Are you going straight home?"
“I… I still don't know, Auntie.”
“Let me know when you come home, okay? I'll understand if you don't go straight to the dorms later. You will come home as a married woman, discuss everything with your husband.”
Laurel subconsciously nodded her head, forgetting that she was on the phone. "Very well, thank you, Auntie."
“Your room will still be available as usual. You still have a lot of clothes here, right? If you come home later and decide to go straight to where your husband lives, I will look after your room as if you were still living here. You can pick up your clothes and belongings at any time, don't worry about it. Anyway, focus on your marriage first.”
Laurel smiled when the conversation was over. Her heart felt calm. Aunt Sarah's opinion was important to her and, when Aunt Sarah agreed, her heart felt calmer and safer.
