Chapter 2 🌶

Thea smiled contentedly at Damian as they got dressed in clothing he’d conjured up. “Do you mind if we see Celia and then Darius before we head to the house? I want them, and in particular D, to hear about our new status directly from us.”

“Of course, my love. But don’t ask me to wait long before I have you naked again. The mated beast in me demands to have you over and over again before this night is over,” Damian said wickedly as he pulled her into his arms, his hands cupping her behind, and nibbled at her neck.

Thea sighed as her eyes drifted closed. “And tomorrow? You mentioned needing to head back to Ikisat for a bit.”

“I figured when I finally let you out of bed, you’d go to work for a bit while I head to Ikisat to deal with a few escapees. When I’m finished I’ll pick you up at your office and then we can get some food and decide from there.”

“That sounds good,” Thea smiled at him, as she held him close. “I like this. Being with you, making plans with you. It makes my heart content.”

“For me as well. Why did we wait so long?”

“We were idiots,” Thea giggled.

Damian chuckled. “That must be it.”

“Now let’s get these conversations over with so I can get you home and naked, my hot Daemoni!”

Damian nuzzled her neck as he growled, “Agreed.”

Taking his hand in hers, Thea led him out of the gardens and headed inside towards her office. As she approached Celia, her assistant stood up and then instantly paused, her eyes wide. Running up to Thea, she hugged her tightly with a huge smile as she said, “Oh my God! Oh my God! Congratulations!” Stepping back as she looked at them both, she placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. “Y’all can’t ever do things the normal, sane way can you?”

Damian chuckled as Thea giggled while looking up at him. “Nope, I don’t think we can. What do you think, Dnirya?”

“Nope, not possible.”

“So what are you sporting? Mating marks, rings?”

“Both,” Thea smiled as she showed first her mark and then her rings to Celia.

“Oooooo. Is your ring matching Thea’s, Damian?”

“He’s not....”

“It is,” Damian interrupted, much to Thea’s surprise. She smiled broadly as she saw the simple onyx black titanium wedding band he wore.

“Nice! You, dear sir, have excellent taste! So who all knows?”

“Just you, for now. We’re on our way to tell Darius and then we’ll gradually tell others,” Thea answered.

“So I’ll say nothing for now. I’m sure Darius will put out some sort of announcement. I'll be prepared for that to happen. Oh, I’m just so happy for the two of you. It’s seriously about friggin time!” Celia smiled as she hugged them both.

“We’re going to talk to Darius and then head home. Get out of here as well. Enjoy your afternoon and evening!”

Celia nodded, “I will. And don’t worry, our connection will be turned off.”

Thea blushed as she nodded. “I'll be in some time tomorrow. I'll see you then.”

“Go, enjoy yourselves! Congratulations!” Celia smiled as she hugged them both once again before

Thea led Damian towards the elevator. Once inside the elevator, Damian noticed Thea kept fidgeting. “Nervous, Zoqa?”

“A bit.”

“Darius will accept it. He knew it was bound to happen.”

“True,” Thea agreed as the elevator doors opened. As they approached Merie, Damian held Thea’s hand in his, discreetly massaging her hand to ease her tension. That simple act had Thea smiling as she asked, “Is he available, Merie?”

With a nod, Merie smiled and said, “Go on in.”

Thea knocked on the door before opening it to find Darius at his desk, pouring over some reports. As he looked up, he seemed surprised to see them.

“Hey D. Got a minute?” Thea asked.

Darius frowned a bit. “Of course.”

Looking at Damian, Thea took a deep breath and told him, “We have some good news.” She then held out their wrists and showed their mating marks to Darius.

Darius sat back in his chair and took a deep breath. “I’m not all that surprised. Not entirely happy, but not surprised. You two have a very turbulent relationship. Do you think such a permanent thing as mating is wise?”

“It’s already done,” Damian stated plainly, not liking where this was going. He wouldn’t allow Darius to taint any of the happiness Thea felt.

“We may have had our ups and downs but we have always loved each other,” Thea responded.

“How’s this going to work? Having you live permanently in Ikisat is not a good idea for Nihasia.”

“I don’t plan to give up my job. Not much will change, our relationship will just be a bit more stable.” Thea looked at him sternly before asking. “Can’t you be happy for us a little bit?”

“If it makes you happy, then I’m happy,” Darius replied flatly.

Thea rolled her eyes at him before turning to Damian. “Can you give us a moment, Dnirya?”

Damian knew that look in Thea’s eyes. With a slight chuckle and a nod, Damian stepped outside of Darius’ office.

As soon as they were alone Thea turned back around, hands on her hips, and said to Darius, “Just a little bit ago you told Damian that you trusted me in his care like no other. You like him whether you’ll ever admit it or not. You’ve always known we’d be together so it’s not like a surprise or anything. So stop being a grouchy jerk, stand up, give your granddaughter a hug, tell her congratulations and that you love her.”

As Darius listened, he sat, one eyebrow raised. “What do you expect? You come in here, neck all bitten up, you two broadcasting exactly what you’ve been up to, acting like a couple of teenagers who can’t keep their hands to themselves,” he pouted.

A giggle escaped Thea's lips before she could stop it, “So you’re pouting because we got it on in my secret garden?” Walking over to him, she threw her arms around his shoulders as she said, “I love you, D. You aren’t going to lose me, I promise. You’re my favorite family!”

“Considering the other side is a Daemoni bitch who'd prefer you to be dead, I’m not sure how to take that. But, I guess I’m a bit relieved it’s finally done. Are you happy?”

“Very!”

“Then that’s all that matters,” he replied as he hugged her back. Standing up he called out, “Damian.” As Damian re-entered he smiled at Thea’s smile as she took his hand in hers. “You bellowed?”

“So, congratulations. Take care of her, or else!” Darius warned as he shook his hand. Pulling Theaninto his arms once again, he hugged her tightly before placing a kiss on her forehead and saying, “I love you, Theanna!”

“I love you, too!”

“Do you want to tell Helen?”

“You can but tell her to save some time in her day for me tomorrow so we can chat.

“I will!”

“We’re heading home now, so please, don’t call. We’ll be quite busy,” Damian requested with a smirk as he put his arm around Thea, his hand obviously resting possessively on her behind.

Thea repressed a giggle at the ‘I really hate you right now’ look that Darius gave Damian. “I’ll see you tomorrow D.”

Darius nodded as they vanished from his office. Sitting down with a sigh and a smile, his only thought was, 'It was about time!'

Thea giggled as they reappeared in her bedroom. “No hello to Glen?”

Damian smiled as he mentally scanned the house. “He’s not home. We’ll talk to him later. Right now, I desire naked time with my mate. She’s kept me waiting for too long,” he stated as his hands started to remove her clothing.

Thea closed her eyes with a happy sigh, “Shame on her. What a terrible thing for her to do to you!”

“Indeed.” He gently bit down on her shoulder. “I love how you taste, Zoqa. I love everything about you, even how you drive me insane.”

“Since we’re now stuck with each other, it’s a good thing you love that I drive you insane because I predict there will be a lot of that. Followed by lots of makeup naked time.”

“Definitely my favorite time,” Damian murmured as he removed the last of her clothing. His hands caressing her body.

Backing up to the bed, Thea sat down as she watched him slowly undress for her. “I used to hate when Damian Prince appeared on those sexiest men lists, especially when it was a sexiest bachelor list. It would infuriate me and make me jealous that all those women were fantasizing about you.”

“I only participated on those lists because of your reaction. Your jealousy meant you still cared.”

Watching him remove the last of his clothing she reached out and took his hand, pulling him closer to her so that she could feel his rock hard muscles and appreciate how gorgeous he was up close. “I had this image that would play out in my head where you would show up with some tall, gorgeous blonde hanging all over you and tell me that our betrothment was over, and that you had moved on.”

“Is that why you dated that xiqkh?” Damian scowled.

“Damian! Such language!” Thea smirked. “Yeah, I was convinced you’d never settle for someone like me. Why you love me still perplexes me.”

Pushing her back to lay on top of the bed he replied, “How could I not? You’re my love, my savior. You’re the very reason the world is safe from me. Besides, we both know that if the creators of those lists saw my true form I’d have received a very different reaction.”

Wrapping her arms around his neck as she wrapped her legs around his, she said, “I love your human and Daemoni forms, Dnirya.” Pulling his head towards her, she hungrily kissed him.

With one sharp movement of his hips, he plunged into her, claiming her body as his once again. In and out he moved, with each thrust she demanded more of him until suddenly she rolled them over so that she sat on top. “I want to make love to my Daemoni prince, Dnirya. Don’t ever think he’s hideous. He’s majestic and fearsome and mine!”

Damian paused as he looked deep into her eyes and saw the raw truth of her words and loved her even more for them. Flipping her back around, he transformed into his Daemoni form as he claimed her mouth, and claimed her body as every part of him increased in size.

“Yes! Don’t hold back, never hold back.”

“I don’t want to hurt you,” he told her softly.

Grabbing hold of his horns she looked deep into his eyes as she switched to Daemoni, she commanded, “Don’t hold back. Never hold back with me, Amaymon. Love me how you desire, Dnirya. I’m yours, always.”

Running his claws tenderly down her body, he caressed her arms before taking her hands in his and pinning them over her head, leaving her fully exposed to him. As he thrust his very large member into her body she closed her eyes in pleasure gasping, “Yes!”

In and out he pounded into her, holding nothing back as she met him thrust for thrust, demanding everything he had to give. As the beast within him fully emerged, it roared in pleasure as his fangs grew and he bent his head to the curve of her neck. Piercing her skin tenderly, he drank of her and tasted of her power and essence, causing them both to feel the explosion of ultimate bliss as their souls joined once again.

For several long minutes they laid connected, panting from their exertion. Returning to his human form, Damian gently turned Thea’s head so he could look at her neck. He hissed at the sight of his bite. “Oh, Zoqa!” he lamented.

“No! Don’t apologize for what we just shared. It was everything I wanted and the most amazing experience!”

Kissing her tenderly, he pulled her close as he kissed the open wound on her neck, causing her to gasp as his power filled her body and healed her. After the wound was gone, he smiled and stated, “Better!”

The desire to sleep filled her as she tucked her head under his chin so that she could listen to his heart beat its strong rhythm. Wrapping her arms around him so that she was cuddling close to him, she murmured as she drifted off, “Hold me and never let me go.”

“Never, Zoqa. Never!” he responded as he joined her in sleep.
